Hi @Alicat, it's so nice to watch a dream come true, she looks fabulous @Elfvan88, just keep saving, I had to wait so long until I could afford mine and then thought I would die waiting for her to be cast, but as soon as she arrived, all that melted away! Mine is still blank in her carry bag, I get her out to admire her but just had no time to paint her yet

My new sanity head arrived from pasha! She she has a hyper realistic faceUp. I also decided to cut my original pasha pasha wig from its original
waist length to a more Super model length and added some layers to it.

This is my first post here ever!
I’m so excited because I just preordered a mini from Pasha. Yay!!
I’m so excited and don’t know what I’m going to do with myself while I wait. I ordered a blank blue blood Sanity mini. It will be my first ball jointed doll and I can’t wait to paint her.

I just realized that I have watched your unboxing video on Youtube haha I am so excited to get mine and was so happy to see someone upload an unboxing!

My new sanity sculpt from Pasha. Love the dramatic face up she gave her, very different from Bowie, my first Pasha Pasha.
I also cut up the silk waist length wig that came with Bowie, shortened it, and added lots a front layers. It used to be waist length and one length too. It got soo hard to manage as the silk fibers tend to snag and tangle very easily. The upside to a silk fibers is since it’s sooo fine, it creates a very realistic texture/scale for a doll.

 

Off topic but soooo Amazing....did anyone see Pasha’s insta post recently?
She posted that the award winning director Guillermo del Torro, now owns one of her dolls! (Black Unicorn) I thought that was amazing, as I’m a huge fan of his...just thought I would share her news.

@JohnnyAdamsSanga , thank you! I find that I like watching unboxing videos, or just people talking about their specific maker dolls while I wait on mine! It helps me to see what to expect, and to pass the time! I also want to help people avoid mistakes that I may have made along the way, too! I apologize that they arent in any way professional, lol! I'm aiming to do a more in-depth look at her joints this weekend. Congrats on the pre-order, I'm partial to blue!
The only thing that stopped me from ordering was I want another original size.

A sad day for me as I have just wrapped up my long awaited Pasha Breathe to send her off to her new owner. Things in my life have changed so much n the year since I ordered her that I needed the money and had to sell. Hey ho.... Dolls are just too expensive for me these days but they were a lovely distraction while it lasted, have fun, y'all

 

I'm very sorry to hear that @vonbonbon! You have a great attitude about it, though! And perhaps in the future you will be able to take part in a preorder - and the wait won't be so long!

 

Thank you, @StellaMarigold. I'm feeling quite resigned about it I've had 10 fantastic years collecting dolls and making friends through the BJD hobby, I'm sure I won't be giving it up completely but I will sell a lot of my dolls and buy no more until my financial situation really stabilises. Realistically I think it will be better to stay off the doll forums too much because otherwise I will be tempted or perhaps feel resentful that I can't buy.... and I would rather keep pleasant memories. Who knows, maybe things will turn around quickly, but for now, dolls are just not the priority.

I am wondering if any of you have an Ebony doll ? I always had ws dolls, but photos of Pasha Ebony silk girl is speaking to me, just that I am frightened the real color could be kind of chocolate that I would not like at all, the Ebony silk on Pasha's photos looks light gold tan, what d you think ?

 

Abell, I used to own an ebony silk Pasha mini, her skin colour is very beautiful but slightly darker than I was expecting. I would say this colour gives her the appearance of an exotic Asian/Indian woman. Sorry I have no photos, she was adopted by a friend.

Alfie, I've been meaning to comment for ages - I absolutely adore your Stevie, that face-up is simply stunning. You are lucky to have her.

 

I need to stop stumbling into threads that look interesting because I keep falling for difficult to acquire sculpts and dolls! I'm loving the faces and it makes me want to start hoarding money to find one myself!

 

I just ordered my first Pasha mini. She's one of the instadolls and her name is Heddy. She will come to me with a faceup by Pasha. My question is when the blank dolls come up for order do you have to find your own artist for the faceup or is there an option to purchase one done by Pasha? Also, how often can I expect new preorders and new instadolls? Happy to be a new member here. Any info appreciated.

 

Congratulations for your girl!

When you order a blank doll she comes with no face Up but you can pay more and pasha can make a faceup on the doll.. I think that soon will be a new pre order for the original size with the new body and new faces!

Carol congratulations! I don't remember Heddy. which mold is she? I love Pasha's Instagirls, they are so inspired.

 

I'm very new to PashaPasha but think I am going to be pleased with Giddy Heights the Instadoll that I just ordered. I have a couple of questions. It seems as if there was a preorder of blank dolls in June. Any idea how often preorders are offered? Also, can wigs by Pasha be commissioned and lastly do the dolls come with eyes or are they purchased separately. Oh! are the Instadolls considered preorders or are they released from time to time?
Do I need to get on a mailing list to learn of new offerings or will I be added automatically since I have made a purchase?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

You're absolutely correct her name is "Giddy Heights" Don't know what I was thinking when I said her name was Heddy.

 

i´m not sure if there is a certain time for pre orders.. she announce them on her instagram account. she offer some wigs on her shop and the faceup service too! the eyes are included. instadolls are not preorders.. because you dont have to wait the production time! the doll is ready to purchase.

Congrats on the girl, @Carolod23 ! I can't wait to see pictures! Did everyone see the new girl posted on Pasha's IG? I think she settled on Crave and it looks like it will be $1,200! Ouch! That is quite an increase, not sure if I will do it or not.

Has anyone any idea how long the preorder will stay open? I have a friend, also in Australia, not on DoA who wants to order but the time zone means setting an alarm if its a super short time frame. The teeth will be a whole lot easier to paint.
For those who have taken the layaway option, is the 8%that much of the total doll or of the initial $300 deposit?
I am curious to know if that new torso joint is a huge temptation for people lucky enough to be in this preorder? Sadly, not me this time.

Yes, the new price is higher but we pay for quality, and these are high quality dolls. There are other artist blank dolls even higher in price. We have to weigh it up. I suppose the layaway option is worth considering and we have a few months while waiting.
I like the refinement to the new neck joint. It would be nice to have a girl on the new body but I may have to wait too.
I'm wondering how many dolls are ordered with each pre-order, they go so fast.

 

I don’t think the price is outrageous and the quality is wonderful. The issue is of course cash flow or lack thereof. From what Pasha says on Instagram, the preorder will be far more limited that the recent mini order which seemed open for quite some time. Best advise my friend to set that alarm if he is to secure a doll. I think I read that heads will not be sold separately? Is this correct? I would love a Crave head.
Does Pasha declare the full price on customs forms? We have now joined the rest of the world with GST. My friend, Tim is saving hard but that may be the deciding factor as it adds a further substantial amount. Sorry to ask so many questions of those who have ordered before but Erika has not answered his messages, presume very busy!

 

The more I see of these girls, the more interested I become in them. But I cannot find all the info you have - I follow Pasha on two of her Instagram accounts, but there isn´t any info about the preorder. Where do I have to look? Thank you

 

Her website is www.pashapashanewyork.com and the preorder info is normally on there, I am in UK and she did mark down the price on mine without asking which was very helpful.

@Ashemanu, both the $1,200 price I initially quoted, plus the newer $1,100 was on her stories on the Pashapasha_newyork account. So, maybe look through those. It'll hopefully explain it better

 

Hi, My friend, Tim has seen both my Milk With Blood skin tone and my White Bone girls. He is now very torn as which to order. I have always been more a paler skin BJD person but even I like the Milk with Bone. Does anyone have an opinion on which you would choose and which you find more versatile and why? I have run out of suggestions and opinions and in fact, will go quite mad if I have this conversation one more time leading up to the preorder so please help if you can. Thank you
PS, perhaps I should just tell him to go for Ebony Silk or Blue Blood and be done with it After this, I am telling him he has to get himself on DoA! He is brand new to BJD's and this will be his first doll.

 

i love the milk with blood skin tone. a friend of mine have a breath on that color and i think it looks really natural and you can make the doll look very nice with blushing.. white bone is really beautiful too but in my opinion i prefer milk with blood.

 

Thank you, this is what I think he should do too. It's a huge thing for him because he has been saving so hard for that perfect first and possibly only doll. He keeps swinging between the dramatic quality of the white bone and the natural-looking. Sometimes it's great to get strangers opinions as I will always say white. the more opinions the merrier!

I placed an order for a Blue Blood Pulse
I sold my Milk and Blood Pulse because I couldn't style her to my satisfaction, I hope it goes better with the Blue Blood one, the neck on the 2nd Gen body looks prettier, I think.
There doesn't seem to be a waiting room for PashaPasha?

 

I hope you enjoy you Blue Blood more! I find it hard to see any pictures of the neck comparison other than just the pictures on Instagram of Crave. People just seem to write on here with the apparently long long wait for Pasha goodness

 

I was really tempted too but she wasn't selling the Sanity face sculpt at this preorder. That and I still have a mini on layaway.

 

Yes, I was surprised it was Pulse and Crave only. I was hoping for half closed eye floating heads. I am kicking myself as I really wish I had done a layaway on an Ebony Silk Pulse now. Oh well, suppose there will be another preorder at some point. Sanity is really great. I have her in Milk With Blood, must get some pictures when she has clothes.

 

Can anyone kindly let me know which head sculpt this Pashapasha doll is? I find it really hard to tell the difference sometimes with Pashapasha dolls!

THANKYOU! I thought so but I wasn’t sure! This is why I love DOA literally get an answer within minutes! I actually have a headache from scouring google images for hours of the different head sculpts! It’s so hard to tell especially with the wildly different types of face ups.

It would really be useful to have like a reference thread with multiple photos of the different head sculpts as so many people on Instagram and Flickr post their dolls but don’t say which one it is.

My next question is does anyone know which the next mini pre-order head sculpts will be? I understand that pasha only releases two different ones at a time. If anyone knows please share

 

i always look on instagram. people always put the name of the sculpt on the hashtags.. about the next pre order i think that pasha say that she is working on the new body for the mini size so i think could be soon but i dont know if will be full doll and heads or just the full dolls.. but she will announce on her social media accounts like always

 

I hope the Halloween heads are released this year. Fingers crossed as I would love a blue fantasy head.

 

I’ve ordered one Pulse from 2nd generation, it will be my first Pasha doll and my grail doll ❤️ I hope the waiting would not be too long ! I just regret not to have bought a second pair of hands Do you know if you can buy hands separately ?

 

I think you could write and see if you can add the hands to the order, it is worth trying. Which skin tone did you choose?

Thank you, I know its hard trying to decide on which skin tone to order a girl in. hopefully photos will help anyone thinking about it. i loved the skintone so much I i did get in on Giddy Heights. too. and yes this girl is a Mini Pasha. I could also not resist the original size pre order period. of Pulse in Milk w blood skintone. I hope others that have a girl with the Milk w bone or even white bone share their photos here of them too

I guess it depends on what type of look he is going for and also if he has any idea which type of face up he prefers? I would say examine the instagirls they give a pretty good view of all the skin colours/face up types.

 

He ended up ordering Milk with blood. I am gravitating towards Ebony Silk now and hoping to be able to save enough in time for the next preorder! My personal favourite is MwB as it's just so realistic. So many of us just need to see dolls in person before we really know if they are going to work for us.
