My primary girl doll (who is either a Fantasia Doll Vivian or an Iplehouse Scarlet, both using the same Impldoll Starwoman MGB) wields a double-crescent fangtian ji. However, previous attempts at trying to make it using cardboard and sintra have met with lackluster results. In desperation, I busted out Blender and rendered the low-poly 3D model of the blade myself. This mini-project was actually a collab with the hubby because he has the tools and the better skills for this kind of thing. (Yours truly fails miserably at neat cementing/gluing and sanding.) He was also kind enough to get in touch with a friend of his who does 3D printing so the file can be brought to life. After assembly and painting (hubby did both, hehe), I took care of the more decorative aspects with the waxed cords. The blade part actually remains detachable from the rest of the weapon, for easy transport. Not pictured: bottom section, which has the counterweight (also 3D printed).
