Paradox Photography - If Your Dolls Met Themselves

    1. Paradox Photography: What would happen if your dolls encountered themselves from another reality?

      So the rules are simple enough. Create omake photos of your dolls encountering themselves! Be creative!
      If your boy or girl hates themselves, would they fight?
      If they love themselves, would the date?
      Would they play Poker? Blackjack? Go-Fish?
      Or would they simply stare at each other?

      Trick photography is the key here. Edit two or more pictures together to create the effect of multiple doppelgangers.
      There are two methods. Basically, the one if you are good with Photoshop and the one if you are bad with Photoshop.
      If you can, Photoshop in your doll into another picture. If not, take same angle/lighting photos and crop them together in MSPaint or related program.
      Try to make it look seamless.
      If you are doing the MSPaint way, the following helps. A tripod (carpet is my bane, it makes the tripod wiggle), stable area to place your kids, natural lighting (artificial is okay, but it's hard to hide the seems), and no loose objects. (heaven knows how many time I accidently move stuff enough to mess up the seems). Also, don't move your camera. Movements of up to half an inch can drastically alter the angle.

      CHALLENGE: FOR THE TRULY AMBITIOUS AND INSANE!
      For those people who feel like going overboard, why not see how many of one doll you can get in a shot.
      To count, all copies of your doll must be at least 50% in frame, must be recognizable as being said doll, and must look as none photo-shopped as possible.
      Also, you cannot have many different dolls in frame. They need to be the same doll, over and over and over again.
      The current record is 9.
      Remember, there is no deadline, as there is no prize for first, because there is no first.

    5. The Twins:

      I know, one doll over and over. These two do everything together, however.

      Violet (in black) is a rather cool, calm person. She also tends to keep to herself. I think she'd stick protecitvely close to whichever Lily she thought to be the original. If you put Vi in a room with Vi, they'd probably stand the full room apart and keep a wary eye on each other.

      Lily is a bit shy and tries her best to be as close to her more outgoing sister as possible which is why they're practically sitting on each other. If you put Lily in a room with Lily, they'd blush and hide from each other, but would eventually be curious and interact. Most likely they would silently sit and stare at each other or braid each other's hair.

      I would have put another Violet in the picture but the tripod fell over at that point. If I do any more of these, I'll try to find other places to set up and use more interesting poses.
