New Order keyword: Pandora's Box - Based on the two contrasting interpretations of Pandora’s Box—“Did we leave a single last hope inside the box even amidst our suffering, or is there still hope in the world because an unknown concept that declared itself to be hope remains trapped inside the box?”—I would like to see images that contrast the inside and outside of a face, such as hope and disaster, or anxiety and relief. It does not matter which attribute represents the inside or the outside. The Makeup Artist’s Interpretation: Disaster erases life, and thus arrives with a face of quiet sorrow and detachment. In contrast, hope is a garden filled with newly blooming flowers, symbolizing life. However, since we cannot know if it is “true” hope until the box is opened, I depicted that hope—something that someone has named “hope,” or rather, something “painted” while believing it to be hope—as a painting. I was really surprised when I saw the finished makeup photos she sent. It was an interpretation I hadn’t expected at all, and it perfectly highlighted the unique shape of this head. I feel like I need to do more research on shooting techniques to bring out her beauty, but she’s such an amazing subject that even thinking about it is a pleasure ㅠwㅠ
New This is the first time I see user pictures of this sculpt! It reminds me of Birdcube Xuanfu. I love the first two pictures the most - you always have a way of framing these body horror type dolls aesthetically. Will you take pictures of her with Chytridiomycotta (Phoenix)?
New @lutke Haha, I think her inspiration probably came from "Broken Pottery." I often say things like, "It would be fun to break a doll apart and put it back together," and when I place makeup orders, I even say, "Custom work like painting, sanding, or additional sculpting—it doesn’t matter if you even break the doll’s face and reassemble it. If you have an image in mind, feel free to bring it to life—whatever it is—and just bill me for the cost.” lol. Yeah, there’ll be a chance for them to appear together. One represents the coexistence of life and death, and the other, disaster and peace, so it’ll be fun to arrange them side by side! @Emmacandyapple Thank you for appreciating her beauty! Honestly, she’s too much for me to handle—I think I should donate her to a museum (though of course, I have absolutely no intention of sending her away) X°D
