    2. She looks great! I think the eyes are a little too far apart and they look pretty deep, especially the bottom and the inner part where it blends into the nose. And this is nit-picking, but the outer part of the lower lid is very straight - the angle doesn't blend well. I think if you could curve and blend it just a tiny bit more in the middle where the lid starts to straighten the angle wouldn't look as harsh but would still have the look. The outer lower lid also is very blended into the face - you can see in the upper right picture under her left eye (our right) that it looks like it has a smooth part where there is no eyelid crease. I wouldn't make the crease too deep, but maybe define it a bit more. And I think making her nostrils a little deeper would look nice, but that does make molding slightly harder. Overall she is great - I really like the style and I love the tip of the nose and the lips.

    3. Yeah, I do like wide-spaced eyes, but I think you're right, it's a little much. And eyelids are my nemesis... but I'll see if I can incorporate your feedback. Thanks much! :)

    4. oh how cute!! I love fae's with exaggerated 'muzzle's :D are the ears going to be removable?
And along the lines of making the nose holes a lil deeper, the mouth would look nicer as well with a deeper crease. If you plan to cast when you prime your pieces those details might get lost. Love to see more!!

    5. Thanks! Now that you mention it, she does have a similar elongated face as your Tylwyth Teg... speaking of dolls I'd like to see more of, hint hint. ;)

Ears... yeah, I don't know yet. They'd probably cast better as separate pieces, but at this scale they'd be extra-tiny.

Meanwhile, better eyes & lips (I hope)... plus the beginning of body:

Please disregard the poorly-painted eyeballs. I find they're still better than nothing. :P

Thank you again for your feedback so far -- more is always welcome. :)

    6. Such cute hips! I love a fairy with big hips.

    7. She's really cute! I love that body, I have a weakness for pear shaped bodies.

    8. OO Love the body~! XD Power to the long faces! :D (I'll be hopefully updating today after I fix one thing ;) )
You're looking really good so far!

    9. Very pretty!
Only critique I have is that maybe you could increase mesh density in the mouth area so you could sculpt her mouth a little more... so far, her lips don't look like they would split upper and lower at all.

    10. Thank you all. :) I should say that her hips are actually quite slim -- it's just that the rest of her is even-more-slim. :D I would like to do a real pear-shaped body sometime, but I think fairies need to be a little more aerodynamic.

AfroditeOhki, I'll definitely give that a try -- thanks!

I think arms may be my least-favorite part of a body sculpt, because I keep putting them off. :P

    11. Bump for an update -- see first post for latest pic!

    12. Great improvement! I especially like the shape of her mouth and eyes.
