I purchased a Dollshe Rhythmos body from Vash. I paid on February 23 and was assured that the body would be shipped and I would be provided with a tracking number the following day. A little over a week passed and I heard nothing. I finally messaged Vash on March 2, asking if s/he had the chance to ship the body. Vash replied on March 7, saying that s/he would send me a tracking number at the end of the week. After again hearing nothing, I messaged Vash again to request a tracking number on March 19, almost a month after I paid. I still have yet to receive a response, and sent Vash a message on Monday (March 27) stating that if I do not receive a tracking number by the end of the week, I will be forced to file a Paypal claim to obtain proof of shipment. I will consider this matter happily resolved if I receive a tracking number and the doll arrives in good condition. I honestly hate to take it this far, but I have no other means of recourse at the moment, and Vash has yet to respond to either of my two most recent messages on DoA.
Update: I filed a Paypal dispute on Friday, March 31, and still have yet to hear anything from Vash. If I have not received any response by this Friday, I will escalate the dispute to a claim.
Update: Much to my surprise, the body arrived today, however it was not as described. The original listing said it would come with the original box and Certificate of Authenticity, and it did not have either of those things. Also due to the less-than-adequate packaging (it came in a shoebox wrapped in a doll-size kimono), two of the fingers were broken off of one hand. It's an easy enough fix, but the break wouldn't have happened if the doll had been packaged as described. Overall, I consider this issue resolved.
Wanted to add, I am still going to request a partial refund due to the poor packaging, lack of CoA, and broken fingers.
Final addition to this post: After checking the shipping label, I realized that the doll was actually shipped on March 29, over a month after I was told the doll had been shipped.
I have escalated the Paypal dispute to a claim and am awaiting Paypal's decision. The reasons I cited for the partial refund are the broken parts and missing CoA.
4-14-2017: Vash responded to the PayPal claim with a tracking number, but it does not work on any of the tracking sites I have checked. I also changed the reason for the claim from Non-receipt to Not as Described, citing the damage in shipping. I am still waiting on Paypal's decision, but hope to hear the final word soon.
4-21-2017: Paypal said I am entitled to a full refund... if I send the doll back to Vash. Given that it is a discontinued style (which is why I bought it second-hand) and Vash's already spotty record of returning messages, I have no intention of returning the body. I have left Vash appropriate feedback and consider this matter unhappily resolved.
