Negative Feedback Paging Revien - no communication, buyers had to pay extra postage on delivery

    1. I have not heard from @revien for nearly two weeks, and I'd like an update about the SD tank tops I bought.

      On April 30, I contacted Revien to ask about buying two SD tank tops she had listed for $12 including shipping. She replied that they were available and gave me her PayPal address, and I paid the same day. She said she would update me the next day with tracking after she shipped.

      I was not updated the next day, though the sales thread was deleted. I understand people get busy or distracted, so I waited awhile, thinking maybe she had shipped and forgot to send tracking, maybe the message had failed to send, or some similar thing. It's okay, it happens.

      I waited a week from the planned shipping date, and on May 8th, I still hadn't been sent a tracking number or received the shirts, so I sent Revien another PM, asking for an update. I got no reply, and she hasn't read the message.

      Today is May 12, almost two weeks after the shirts were supposed to be shipped. Revien has not checked our convo since May 1.

      Right now, I'm not calling this problem transaction, just want to page her in hopes of getting an update. I noticed she's had five other similar paging threads in the past that got results, so I thought this was maybe the best way to get her attention.

      I will close the Paging Thread when either:

      1. I receive the shirts. (happily resolved)
      OR
      2. I am refunded the full amount. (unhappily resolved)

    2. Hopping in on this since I'm in the same boat. Paid for a pair of Volks SD gloves on the 30th and have not received them or a shipment notice. I messaged @revien yesterday to ask for the status.

      I'd prefer to receive the gloves, but will accept a refund if she isn't able to make it to the post office in the next week or so.

      It’s discouraging to see @revien was online and didn’t reply to my messages or even read them, nor reply to this thread.

      If I don’t have the shirts by Monday, May 20, I will start a dispute with PayPal. That will mark three weeks since I paid. It might not be much money, but it’s more than I’m willing to lose.
       
    5. She's currently posting on Instagram, which is nice. My message from Monday is still unread.

      I'm hoping that the gloves will appear in the mail soon, but will definitely start a Paypal dispute by the 30th.
       
    6. I want to update that the shirts arrived today and they are as they were described, so this is resolved for me. I hope @whitebread also gets a package soon. Please leave this thread open until she does.

      However, I'm still very disappointed in this transaction because:
      1. @revien never replied to my messages
      2. She never sent me a tracking number
      3. It didn't even have a tracking number
      4. The package was shipped on May 13, which is 12 days later than she told me it would ship
      5. She didn't put enough postage on it, so I was greeted at the post office by being told I owed more money to receive the package. She had paid $1.15 postage when it required $3.70 due to the large envelope it was sent in. Luckily, I know the postal employee very well and she was able to waive the fee and let me have the package anyway. Had it not been for her, I would have had to pay an additional $2.55 or forfeit the package.

      I consider this resolved, but due to the above issues, I'd like to leave this as Negative Feedback.

      Revien, in the future, I highly recommend keeping in contact with your buyers. I think you'll find most people will be very understanding as long as you keep them updated. Communication can go a long way in preventing problem transactions and lets buyers know that you haven't taken their money and disappeared.

    8. My message from the 30th is still marked as unread, and I don't have any incoming packages showing up on my USPS dashboard.

      But hey, at least one of us got our items! I'll continue to wait a few more days before opening a dispute since I'd rather have the gloves than a refund.
       
    9. I just received a notice for the package from @revien which was not delivered due to it being $2.91 short on postage.

      I was planning on being out of town for my birthday this weekend and part of next week, so I am unsure of when I will be able to retrieve it.

      My message to Revien is still unread.

    12. I have left Negative Feedback and a link to this thread in @revien 's feedback thread, for the reasons stated above. Even though I did receive my items, I would not buy from this seller again or recommend her.

    13. So, slight problem. Since the package was missing postage it was routed to a postal depot near me. Unfortunately the depot cannot locate the package but assured me that they are looking for it. The postal worker I spoke to informed me that there is the chance that the package has already been sent back to the sender.

      @revien has still not reached out to me or read the last message in our conversation. However, she has been posting on the forum and on Instagram.

      I have not been on the forum for some weeks, aside for a moment on Tuesday which had no notices of paging at the time. I do not use this forum often, which is why my signature implores people to reach out to me on instagram or Twitter as I receive notifications for these sites.

      I am not sure why additional postage was required upon delivery as I've never heard of this issue before. Please invoice me the amount they charged you to my Paypal. It is the same email address as the one originally used.

      I have not received any packages back from the post office. I will simply be refunding the $12 to your account.

      Should the gloves show up, I will contact you and pay for them.

    19. May 21st/22nd is Tuesday, you realize? You may believe what you wish, I have no intention of arguing. I simply don't understand this concept of "they posted a completely different site once so they must be ignoring me".

      I'm to understand they charged you postage for an item you never received, you paid, and yet the item was still sent back? In what way did they collect this postage?

      Your purchase was refunded before your post, so I know you are aware you received $23 back despite the typo.
       
    20. I do see that I have a pending refund of $23 from you. Paypal did not send me an email notification for the refund, which is why I was unaware of it. Thank you for refunding me.

      The postal worker left a note on the bottom of the notice (which unfortunately I blanked on photographing) saying that I could either go to the depot or leave cash in a sealed envelope in my mailbox. I chose the cash option since I didn't feel like paying for an Uber to and from the depot.

      Please refer to your post history and updates from the mod in this thread regarding the times you were on the forum. I only mentioned Instagram because it showed that you were at least alive and had internet access during the times that @CloakedSchemer and I were attempting to reach you.

      Once the refund has cleared, I will consider this matter resolved. I'm writing off the $3 for unpaid postage as a donation to the USPS.
       
    21. I see. I have never heard of such a thing before. For both cases it is a matter I will take up with the post office personally. The postage amount has been refunded to you.

      I will await an invoice from the other party.
       
    22. @revien I have a friend who works for the post office, and I was able to get my fees waived and you don’t owe me anything more. I do wish you had messaged me to let me know you’d be shipping so late, as it could have helped avoid this whole thread if I’d just known what was going on, but as far as I’m concerned, I consider our part completed and resolved. As soon as @whitebread feels everything is resolved for her, I think this thread can be closed.

    23. I have received my refund for the gloves and the postage I paid. Thank you, Revien, I do appreciate you refunding me.

      Unfortunately I will have to leave negative feedback for this transaction. If @revien had shipped the items a couple of weeks late, notified me of the delay, and had attached correct postage, I would have been fine with this transaction. However, I am very unhappy with the transaction mostly due to not being notified that she was shipping the package a couple of weeks after I paid. She has not read or replied to my PMs after giving me her Paypal address, and the only communication I've had with her has been in this thread. Due to these shenanigans, I will not be buying or selling to @revien in the future.

      I consider this thread resolved and will be linking it in her feedback thread.
