Negative Feedback Paging lyderic

I'm just trying to get ahold of @lyderic. I purchased a DomaDoll Cookie from her and we went back and forth about shipping options, but I haven't been responded to since our conversation about shipping quotes on September 22nd. I did attempt to contact her two additional times since with no response. I understand that shipping to the US is difficult right now, but I would like an update regardless.

As an update, I remembered I actually had an email address for @lyderic to try before escalating this further. This would be a fourth alternative attempt at communication besides the two Conversations PMs and opening this thread on Marketplace Transactions. I have still not heard back from the seller

 

After having exhausted other means of communication (here via Communicationsx2, here via Problem Transactions, and email), I have now opened a PayPal case in attempt to get in contact with the seller. This will be the fifth attempted communication with @lyderic

 

I just received a message from Paypal today (11/13/2025) that after two attempts by Paypal to contact @lyderic, they are refunding me for this purchase. I would like to convert this thread to a negative feedback thread.

In summary, timing of communication
1. 09/22/2025: discussion that seller would message me back for shipping quotes
2. 10/21/2025: attempt at contact through DoA Communications portal with no response
3. 10/28/2025: attempt at contact through DoA Communications portal with no response
4. 11/04/2025: attempt at contact via creation of this DoA Problem Transactions thread with no response
5. 11/07/2025: attempt at contact via email provided by seller with no response
6. 11/10/2025: attempt at contact via opening a Paypal case with no response
7. 11/12/2025: attempt at contact by Paypal (second Paypal attempt at contact) in relation to the open case with no response

 

I realize the way I originally wrote this was confusing. To clarify, on 09/04/25, lyderic quoted me the following regarded the cost of the doll + shipping, “You live in us right? Shipping fee with tracking/ insurance is 40 usd but I reduce price 30 usd / A total price 390 usd,” and by 09/05/25 I had paid the full amount. However, then I received the response, “Hellô i discovered yesterday french regular post office blocked the shipping for United States until they find a good agreement together [emoji]
I check other shipping compagnies or you want me to wait to become regular again ? so sorry” on 09/11/25, which seemed to make sense as I was dealing with a similar situation with the Canadian post due to the evolving shipping situation in the USA and tariffs. I then requested alternative quotes and the story proceeds as above.
