Resolved Paging lunaria1

Jan 5, 2021

    1. I purchased a Souldoll Ignis from lunaria1 on Dec 18th.

She promised to take packing pictures and to ship out on Monday (21st Dec).
On 22nd she mentioned chaotic situation at the post office and long queues due to new covid meassurements in her country and apologized for not shipping yet.

I was ok with that and told her not to stress herself as it was x-mas time on top, and that I was alright with her shipping after the christmas weekend.

That was the last I heard of her.

I tried to contact her again on the 29th asking for an update on wether or not she would be able to ship out 'this year' (2020) or if I should expect it 2021.

I sent her another notification on 4th January, that I required an update about the status of shipping or an estimate of when she would get around it.
I set her a short deadline that I required the update until today 7pm (which it is in both our time zones by now), in hopes that she would see the message in a notification in her e-mails and respond quickly, in hopes of resolving this transaction successfully.

As lunaria1 hasn't replied at all till now, nor saw it necessary to log in ever since 22nd to keep me updated, I decided to go and open a PayPal claim as I informed her.

At this point I feel like I can't trust / believe any new promises of shipping, especially due the lack of attempt on communication.
Once the money has been refunded, I'll consider this case resolved on my side.

    2. lunaria1 suddenly contacted me directly per e-mail on the 7th, apologizing for the delay and claiming to have been snowed in until recently and without internet.
She provided me with a tracking number and packaging pics, while at the same time mentioning that the parcel would ship out on the day after or saturday.

I in return honestly told her I already handed the matter over to paypal's buyer protection and that I prefered to cancel the transaction, as the lack of communication really had left a bad taste for me and that I had a hard time believing she was snowed in ever since the x-mas weekend and thus unable to communicate any kind of further delay.

At that point I didn't believe that any shipping was going to happen within the promised frame of time.
I didn't her anything back from her after that.

Paypal later that day informed me, that she had provided them with the same (as of then, obviously not yet working tracking number) and that they had requested further information or proof that the item had indeed been shipped.
Unfortunately that doesn't seem to have happened, as today I was informed that the case had been decided in my favour as the seller hasn't responded to the inquiry.

I admit I did hope she'd provide whatever proof paypal had required her, showing that she had indeed been serious about shipping out.
As it is, I'm just glad I've been refunded and thus the case is resolved on my side.
