Same here, although if others are having problems, maybe I'll just go ahead and finish filing my paypal claim.

 

I just checked her feedback thread, she has all seller feedback, not anything from buyers. She doesn't seem to have any recent posts either.
I hope you guys get your dolls, or your money back soon!

I've sent her numerous PMs, and Emails. Let's face it...she's not responding. The second she recieved my last payment for the body I bought from her, the PMs stopped.

 

Did all of you pay with paypal? If so open a dispute immediately! I cannot stress this enough. This is not a tiny amount of money that you all spend. If nothing else this will at least get a response since paypal freezes the account right away. And don't let your seller put you off saying it will come in a day or two. If they say they just shipped it wait a decent amount of time to receive it. DO NOTclose any paypal dispute until it is to your satisfaction, NEVER just take your sellers word when they are very sketchy with their pm's. (ie. either you have your item or your money is refunded.) You can always repay the person the amount if your receive your goods after things are settled in your favor.

I had this happen and I got my money back because of their buyer protection. Another time it was amazing how fast my item was shipped after I filed the claim. (I buy a lot on Ebay)

Yes, but with patience you will prevail. There are some very good sellers here on the forums that are extremely reliable, it is terrible that you had to have the problem with your very first doll. I am crossing my fingers that this will be resolved quickly.

 

celyne22 is a friend of mine.

She phone me yesterday and she was totally panicked because of what happens to her.

She has never had any El or other doll you have bought.

Someone stole all her accounts (DoA, paypal...Everything). She has lost everything.

She is very panicked because she doesn't speak english very well (mine isn't better but I can't let her in her actual situation).

She makes all is possible to regulate that as fast as possible. But she can't do anything for you or refound your money because she has never seen it.

I hope that everybody will be refund by paypal as quickly as possible.

She can't even connect here on DoA...

 

I just open a "Item Not Received Dispute" too...I hope i'm get my faceplate soon;(

The thing that I don't understand is that when I look in the profile of Celyne22 to see the selling threads there is nothing for an El or a lusis faceplate... Have this messages been erased? Strange affair...

I am also in a middle of paypal dispute, and paypal is like still investigating. they did not tell me how long it will b after escalating to a claim.

Funny why cant she connect to DOA? she can request for a change of password if she cant get in, and change it immediately. This is serious matter as she could get into trouble, like what happened right now. did she try to contact one of the mods?
How can they have her DOA and paypal account at the same time? How did she lose it? Just curious.

There are many ways one can "lose" one's accounts. The first that comes to mind is "keyloggers" that sometimes come with programs downloaded from non-official sources, and which, basically, capture whathever you type and send it to the person who made the keylogger. That person then has access to anything you logged on while you had the keylogger.

Of course, most of the time, such "hacking" come from trusted friends... who are not so trustful, after all (believe me, I've heard about LOTS of such situations...).

Anyway, just giving some information, I won't take part in the discussion since I know neither side

 

She told me that she has been warned of this problem only yesterday. She alos told me that she has created a new account and that she is waiting for confirmation, but she is not at home for now.

I've only posted here to say what she told me. If you don't beleive it it's your right. I think that the mods and Paypal will do their job.

I was just posting because her english is really awfull... more than mine. That's all. So don't take me into this affair, I have nothing to do with it. Thank you.

Hopefully the mods will be able to clear this up. I believe vBulletin allows them to trace an ID's IPs, so they'll be able to compare Celyne22's older posting IP to the latest used to send her PMs to you guys, and see if it's the same "Celyne22" or not.

This one is mine, and I don't have sell her. Someone on Doa PM me about her and want to know if I've sell her ton someone else in France, or if I use another username. I told her that I didn't sell her, and this was a scam.

 

I support also celyne which is not a liar and not a robber, I never had any concern with it, the poor one is completely disabled , we thank esthy & lulla to try to solve the mystery and we understand also the members of doa who were victims of the false celyne22

In this instance, the emphasis should not be on how credible the supposed seller is, becuase we KNOW she is not the actual seller.

It would be better to concentrate on finding the person responsible, and getting refunds for the people who need them.

To those of you who know the real celyne22: Tell her to call the police, and also her ISP. This person is commiting fraud, and she needs to have them stopped quickly. Her ISP should be willing to help track anyone who has accessed her accounts, and could help provide evidence for a conviction.

 

I've post pics of my Winking lusis for people who receive mail about him, because the scammer tried to sell her, i hope nobody "bought" her from him...

Those of you having trouble: Did you pay via credit card? I ALWAYS pay via credit card because if paypal can't get my money back (which they frequently can't, because paypal will only recover your money if the seller has money actually in their *paypal* account) you can open an investigation with your credit card company. It's called a 'chargeback' and I've had to use it twice in about six years on ebay due to scammers.

WARNING: Paypal REALLY doesn't like it when you do a chargeback because then they're out the money instead of you, and they'll send you nasty "You should have let us handle it" notes, but I'd say getting a nasty note from paypal is worth 600+ dollars.

 

One annoying thing i encountered many times when i email paypal about my dispute problem is, "we're sorry we cant reply due to increase of volume, pls call this number". right now the dispute still stuck in investigating mode :/ i'm like on the other side of the world and they cant make the situation better. i hope the imposter can be caught, though i feel this is slim. remember guys, be more careful with your pws and invest in com security as we all buy online a lot. the good thing about my sis's cc is that it studies the spending pattern or something. if it gets charged on something she wouldnt normally buy, or that its way out of her location or at amount she wouldnt normally spent on, theyd call her.

 

Just as a thought to pass on to the police- this is a skilled scammer, who has done research and know the value of these dolls and has gone out of their way to go unnoticed, by not posting stolen pictures in the public forums, but only via PM.

Like others said, celyne22's account has been hacked. I don't think she's responsible.

Obsiously the scammer is someone who knows the french BJD collectioners as I post there too!

In the meantime, we do strongly encourage all members who have bought from her to contact their banks and local law enforcement authorities, and appeal to Paypal for refunds as soon as you can.

 

OK I have to join this thread. I am very sad to say I have been ripped off too!
I prayed this would never happen again as I had this happen in the past and it still leaves a bitter taste. This is the face I was buying strangly I wanted it blank and was sad the makeup had to be removed but the price seemed right. She said she painted it herself, I contacted her about 6 days ago as I hadn't heard from her she said she had just had a baby and couldn't make it to mail it. However said she would give me tracking on monday. I never got the tracking.

The makeup reminded me of evenstars and I mentioned that to her. However not sure who's this pretty girls is. How sad. I have also filed but I heard that if there is no money in their account you dont' get a refund is this right? I hope not. Should I phone too? wonder if that would help at all I doubt it.
