I am not too concerned over my commission - the doll it is for won't be here until May at any rate - but a public update would be nice.

 

I've been trying to get an update about my commission too, so it's good to know she's okay.

Let's hope she stops in to say hi soon.

Has anyone been able to get in touch with Becca?

She hasn't responded to my PM and she doesn't have the email capability enabled.

I'm hoping she's just caught up in the end of the semester upheaval (which I am too) and not that something bigger has happened.

 

I hope everything is O.K. with her. She said she was mailing my commission 3 weeks ago (I've been waiting over 2 months) and I still haven't received it. Worried.

 

Hmm, that is worrying. Hopefully it is something as simple as stressful school work.

 

I hope everything's ok too! She had done a commission for me as a trade which she said was sent out months ago but it's never arrived. Since it seems to be lost in transit I pmed her a week or so ago about commissioning her to remake the items since I really looked forward to them. I haven't heard anything back from her...

It is disappointing, but on the other hand maybe a dispute will get her attention? But yes, if she did send something out around the time she said, it should have arrived at your home by now.

 

I had two shirts she mailed a while back, but after two weeks they still hadn't arrived. She did however remake them and they got here ok! Maybe she's having tests at school now? (I don't know if she's a college student, but most around here are having exams.)

 

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping is the problem-- that she's just busy with school. It is finals time.

I ordered a leather jacket from her a while ago, mid-February, but it was with the mutual understanding that it would take her a while. The leather had to be ordered and I knew it would take a while to get to her and that it was a big project so I haven't pressured her about it at all. But not hearing from her at all is really beginning to make me nervous.

I PM'd her again yesterday. Has anyone else tried to PM her recently?

 

Please do.. I really hope she gets in contact with you guys and you get your things. I'm really hoping she did actually send out my items when she said she did as well. I'm starting to wonder though since your items haven't arrived either. I hope it's just her being busy and nothing to worry about, although I don't think I'll ever see the shirt and hoody I really wanted.

 

I do hope she is ok...but I have been waiting since October for a pair of pants and family problems came up and that was fine and then her accident, and she said she shipped them out and they never showed so she said she would make another pair for me and send them out. I also had ordered another sweatshirt during one of her sells. I just wanna check up on that.

 

Oy, I'm getting worried. I have quite a few shirts that my boy is waiting for.

Now I'm starting to get worried, since there's quite a few of you who were told the items were shipped and you never received them. I send out parcels all the time and have never had anything lost in the mail. It's a rare thing to happen, so why is it that it happens so much with her?

 

I know Im not involved, but maybe someone could try contacting her through ebay? She's been getting feedback all through april up until yesterday even, and she has some stationary listed.

Words cannot explain how I'm feeling right now...... actually they can, and I could get in trouble with my *potty mouth*. I feel very disrespected.....

 

I've already posted but since my post I have become ASTOUNDED at what is happening here. I didn't realize so many people were going through the same thing. I've been very frustrated and feel a bit betrayed as I've been told twice my items were being shipped and they never really were. I want to say anything derogatory towards Becca but the more people piling up in this thread with this issue, the more seroius issue becomes.

 

I did send her a message via E-bay. No response as of yet.

I'm very disconcerted about this whole thing. None of her actions on this board led me to suspect anything like this from her. All her feedback is stellar and she's been a member for awhile.

I really hope there is nothing seriously wrong with her.

 

I also commissioned some items before her family troubles and I was also told they had been shipped but were lost. Just like with Gothicwing she promised to redo the commission and ship it but I haven't received any further contact.

I hope she gets in contact soon and nothing is wrong.

 

I've now sent her *two* messages via E-bay and no response to either one.

The time limit for me to file a paypal claim has passed. So I'm losing money if Becca doesn't turn up; this is so disappointing.

Guess I should probally explain my whole situation with Becca..
Back in October I sold her a doll, but she didn't have enough for shipping. We made a deal for her to make me a shirt and hoody to make up for that. So I sent her the doll, trusting I'd get the items. I was reeeally looking forward to having them for a meet in Nov., but they didn't arrive. I was once in a while sending her pms asking for an update and would get responses that she was sorry but things came up or she was busy, but that she would make the clothing "tonight" or right away. I believe the last pm I'd received from her was on Jan.13, and then she'd told me she still hadn't made the clothes. I decided to just wait and see if they would arrive.. they didn't. I left it for a long time because I was too angry and disappointed to think about it anymore. Finally, the end of Feb., I posted to her thread asking for an update since I'd been waiting since October. She sent me a pm letting me know she was upset that I'd written that on her thread instead of sending her a pm. We talked, I apologized, and she told me that she had sent it out "ages" ago and I should have received them. (I should add that through this whole time I was telling her it was ok that it was taking so long and I understood the delays... just at this point it was getting ridiculous..) She said that she'd messaged me to let me know they've been sent but I never received that pm.

I recently sent her another pm asking if I could commission her to remake the items and I'd pay for them since I thought the items were lost in the mail. I haven't heard a response yet. Now, though, after reading in this thread how many others have had items "lost in the mail", I'm wondering if my clothing was actually ever made or sent. I know it wasn't a lot of money, but I really wanted the items! It's been depressing seeing her selling things to other people while I'm still waiting! I didn't post anything about this in the feedback area until now, although I did consider it, since she's gotten nothing but good feedback in the past and I thought it was the mail's fault.. I really hope she starts taking care of all these problems!

I was told on April 10 that she had just arrived from Disneyland in Florida for a week with her family, and that my item was going to be shipped in the week. I have tried to get a hold of her through emails and they are just bouncing back.....

I bought alot of items from ebay from her before in the past and everything arrived in a timely manner. I just dont understand why the sudden drastic change? unless something serious has happened "which I really hope not" and that she's okay. She has to understand how many of us are frustrated and dissapointed, for not even getting a respectable response,

When you sell your items, you have to be a good seller and be very responsive. I always do my best in contacting everyone, regardless. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

 

I've had three transactions with Becca, most recent in late January when i commissioned her for a bambicrony sized skirt and shirt. It took a little over two weeks, and was shipped a little delayed, but she said she was busy with school, all my items got here safe. I've haven't had a problem with her, and i truly wish she is ok, and i hope this is not turning into another vanillashine thing, oh man. >< I wish you all the best.

Could you please specify Becca who? There are at least two Becca's here that I now know from reading the post are not who you are looking for because I know we don't do commission work - but I'm sure there are more than just us. User name or last name would help on things like that.

I've sent her two emails via E-bay and she hasn't responded to either one. Where do you go from here? The fact that she hasn't responded to a paypal claim is very disturbing.

I really hope that she's okay. Judging by her feedback this is out of character for her.

 

I know she has good feedback but my issue with her started quite a while ago, so I don't think this behavior is altogether new. My main problem was that she would tell me she would make the items "tonight" or "this week" and wouldn't.. the next pm she would say the same thing and this is since October/2006. I guess I felt that since she got the doll she didn't feel the trade items were important enough to get done for me. Maybe I'm completely wrong in what actually happened in my case, but I don't think I'll ever know.. and I don't think I'll ever get my items.

 

Same...Well for the pants thar I ordered on October 12th '06. I have the PMs saved from her even. The hoodie I ordered the week of March 7th.

Oh, nice. =| I ordered something from her on ebay about ten days ago and have been basically waiting around for some sort of reply message to the two I sent. I guess I'll just do a claim if I haven't heard from her in a couple of days.

 

My mom has been saying im calling the police on her if she doesnt send the pants soon and I have sticking up for Becca because she always said she was making them or said why she hasent. Now I dont know if I will. I really just want my money back from the pants. -____-

 

This is not new with Becca.
I have done business with her before. i won the devil halter top she made through ebay. I also won a red and black msd dress.Those items, I received in a timely matter. I bidded on the red and white skull hoodie with fur but did not win.

She then contacted me and said she could make me one since I had so many bids and did not win. I was thrilled and paid right away, like I always do. She said she would get right on and is already sewing it. 2 weeks pass and I email her asking if its done. She said she sent an email asking for my address so she could mail it off. I never had this problem before though paypal since your addrress is included and I checked for the email. I never got it, but.. I was still trusting and gave her me mail address again.

another 10 days passed and I decided to email her. I emailed her over and over again and no response, so I filed a paypal dispute. She then replied and said she was busy with her family and X-mas, and had mail my stuff awhile ago and that I should have gotten it. She said it must have gotten lost and she would make me another. change my mind a lot and ask if she could make the hoodie red and black instead of red and white. Everything I have brought from her was red and black and I changed my mind about the red/white. That made her suspious which I do understand, but I wasn't trying to steal from her and would have just simply brought another hoodie instead of lying.

I wanted to stay a customer because her stuff is gorgeous and I am not a liar/thief. I tried to assure her of this and she kept accusing me and getting really rude. She said she was making it. a few days later I asked her how it was going. She told me she was not gonna make it and would just give me my money back.

I hade to keep emailing her, I called her (I have her business card), and she wouldn't reply or pick up. Then when she did reply, she was rude and mad that I had emailed her so much and accused her of stealing $30. She said she didn't need my money. I told her I was sorry and just was worried about my money. I couldn't file another claim because I canceled mine and trusted her.

BIG MISTAKE.

She eventually gave me my money back and was childish and sent me about 25 emails all saying the same thing just to get back at me.


I am soo sorry and I hope you all get your money back.

 

Dangnabit, it's bad enough this sort of thing is done by irresponsible people, they shouldn't use my name too. (half LOL half argh...) Sorry for the clueless post!

I ordered one of Becca's grab bags from her back in March and still haven't received it >< I've been extremely patient in waiting as she said she would ship everything out the week of April 12th but I haven't heard anything from her since then nor have I received my clothes ;-; Personally, I'd rather get the clothes then my money back as well because my poor boy needs clothes >< Anyone have suggestion on what to do?

 

Hm, I've also commisioned her in March for two hoodies but I just figured I'd have to wait a while for my clothes to be finished because there were so many other people in line before me. (It's not like I'm in a hurry for them to be finished or anything. That's why I'm still waiting patiently.)

I really hope things will turn out to be alright and that there is a good reason for her absence. Because all these things I'm hearing are worrying me.

 

Yes, please, anyone know what the next step here is? I'm really beginning to think I won't ever see the jacket I ordered.

 

If there are this many people missing items, I would designate someone amongst you to gather information from everyone else. Get the items missing, the value, get details about all the outstanding transactions and PM a mod with the info.

Well, it looks like she has a TON of commisions to finish up or make-up for the "lost ones" very "Urgently" or pay everyone back asap. I cannot believe that this is happening.

I still want to be wrong about this, but it fades even more when others are coming in the open with items that have gone "MIA" for months. Whoa.....

I once commissioned Becca for two different styled shirts before Halloween in October 2006. She did send me two shirts, but both were different from my expectations. I also received both items after Halloween, even though they were for a Halloween outfit for my doll, and she assured me that theyd reach me beforehand.

When I notified her about the errors she made on my tshirts, the replies I received from her were not very pleasant. In the end, I kept her shirts and decided to resell them myself. I was worried if she would refund me the money, since her behavior over PMs did not give me the best reassurance. This transaction was the worse one I have ever had on Den of Angels.

Which was really strange, since I had commissioned her for a hooded sweater before, and our transaction went smoothly. If you check her feedback thread, I also left her gracious feedback for that peaceful transaction.
