Warning Paging awesome_socks15 - banned - resolved via paypal

Sep 26, 2020

    1. Hello, trying to get ahold of awesome_socks15, the conversation between us had been closed and sent a new message to reach her to finish a layaway and still have not heard back from her in order to confirm the last payment.

    2. Hi apologies.
The previous date scheduled for this month's payment was missed, Sept. 8, and there was no communication received and after last month's being late as well, as was told to you then, layaways tend to be very strict with me.
If there was some troubles due to the Pandemic affecting your personal life, a message far earlier in the month with an update would have been appreciated and thus some lax would have been applied to the transaction. However as there was none given, that left me to form my own assumptions.
Considering this would be the 2nd to last payment, if this can be resolved the transaction may be completed.
That being said: An answer with shipping option preference would also be very much needed for this to be finalized in anyway.

      Thank you.

    3. Hello, yes as I apologized for missing that first time, I had sent two payments of 80 that month to cover that missed month and that current month to keep on track but I hadn’t heard back thatd you’d received them in Aug. so I just kept on track with it. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience I caused you, I have normally kept loyal with layaways I’ve ever done so the situation that time had really caught me off guard with forgetting.

Also I went back to check and you are correct, I didn’t respond with shipping, if I could have the original box and with cushions that would be great. And I could send the final payment with shipping the 7th of October.

    4.
    5. PMed!

    6. Let me know what the final shipping and payments would be, as well. I can send you my address to you through DM and I will send the final payments.

    7. @awesome_socks15 I hope to hear back soon, I apologize to run the thread up, I just would gladly send you the remaining monies and shipping for the Soom box and bedding option now and please let me know if you received the $80 I sent to you I believe last week. Thank you!

    8. Seller finally reached out, but has radio silence once again since asking for COA proof and options for shipping after providing address which I blacked out

      DoA - Album on Imgur

    9. Since legitimacy seems to be the main issue here, and is now turning into if it's even in my apartment: Previous owner of the doll is @Psycho Sukafu .
The doll in question and as stated in the sales post itself, was purchased from her and she lives in my city. Considering the accusatory statement seems to be over if the doll's a legit or not, but only after they missed a payment on their end of this transaction and never informed me about any life events delaying the transaction, considering this doll's a second hand purchase there would be a deep appreciation of not passively implying or questioning my consistency as a seller.
The transaction itself was in person, so there's no feedback here on DoA. As with most of the items up for sale in the threads here that were purchased at the local meets.
I don't purchase dolls second hand unless I trust the quality of the person selling the doll anymore, so you may take that with a grain of salt if you'd like.

If the buyer would prefer a refund on their last payment considering it fell outside the originally planned layaway agreement, an answer by the end of the day would be preferred so this can be ended/resolved, it would be muchly appreciated.

    10. @Peachy has escalated this transaction to a paypal claim on all previous payments except for the downpayment.
Considering there was no response on a shipping quote or if they'd even like a refund on the last payment, it seems my answer was indirectly given to me.

My only ending statement on all this is that its listed on the sales threads that all agreed upon layaway payments are nonrefundable.

    11. Upon further indepth review of the paypal claim, @Peachy is currently claiming that not only did she finish her layaway and paid for shipping, but that also the doll isn't in my care nor was it sent out. They're also stating they made 4 payments but only claiming the 3 outside the downpayment.
It should be stated that paypal doesn't refund layaway payments and that claims can only be made on the last transaction sent, which was actually going to be refunded to them if they actually could message me like a civilized adult and communicate.

I don't care for an explanation at this point in time from them. Paypal can decide the claim and the transaction's effectively called off here.

If allowed, once this thread is closed there'd be a preference on leaving feedback for them.

    12. @awesome_socks15 hello, I was dealing with this as responsibly and possible up until the point of the abrasive response of simply asking for a photo of the coa which your listing said was included. When you verified you did not have this, I no longer felt safe completing this transaction which is a violation of false information and was confirmed for me on that matter and that. I do not wish for this to continue on and so the reason I did not claim the remaining one was because it was sent as a FF and didn’t realize, and I know that does not provide buyer protection. It just seems that only thing that has been not maturely dealt with was the sudden reaction to my last request, and although it may be true you buy from trusting people, I’m glad. But stating a doll box is authenticity confirming isn’t correct. And at this point because of all of this, I would greatly ask for a full refund due to this as this was not how I realized you planned to release him to me.

    13. @awesome_socks15 Your sales thread for the doll in question lists twice that the doll will come with CoAs (plural). If the doll does not come with CoA(s) then the listing is misrepresenting what is for sale. This falls under Marketplace Rule 2., "If you don't have it, you can't sell it. Do not sell items that are not in your physical possession."

You cannot list a doll as coming with a CoA if you do not have the CoA in your possession. I think everyone with experience in this hobby knows that lack of CoA can be a deal breaker. If Peachy chooses to back out of this sale she is within her rights as the item was misrepresented. It will not reflect on her Feedback or Marketplace standing.

    14. Considering the Mod Squad has decided to MP ban me for upholding terms on a layaway and paypal's terms of service conditions, this can just be updated when the claim's settled.

    15. @awesome_socks15 Your Marketplace Ban has nothing to do with you "upholding terms on a layaway and paypal's terms of service conditions". Do not misrepresent the reasons given for the change in your MP status.

    16. Thank you to @idrisfynn mod for being involved during this matter on my behalf. As of today, I was able to win the claims on my paypal disputes with this person and reached the desired refund from them as the ending outcome of this thread.

Much appreciation for the assistances and glad to end finally this chapter!
