Ordering Ordering from Soom

    1. I've fallen for Soom's pet doll Toad (which I assume is on topic. If not, I apologise and will remove this post), currently available from Neo Angel Region until 17th January. However, I've got mixed messages as the whether the resin toad eyes (also limited) come with the doll by default, or whether I'd have to order them as an extra. Does anyone know this?

      If I go for it, this will be the first doll I've ordered directly from the studio, rather than purchasing secondhand or via a dealer, so I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me tips on what to expect, and any mistakes I need to avoid making when placing the order.

    3. I saw. I was wondering if they were also supplied with the doll by default, as some sources seemed to indicate they were. Probably a stupid question, but just wondering.

    4. Soom has the tendency these days to make you pay for anything that is pictured if they offer it. So eyes will be a separate charge, so will be the outfit if they are selling it. Besides that, they are easy to order from and also offer layaway.

    5. Thanks @jessholy. What you say basically confirms what I've read on this forum about Soom being one of the easier studios to deal with directly, so a good choice for someone like me!

    6. If you need any help, find the Soom thread for tiny dolls (I believe Toad is small) and there will be lots of fellow collectors who can help! Or just ask here haha! I like what their artists make so I have bought quite a few dolls from them.

    7. Doh! I misunderstood your full question! jessholy is right, Soom always charges separately for all items shown. Their old website had all the options listed on the main doll purchase page, so you could select the eyes/outfit/fantasy parts all on the same page.

      But, Soom is definitely a great company to order directly from! All of my Soom dolls were ordered on Layaway, and all I had to do was go into my account and select the particular payment if I wanted to pay early.
