Ordering Ordering from LoongSoul

I got mine through Mint on Card, an English dealer for LoongSoul: http://www.mintoncardinc.com/

 

Loongsoul does have an English site. http://loongsouldoll.com/index.asp?id=1 I'd just recommend using one of the retailers. The site is mostly in English but it does have some parts in the Chinese characters and so it'd be better to purchase it from a retailer.

I'm personally using Mint on Card as well. I love them and have bought from them before.
There is also Jeeryama on ebay. They are the official ebay retailer of Loongsoul and a lot of other companies. http://stores.ebay.com/dollssinging

The wait period varies. I've heard anywhere from two to six months. But more recently it's been closer to two months. I'm praying for that, because it's only been about half a month since Mint on Card ordered her, and I'm already impatient.

That's the other thing. MoC orders in bunches. So I technically ordered my Loongsoul Michelle on January 11, but they didn't put an order into Loongsoul until January 30th. Usually it's the end of the month when the orders are put in. Where as Jeeryama will order your doll as soon as you purchase and pay from them. They just have a higher shipping rate because you're paying for shipping from China, where as with MoC you only pay shipping from their store to wherever you are.

Hope this helps! I struggled between the two retailers because they both have amazing reviews and have great customer service. It's mainly up to you from here.

 

I'm currently ordering my 70cm girl XinLan from MoC. They are super awesome to deal with. I buy most everything doll related from them these days
It's nice to know that the waiting period for the LoongSoul dolls isn't too long these days either!
I also have a Ringdoll on layaway and he's taking ages to get to the U.S. haha

 

I attempted to order on the English site yesterday, issues with my cart being emptied as I was browsing.

When it came to making my order, it said my PayPal didn't go through. It's listed on PayPal as a pending transaction and not yet showing up in my bank.

Then I tried to log in to keep track of order status later that day, and it said the account I set up during the checkout process didn't exist.

I sent an email to their customer service.
I'll respond back when I have more details. But so far not a smooth process.

 

I want to watch this thread because I was planning on ordering from them next month. Did you call your bank and see if it rejected the payment? The first time I ordered from Soom my bank rejected the PayPal payment. I had to keep a bank teller on the phone while the payment went through. It is a bit of a pain but banks will sometimes be the ones to halt the payment. If it is your bank a quick phone call should clear it up. Did you get an email about the order being placed?

 

So as of today (the following Monday since I ordered over a weekend):

I was able to login on my PC, I still can't access the Loongsoul account on mobile. So at least that's fixed!

Paypal: Says the payment was sent, no updates. (email was sent in confirmation)
My bank: Says there is now a pending transaction with paypal
Loongsoul: Unconfirmed,Unpaid,Unshipped (No email was sent in confirmation of the order)

You might be right about the bank blocking the payment. I'll reach out to them now.
I have yet to get a response from Loongsoul with the email I sent over the weekend.

Update:

My bank says that there is no sign of a decline for that payment and that I should wait until tomorrow morning.
If I see that it was processed through my bank, I should reach out to Loongsoul again and confirm they've collected the funds.
So it sounds like maybe they have to accept my payment?

Either way, my bank said that If they're still saying it didn't work that my bank can get a dispute started and reverse the payment.

So that's what I'll do and keep you readers posted!

 

Apart from Clover-Singing, both Alice's Collection and Legend Doll are dealers for Loongsoul as well.

I've used all three of them many times for ordering from other companies and they've all been great to work with.

 

I ordered through Loongsoul's English website a couple years ago, and yeah, it does the "payment declined" thing even though it does go through. I contacted Loongsoul and got everything processed, but the payment system is weird and definitely freaked me out. I don't think it took too long to hear back from their customer service, so I hope you guys hear back soon. D:

Speaking of ordering through Alice's Collection, you can also contact AC for things like ordering wigs or clothing from LS. (I did that last time because the LS website's payment processing issues weren't worth the headache. )

 

Totally! I love Alice Collections. I decided if I didn't hear back from Loongsoul by Friday I was just going to cancel the order and then order through Alice Collections instead.

Update: I still haven't heard from Loongsoul.
I contacted my bank and filed a dispute which apparently you have to mail something somewhere and it can take like up to 40 days to get my money back.

So yeah I recommend not going through Loongsoul since I'm out $900 now and have to wait to order through Alice Collections now.

 

Oh, wow that really sucks. I hope that you get your money back soon. I thought about contacting them about instock dolls, but now I am really nervous about doing so. I was hoping that they would have answered you back by now. I know the wait through ACBJD is going to be much longer. But it does seem the safer way to go.

In good news I contacted ACBJD and they got back to me within an hour and let me know that they don't have payment issues. So that's the way to go!

 

Oh no. ;o; I hope you get your money back sooner than that and the dispute process goes smoothly... It's pretty disconcerting that you hadn't heard back from Loongsoul by now. I wonder if they're not really maintaining their English site much anymore...

 

I also decided to order from ACBJD this morning.
I know it will take longer to arrive, but I really don't want the hassle that @kogame103 had to deal with.
I ordered Lunar Mansions - Leopard Ji Shui Bao They show them in stock on the official website, but I am scared to order from them now.

 

Update:

I got an email from PayPal that Loongsoul is issuing a refund on the original order! Yay!

Either way I'm content with going through an English site after that.

Hey! I ordered him too! I also got Loong Soul Doll - Cang Jue Human Ver. In the same order because I couldn't make up my mind on which smiling boy to get.

I ordered Cang Jue in NY with faceup through Alice's Collections. He took 6 months to be made and when he arrived, the head was the wrong colour (WS). Alice was great with communicating with Loongsoul and I got the correct colour head sent back in a month. I'm very happy with AC's customer servicre and would happily deal with them again. I hope you enjoy your dolls when they arrive!
