Shipping "Order status: Distributing"

    1. A few months ago I placed an Asleep Eidolon order with LegendDoll, and a few days ago I noticed the order status has been updated to "distributing". Anyone know what this means?

      The "my orders" page on LegendDoll has tabs for "all", "unpaid", "unshipped", "unreceived", and "pending review," and this order is still categorized as "unshipped". So is it like... pre-shipment prep? Receiving products from the company?

      The product page for the doll that is the main part of the order specified it would take "about 90 working days to ship," and I ordered at the end of June, so I think it should be about the right time for it to be shipping... though I'm not sure if that estimate included the time to get from the company to LegendDoll.

    2. So my octo cat says distributing and has for a while. When I emailed legend doll, they said it was because the specialty eye was still being made which was delaying the doll.

      I also have a clothes order that does not say distributing and I have a doll order from miracle doll that does not say distributing.

      Do with that what you will, I think it's a bit arbitrary on our end as buyers because it could mean delay, could mean it's on the way to them, ect ect

    3. Update: I messaged Erica asking what it means and in my case was told "we may ship your order soon."

      So not really a clear explanation, but seems to support the theory that it means items are being gathered and/or that they're waiting on products from the source company(s).
