Only-Doll Discussion Thread [tiny dolls] Part 1

Waitwaitwait... are there three different bodies? I thought the V2 listed on Alice's Collections was the only one, and it has way different elbow and knee joints (the kind with outward circular thingies on the elbow and knees) ...The plot thickens!

On closer inspection you're 100% right, the YouHe has a slightly different body from her siblings. Must be why she was so bad at fitting in her sister's dresses.

 

Oooohhhh I forgot about that! Must be why I thought they sent the wrong body for my other Ran Xue, maybe they replaced the V1 body... it's a shame, because I don't like the chunky one much at all personally... I mean, Cody, My (other) Ran Xue does though xD

I recently bough YouNan from his vey sweet previous owner here in The Marketplace. I absolutely adore him.

My HongXiu was my very first resin doll, and over the years her faceup got damaged beyond repair, so I had to redo/restore it. It went rather well considering I'm not actually a faceup artist. (The design is not mine, I based it on the company faceup she had. The only thing I changed was her eyebrows.)

 

Hey guys~ I've been super out of the loop with DoA for a few months xD both of my Ran Xue's have new faceups, and Ran Xue 2 has been amputated... for diversity's reasons... but I don't have a picture with both of them, so first, here is my beloved first Ran Xue and second doll, Onyx!

I got a YouNan recently, havent decided on a name yet She came with the V2 boy body and I dont love it. Has anyone tried sueding or wiring to help with arm movement?

 

@Cydril She's Normal Yellow, but also probably quite yellowed over time since she's 6 years old now! I love her so much though, and your Younan is adorable!

I have been making eyes at the new Leila sculpt, does anyone have her and is willing to post a pic? I'd love to see owner pics if possible

 

I have had most of Only Doll's tinies on my 'sometime' wishlist for EVER - I'm rather worried by the announcement on Alices Collections that they will be 'restyling' their dolls after August 25th, which is the last date of order 'for now' until they've finished restyling.

Does anyone have both bodies version I and II - which is better in your opinion?

 

Does anyone know what size wig these guys wear? I couldnt find it on their website. Actually I can't even find a seller for these dolls anymore

 

Anyone know what's going on with Only-Doll? I just saw some new 1/8 sculpts under their name on Legenddoll and I can't tell if it's still the same company and it's confusing me.
Oh and @Seasons Final Colours All the Only-Doll 1/6 I've owned fit perfectly in 6-7" wigs. Sorry you got such a late reply.
