    4. Does anybody have a Ting to share picspam of, please? I really love her promo shots on Alice's Collections are her price is nice, but I'd feel uncomfortable buying a doll without seeing a single owner photo.

      It seems everyone has Ting Yun but nobody has his sister :lol:

    5. He's so handsome! His face reminds me of my Doll-Love Hugh. I had no idea the MK boys were so tall --- I own a Lillian and she's tall compared to my MNF gal (then again MNFs are pretty short).

      If I see a Ting on Flickr or something I'll be sure to post a link to the photo(s), MissyMagoo. I can't say I've ever seen one.

    9. When choosing a doll, I usually don't look at his/her company faceup, esp. Chinese ones. Many Chinese companies have... er, kind of awful faceup which makes their babies underrated. Gene and Hugh are the biggest samples. If you look at Hugh's scuplt, you will see that he has a very nice face, and with decent faceup, he will be surely a handsome guy :thumbup

    11. Does anyone happen to know if Doll Love, Mystic Kids or Little Monica's NS would be a good match for Only Doll NS?

      And dammit, I'm in love with Qing Tong now. There are no owner photos anywhere, why is this company so unloved? *sniffle*

      It's also kind of hard to tell because Qing Tong's promo photos are not exactly close up, but it looks like her eyebrows might be turquoise. I'm not sure how great that'd look with a blonde wig. Thoughts?

    13. My two dolls are an Only-Doll Xuan Yan and a Mystic Kids Sean in normal pink skin. Only-Doll has a far more yellow tone to it, not a match I'm afraid.

      I just bought the head of my loved character, Igor. Igor will be an Only-Doll KeXin male hybrid (maybe with Doll Leaves body C: I know the resin colour won't match, but it's okay). ^^ I can't wait to have him, he will be my second doll, and the only doll I bought in the last 4 years :3

      Mine was to shell my oc Ceri, who's a gothic lolita. But she isn't very happy with it. I had been debating between her and KDF Basil to shell her, and maybe I really should have gone with Basil. Acts rather thuggish all the time, I'm probably going to make a delinquent character to match her.

She looks so much different compared to when I received her; I've painted her nails, decided on a shirt, made her some jewelry (necklace/earrings/bracelet/rings), and am *almost* ready to buy her true wig. Oh, and I made her some 1/4 scale donuts because... donuts. I'll snap a photo once she gets her wig.

      Your Gothic lolita girl sounds awesome; I'm sorry the sculpt doesn't seem to be cooperating. KDF Basil is a lovely doll, too, should you decide to buy her. <3

      I only have my Mystic Kids in person to compare my Only-Doll, but I like the body a lot less. It's stiff, yet doesn't hold poses. Maybe it's just because mine isn't happy with her character, but that's my experience.

    38. [MENTION=65662]Marika21[/MENTION] I can't speak for the company as a whole, but at the very least, my Sean came out nicely. I've been looking at Francis and Gene from them as well. They have a nice blend between anime and realistic, as do Only-Doll sculpts.

      Your wallet may suffer, but at least it won't suffer as hard a hit at their price!

    40. Oh, the Mystic Kids minis are lovely, @Marika21 and @Ceri-Ethereal. I own a Lillian, myself (and have Tremmel on my wishlist). :XD:

      In regards to Only-Doll bodies, I have to say my boy's is comparable to minis I have from Dikadoll, Bambicrony, Doll Love, and Dollzone (older version). He holds poses better than my Bobobie/Resinsoul boys but I prefer the bodies of my Loongsoul and Angel Fantasy dolls (both amazing posers --- I think they pose as well if not better than my MNF!). I'd probably rank MK above OD in terms of body, too, but only slightly.

      I would say I have too many minis but IMO that's not possible. ;)

      Are there any matches to Only-Doll's normal pink resin in your crew? I'd like to get jointed hands for all my dolls, if possible. Especially for my KDF Basil someday. (I know Luts offers different hands, but I'd really like jointed ones.)

    42. Thanks, @Ceri-Ethereal. And yes, I'm blessed to have so many dolls. Luckily I tend to fall for those made by obscure/"cheaper" companies (although $200 is *still* hard for me to come by atm) so that helps. :XD:

      I'll double check the XuanYan I'm working on; she's a few years old and I think she mellowed while she was with her first owner so any comparisons I may find for you may not be 100% accurate. Off the top of my head I'm sure she doesn't match my Mystic Kids NS-P girl BUT she may be close to my Dikadoll NS-P, Doll Love NS-P, or Angel Fantasy's old NS-P. :thumbup

    43. @Ceri-Ethereal I compared the XuanYan's headcap to my dolls and it's a very close match to my 2013 Doll Love NS-P and 2013 Dikadoll NS-P. Neither my Doll Love boy or Dikadoll girl is yellowed at all. I hope this helps you!

      How interesting. I read somewhere that Dikadoll's pink resin (for their jointed hands) matched well with Mystic Kids. Yet, Mystic Kids doesn't match well with Only-Doll. Could your Dikadoll have been a different batch color?

    45. That's possible, @Ceri-Ethereal; my Dikadoll and Mystic Kids are two years apart (one is from 2013 and the other is from 2015) so that may explain the difference. Mystic Kids wouldn't be a *bad* match by any means, but the MK girl I have is a shade pinker.

      Also, this XuanYan was made in 2012 and she's mellowed a bit; a new Only-Doll in NS-P may match Mystic Kids perfectly.

      Would you like me to take a photo of the headcaps together? I'd be happy to if that would help.

      Both my Only-Doll and Mystic Kids arrived in March this year. The two of them are normal pink, yet Only-Doll's has a far more yellow color. (I really hope I wasn't given normal yellow on accident.) They're nowhere near a match. Hmm. Perhaps she'll get pinker with age? (I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible.)

      That would be so kind of you if you could, so sorry for being a bother.

      Hmm. Maybe Only-Doll NS-P is just naturally more yellow? I know my Angel Fantasy NS-P gal has more yellow than other NS-P tones (interestingly enough Angel Fantasy has since changed their NS-P to make it "more pink").

      And you're not a bother at all so please don't apologize. :)

    55. Finished the Xuanyan I've been working on for the past few months. Sent her to my friend as an early Christmas gift and he absolutely loves her! (I was nervous---never made a BJD for someone else before!)

      Anyway, I took a few photos of her before I shipped her to her new home. Thought I'd share them here to help others considering the sculpt.
