My Only-Doll Xuan Yan head is here. I'm happy I got her ( I regretted her because I wanted Ruodie more) but she's so beautiful! Only thing is the body I bought her is not a good match...and I can't get the head on XD

Snowy XD two is always better than one! Mwahahahaha! The face-up was actually done by Maiya here. His default faceup was similar (well, sort of), but the colors were a bit darker.

X.x Must check if I'm not going to shift sculpt after all, because he's supposed to be a character doll... Damn Only-Doll for making so pretty sculpts... >3<

On a side note: How is the body posing? Since there are only few owners of Only-Dolls here, I have been unable to find much information so far.

 

Snowy Ahhhh the body... the body stands perfectly fine, and the head movement is okay as well. But when it comes to sitting, the body always wants to lean forward. He can't sit up at a 90 degree angle. He'll always be leaning forward. He kneels pretty fine though, but the arms have pretty limited movement despite them being double jointed. .__. I'm okay with it since I don't pose them most (I'm mostly in love with the face ) but if you're planning on posing them a lot, you might wanna think hybrid.

Oh, fun fact! They have feminine hips. >.> Which I thought was really weird.

That's good to know. Have you tried hotglue sueding so he could possibly sit up straight? Or might he be not strung tight enough?
Also any idea what would make a good hybrid for NS-Y? I guess I'll just have to wait... Or order only heads... maybe... and see what I can hybrid it with...

Feminine hips? O.o I guess I need to check the bodies agian. That didn't catch my attention the first time around...

@HoushiChan: I have another question! ... What wig size do you use for your boy. 7-8 or would a 7 be better? A friend of mine orders some wigs with for my doll soon and they do have the option of making it a 7, so I want to make sure the wig really fits since it's a special color (dark green).

 

Oh! I bought him thinking it was an Only-Doll head, but you're right, he's actually a Doll-Love sculpt! Whoops...

 

Snowy I use a 7-8 wig but I'm sure a 7 wig would work too. If I try, I can actually fit a 6-7 wig on my boy, so a 7 should work as well. 7-8 is just a tad loose for my tastes.

I don't understand how to order a doll?
The price in yuan is 890 and it makes $144.39
But there nothing about makeup, choice for skin color...

Do you know what i hve to do?

Beautiful-Dolls is a retailer on ebay, Alice Collection also has them from my knowledge.

 

Dropping in to introduce my boy Robin, on the left in this pic. He's a Han-Bi whose eyes I modded open a little. I used to have an AoD boy as this character, but after a couple of mod jobs and a lot of faceups he was looking a little worse for wear, so I blushed this head to match his body (I had bought the doll for the NS-P body, which was a perfect match for my DiM Alpon head.)

 

@solitary agent: *0* He's very pretty! Is that his default FU or did you that? Either way, I really like him

Thank you! I did his faceup. And yup, Paul is my CH Little Junior Mars. He's on a Soom little gem body, though.

Hi, I'm new, in both BJD world and DenofAngels.
At the moment I have only one doll named Akira-chan (is saving to buy my little Acchan a partner). His original name is Ting Yun from Only Doll.
I met him the first time on ebay and immediately fell head over heels in love with him, so he became my first choice when I decided to buy myself a BJD. And he surely didn't disappoint me He's just too cute for words
Here is my Akira-chan, he plays his part as both a boy and a girl, haha, as you see, his face is even cuter than girl's so I just can't help but make him cosplay a little bit.

But I feel sorry for him, I just want him to be a normal boy so have made a lot of boyish outfits for him, but then my younger sister asked me to make some girl dresses (she's in love with lace and all), and boom, now he's forced to wear girly outfit like this = =" now all my friends think that he is a girl .
Ah, your XiYu is cute too, I like his face, is considering between him and one in Iplehouse for Acchan's partner. Only doll has nice face, but its body is kind of limited for some poses, esp when it sits, which is such a pity >.<

 

I love Only-doll but I liked Yue-er, anyone got owner pic of her? Saving up for her too

has anyone else had problems posing? when I got my girl in she was so tight that she sent the S-hook into my finger when I tried to put her head on (I'm hybriding the body) I love how pretty it is and the resin feels really nice but I can't get her to sit up unaided. :<

 

Just wondering if anyone will be ordering from the event? I really like Ting a lot! Does anyone know what skin color she might have in the pictures?

Ting to me looks like White or Normal Pink. I'm unsure with the blushing on the face

 

I just got a Han Bi hybrid off eBay. Excited to do my own faceup on him, maybe a little visual kei or k-pop look.

My RuoDie came the other day! She's my first so I'm super excited, she looks wonderful! Please excuse the crooked wig - I fixed it later but didn't take more pictures. I'm not sure of a name yet! I know someone else was looking for RuoDie owner pictures, so here you go!

 

Hey everyone! I've been looking at this thread since last October, and it helped me a lot in picking my first doll. Here he is, my Ting Yun, because there aren't enough Ting Yuns in the world already:



His name is Taylor for now, though I'm not sure he's going to keep it. I like it, but it doesn't seem to click that well. Bleh, naming dolls, y u so hard??
I got him with his fullset, as you can see. I like it a lot, but I desperately need to get him a more manageable wig and clothes, both for the sake of this outfit's wellbeing and me actually being able to carry him around the house.

Cosiala, your Ruo Die is pretty neat! Did you order through Alice's Collections, by any chance?

 

My BiYan is here. I have absolutely no clothes for her, but she was happy to meet her family. (even though her girlfriend's still just a floating head)

 

I got Oliver (Han Bi) some new clothes, though it looks more steampunk than k-pop he can make it work. His eyes were modded open before I got him. Current faceup by me.

 

My BiYan will be here tomorrow! I'm so excited!!

I love her soooo much. I'm pretty much in love with most of Only-Doll's sculpts (and outfits!!) and I'm hoping I can budget starting a layaway on one of the other girls on my list while the event is still going on!

 

i was going to get a RuoDie awhile back, but I decided not to. I still think she's super cute though!

I haven't taken a photo of my BiYan for a while (I'm in the north so daylight's pretty limited in the winter) but I realized I forgot to show her off more tidied up and in the dress I made her.



It's not 100% done, I want to add a corset-like overcoat/vest thingy (I don't know what the proper name is)

 

I honestly don't know.. she'd been out for a while when I bought her. I think she was just overlooked a lot because the wig really isn't flattering (in my opinion, anyway) and her eyes look pretty far apart in the promotional photos, but I don't think she's that old either. I'm just not 100% sure.
