One Very Late Introduction - Hello! ^_^

Hello to everyone~!

This is a super late introduction! I've been interested in BJDs and the community for about seven years now. I couldn't ever quite jump in and get started due to a lot of big life changes, moves, and resettles; but I am finally happy to be hunting artists and researching for my first faceup. I am very much looking forward to the journey and beyond excited to finally hit the ground running with my first doll. He is a very special gift from a family member - one of the few folks that really encouraged me to pursue this hobby, and has some experience in it too. My grandmother has also been supportive as a doll collector for several decades, but sadly she doesn't collect BJDs.

I live on the west coast in the USA, and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can while I gather tools, materials, and build an entirely new workspace to house this interest. It's great to meet you all!

 

Thank you! It's honestly been the best birthday gift I've ever gotten. Once I get situated and figure out what I'll be doing with him, I'll be thrilled to share him here. It's hard to decide, as I'm discovering that the possibilities feel endless
