Ok.... I'll take the first step off the line with...

OMG I would so love it if Dollshe would re-release their tiny Moon.... I have wanted her for EVER and always seem to just miss her. It would be my ultimate moment if she was made available again

 

While we're talking about Dollshe wishes...

I WISH Dollshe would re-release their older female sculpts. I want an Afghan like BURNING but they are so hard to find it is insane! Afghan coming back would kind of make my millennium.

 

I have a lot and I am a greedy, greedy, demanding person.

A line of mature, realistically proportioned dolls with varied body types, varied resin color options with good aging, clean and pretty joints (good posing a great plus but not required), beautifully detailed body sculpts, and wig, eye, shoe, clothing and scaled-furniture sizes that are easy to shop for, somewhere within the range of 42cm-52cm. Oh, and matching to-scale teen and kid lines.

It's a lot to ask for, hahaha, but since I've always wanted my collection to be small and my 'main' family of dolls to be from the same company so that they all match aesthetically, it's what I'd searched for in vain since I got into the hobby. It's kind of a unicorn to me for now. Since it doesn't and probably won't exist for a while, I settled on other plans that still make me quite happy!

But it really would be nice to see any company try and have more body type options, when there are so many head options, and more than just bust size or super-muscular versus normal-muscular. More lean, athletic female body types could really be sexy!

Oh, and a few relating to clothes... I'd love to see more hanbok and Korean traditional clothing in general in the market, including their shoes! There are very few, despite there being so many Korean BJD companies and so many yukata and Chinese-inspired clothes and whatnot out there! More traditional cultural clothing in general from around the world. Would also love to see more true lolita BJD outfits, or at least in the MSD size I don't see them often. Oh, and maybe a BJD cosplay specialty shop.

A BJD super-mall with brick-and-mortar stores for every major BJD brand out today all side by side. Hahahaha, now that's really dreaming big.

Related to this, I really wish I could see the selection of urethane eyes and various options like pupil colors in person before committing so much time and money to it. I might realize it's a shade off from my ideal color or it doesn't look good in my doll combined with its wig and faceup or anything else the moment it's in my hand and bam, I'm screwed. For expensive eyes more than anything I feel this way about, because it's so completely dependent the subtleties of light, threading, size in the eyewells, and things you just can't tell from pictures. =(

I would die for Dollmore to make their gachae wig accessories in size 6-7 for my Korean-themed doll.

A doll stand that doesn't look weird or feel awkward to use.

A way to reliably clean the toughest crevices of doll heads without a freaking exacto and acetone. Easily the most nightmarish part of faceups for me by 1000x. Related to this, no chance of staining resin from faceups and blushing. I'll put down three separate layers of MSC or Dullcote until the head is shiny immediately after spray, no joke, and somehow I'd still end up with three microscopic black paint chips that won't come out even with acetone. Again, exacto, to carefully scrape them off. Heart-stopping!

Resin that didn't discolor over time or through sanding.

If I could get BlueFairy's tiptoe feet and new hand option parts in their old resin color to match my older girl.

I doubt this list is even done for me. I'll probably come back later with even more, hahaha. I love wishing for more, more, more and better, better, better!

Oh. . . something more hobby specific but also unlikely; a re-release of Soom Bix (and the money to buy him). A 1/3 scale Arcadia and a place to keep it? Well, how about something possible. . . a body for Harlock. He's pirating one at the moment.

 

I'd love a real BJD store in my country. Somewhere with a good selection of stock where I could take my dolls and actually try things on to see if they fit before buying.

 

I'd really love it if they would re-release Unoss.

Or more realistically I'd be over the moon if Volks made Melty (or any elf) a basic head sculpt. I blame Onomatopoeia for my newest unrequited dolly love. >_>

 

I wish Doll Château would create more dolls like Ada.

 

I don't have a lot of real wants in this hobby right now, but I do wish Dollmore would give the Adam line a little more attention. Clothes that fit would be nice. And I would give my left (doll) arm for a Dollpire Kara Klum. He can even be grey! I'll take grey! I don't want grey, I want white, but grey would be fine! I just want fangs!! Or an open mouth. Or an open mouth with fangs! And closed eyes.

I would also like some company to make a bigger guy that's not insanely muscley. Guys can be big and not ripped. Not everyone spends every waking moment in the gym, they don't all have to be Superman or professional wrestlers. There seems to be way more variety in girl bodies, but guys are either skinny, or the Hulk. :\

 

TTUTT I, too, as a kara klum owner, wish for a re-release or him in white. I've been searching for his open eyed white skin head but never can seem to catch him. ;3; there's only 15...it'll probably never happen.

My truest dolly wish? Maybe for the LLTsculptor's health to return!

 

I wish Dollmore would make a male Trinity-sized doll. I'd even settle for a male Lusion doll.

 

I have two.

I wish Batchix would re-release Alpha, or produce a sister for her that I could buy. With some dolls, you just don't know how fabulous they are until you hold one in your hands, usually years too late. ( your robot girl, Batchix)

I wish a doll company would produce some MSD guys that actually look like small men, not boys. I would even settle for some mature heads to fit on Iple or Lati Blue bodies, and it's not the heads so much as the little boy faces. You can put beard stubble on a boy and he still looks like a boy. I don't want small fashion dolls, like the C-lines, with tiny heads, but a mature MSD scale guy whose head is a compatible size with a stylized MSD Bambicrony girl.

I'm beginning to think I may have to sculpt one myself, which is a lot of fuss and bother. Ok, rant over.

 

I wish Latidoll would make a tan Yellow sized Byurl. I love that sculpt so much but, I want him in tan!

 

My biggest doll dreams/wishes right now:
- Two properly proportioned jointed Friesian horses in black resin, with mohair mane and tail, big enough to look realistic with a 65-70cm doll.
- That Iplehouse would sculpt a taller male SID body
- That some other companies would start making resin colors that match Iple PG.

 

I would like more options to buy just hooves/legs for dolls, instead of having to buy a whole doll for them.
I would also like more manly dolls. Like stronger features rather than the soft girly-boy looks that most companies have.
Oh and I would also really like more curvy girl dolls. Like with thicker arms/legs/hips. ^_^

 

If this is really WISHING time, then I may as well wish for something really improbable.

I wish I could find an affordable Dollshe Bermann on the DS18M Rhythmos body on the marketplace at a time when I could afford to spend money on him. I don't care which facial expression, I don't care what specific skin color so long as it's not tan (Becuase his vague character is very pale) and hell, I don't care if a dog chewed up his precious face, if that's what makes him affordable I'll restore him with epoxy and sanding!

But if we're asking for things that could actually happen?

I wish more companies would sell bodies and heads separately, as well as individual parts for when people want to make more complex hybrids.


I feel like I have a lot more I want to wish for, but I can't remember right now... I wish I could remember what to wish for!

 

I wish Fairyland would release Dark Elf Soo in Feeple60 size.

I also wish Soom would have another Free Choice Event where Vesuvia and bronze skin are both options.

Also wish Soom would release their Mad Hatter in normal skin, with a human body.

 

I wish there were more sculpts that looked older! Like, let's say, men and women in their mid-forties to fifties.

I wish there were a few chubbier body sculpts, not too chubby just a little over what we consider normal for doll bodies at this point either more round all over or pear-shaped, curvaceous, without teeny tiny disproportionate waists...

And last, but not least, I wish there were nice fantasy option parts like hooved or pawed legs, wings, tails, horns, the whole package, offered by more companies and as standalone parts as well.

 

Main wish: I wish for a brick and mortar store & cafe (like the Nine9 Style cafe in Korea) in the Bay Area (we have just about every thing else here). It would be wonderful if in addition to selling clothing, props, tools; had a dolly clothing "rental" option where you could rent an outfit for a doll meet or photos. And the store would even have an option to "buy back" gently used clothing or dolls on consignment like thrift shops/consignment stores.

I would also love a M-Cute version of Migidoll's Miho someday. I like Mir, but Miho has been my favorite forever.

 

I would be so happy if Elfdoll made a Tiny Monnaemi Brother. I like Hiro very much, but I hope for a little real boy sculpt to go with my Bong Sun Hwa

 

A brick and mortar store would be fantastic! While we're dreaming : clothes that don't cost an arm and a leg.

 

Maybe if we wish hard enough Dollmore will bring back the WS Karas!? XD
And you never know...I grabbed my 2nd WS OE head off the MP for a steal! You might get lucky!

 

I wish Soom would modernize the old Mecha Angel bodies and make all new glorious 80cm fantasy creatures in a rainbow of colors! I would love more 80cm dolls in general, especially girls.

I would also like more body type variety for both males and females. I would love slight, 60cm boys that are as realistic as the big guys. And big guys that aren't all buff muscle men, and curvy girls in a variety of heights.

I also really wish that someone made short, curly wigs!

 

I would soar to cloud nine if Iplehouse offered a wider range of body options with better posing, and more slender physiques. I would also love to see Soom offer new basic Super Gem sculpts and bring back their most popular limited sculpts. Oh, and if Withdoll released a 60cm version of Priscilla I would probably shed tears of joy.

 

I wish Doll Chateau would release a yosd sized version of their new kid doll body style. The male body is perfect for a character I really want to do.
My dream would be a Colin head on the new male kid body -but in yosd size! All I'd need to do is add some elf ears and -finally, FINALLY have my dream come true!

 

Perhaps it is a pipe dream now but i wish Luts would sell the tan Lishe again with normal hands or make the normal hands available in tan.

I wish i could afford to buy someone's dark chocolate Iplehouse Taregan because I really love his look.

I wish Unidoll would open again so I could get one more Jace and perhaps a few others if a little taller. To me the unireal sculpt was awesome.

I also wish or the more companies selling a greater amout o separate parts.

Finally, I wish more companies offered layaway so I wouldn't watch the lovelies I want slip out of my grasp.

Volks USA to do a 'traveling faceup class tour and mini-doll-party' in 5-6 US cities on several weekends.

 

There is this trend in our hobby, and it comes eith having so many artists, is that we as an audience continue to move forward in many directions, so that we as collectors have access to more varied and newer body types (I want fat dolls of both sexes, and not just plump! And more slim mini and tiny bodies! Old dolls! mature dolls! And slim males without lots of muscles!), more monster dolls (the beautiful and scary, like the violin shaped art dolls you see sometimes!), more influence from the EBJD aesthetic, which I am slowly falling in love with. I really want this trend to go on forever. I love the focus on the more historical clothing we've been seeing (more like medieval Europe, pre-1800s) and I also hope THAT goes on forever.

But! The very one thing I'm missing, in this entire hobby, is a shelf full of purple or violet skinned dolls, especially in the 57cm range and below. I have arthritis, and recently, big dolls over this size have become too much for me to hold comfortably. I've let go a lot of purple gems in the past. I would love more! Especially as a colour option that is not limited. Right now, I'm really lusting for a Cerisedolls Lyse in a light lavender or violet. I would love a smaller version of her, too! Or for more Satines to be released. Innnn purple.

We've seen so many companies adopt grey resin, so I'm hoping violet isn't that far behind. Make every doll in my first paragraph that way, and I'll be dead and in heaven.

Edit: Also. Two words: Red dolls. I'm so serious. Red like scarlet, red like sunburn, red like bricks and blood. And green! Imagine all the ~THINGS~ I could make? Doll horns, too! Dolls with horns! I'm getting a bit out of control now, though.

 

I would be on Cloud Nine if . . . Minawa Aya-sensei would get back into BJD sculpting! *sooooooo easy, me*

 

I wish I could get hold of Slim MSD sized fantasy outfits.
I wish more companies would offer more resin colours especailly tan and dark grey.
I wish there was a brick and mortar doll store near me too!

I want to give some of my dolls hooves. I don't want to buy a bunch of dolls for it, and then have to find homes for legless dolls.

I wish that Fairyland would make Feeple 60 Celine and Shushu, and that like Luts they would make tan a regular option.

I wish that Volks would release a tan SD17 Williams, and add SD17, SD16 girl and SDGr girl to the FCS line up. I also wish ebony resin was an FCS option because I would love an SDGr body for my Irvin.

And my crazy wish/delusion of all... that I would actually come across a Bermann one day and be able to afford him.

 

I'm going to second sleep_pattern's sentiment--I wish Volks would offer SD16/Gr/17 dolls through their FCS line!

 

I wish Fairyland would release some dolls with fantasy parts like a super-poseable Mermaid or robots!

 

YES to this! That would be amazing!

 

I wish Volks (most likely) or any company would come out with a series of Vocaloid & Utauloid dolls with respective heights to each of the characters. This would include non-singing characters like Haku and Neru who are nevertheless official to the family. Still, if they did that, by the time I bought all the characters I would want, it would cost me more than the price of my house

 

So many things to wish for...

Fairyland to offer tan skin as a normal option, A Feeple60 Rheia (or re-release of the Delf If sculpt), MiniFee Breakaway as a possible head in the a la carte, Feeple60 Elf Karsh as an a la carte option, the Feeple neckpiece for sale like they sell the MNF neckpiece so to be able to hybrid my Feeple/Type 2-3 Delfs more easily. More companies to offer head/body/fantasy part options as separates. High heel shoes for MSDs. More mature MSD boy faces so that I can have my mini boys that are supposed to be in their late teens/early twenties actually look the part. A curvy, semi-muscular, poseable lady body in the 53-55cm range that will magically fit/match old Fairyland resin. A muscular, poseable guy body in the 55-56 range that will fit an SD head and magically match InfinitiDoll resin. A BJD store in the Chicago area (or even Milwaukee) that I could visit on a regular basis and try things on, see things in person, etc.

 

I wish for one specific Switch Soseo that belongs to a member here... I love him, he is perfect in every way for the character I want to embody. But I would not want to deprive the other person their beautiful dolly either. I'll have one like him someday. If I can ever find one at the same time I have the money.

That's what would put me on cloud nine.. if we ALL had the dolly money we need to have what we want! Is that too much to ask?

 

This is my wish as well, but let's take it one step further! I'd probably be in the minority here but I think a senior citizen BJD would be a blast. Otherside BJD did produce a "grandma" sculpt called Dione, but I mailed the artist and she's not available commercially.

Overall though, my biggest wish would be a nice, big display cabinet that is a) affordable and b) fits in with the rest of my furniture.

 

That would also be quite wonderful in my opinion *U* the move variety the better! Plus all the possibilities...

 

I wish Soom would have a Free Choice Event with all their resin colours, not only white, normal and bronze. With all sculpts we want.

 

It would put me on cloud nine to simply get all my existing dolls figured out (in my mind's eye and then in the flesh) -- for something concrete, I would love it if every time I wanted a super specific color + style of wig I would just magically find it for sale! Affordable! And perfect! That would be lovely!

I might be on cloud nine if every company with a-typical sized dolls (some examples) LoongSoul (referring to their busty females), LeekeWorld (referring to their art bodies) would release limited outfits every single month that fit their special sculpts. Wouldn't that be wonderful? To actually find clothes!

But what mostly does make me absolutely thrilled with the hobby is the way it lets me express myself, learn new crafts for my dolls, and occasionally make really wonderful lasting friendships with other great doll people! I don't have too many complaints here.

 

I'd be on cloud nine if a money tree appeared in my backyard with an endless supply of doll funds to purchase all the dolls I want..lol.
Would love more fantasy dolls or fantasy parts to purchase separately, more like having the human parts as the options or extra not the other way around. Dollmore to come out with basic/nude versions of their Trinity and Lusion dolls instead of complete clothing limited edition sets.

 

I would rocket right to Cloud Nine if I could get this wonderful dragon doll which was made by Loongsoul. I believe he was called Ying Long.

 

I still want a well-done, 1/3-scale naga... Preferably in tan resin for his human bits and black resin for his snake parts.

Yes, I know that would cost a fortune, but I don't care. Having a "human" version of my black cobra Lunar is okay, but having Ascyllia in his half-snake DBT war-form? THAT would be all kinds of excellent.

 

A re-release of Souldoll I-SO would be nice. But I understand there was a dispute between the sculptor and Souldoll and he was only in production for less than four months.

I also wish Unidoll had not folded. They were going in such interesting directions. I managed to get Selina but there were several other sculpts on my wish list, in particular--Kaito.

I would also like to see shorter, more masculine wigs for the guys.

And more brown eyes, they're hard to find sometimes.

 

I would love if Ringdoll would re-release Markus, preferably his style B. I know I can still get his clothes, but he was my favorite from that company.

 

I wish I could find a Migidoll Miho in the 2008 tan resin 9.9 it's such a pretty color~

 

Real-looking wigs! That's what I want more than anything right now. I want them to stay on magically, and the hair to move realistically in the wind. I also want to be able to style them a bit, not only have one parting option per wig. I'd like to see more contemporary styled wigs, too. Maybe a shag cut, more mid-length styles for sure. And some short style other than a bob!

 

If I could have a Light Tan Feeple60 Soony i'd be SET tbh. Also some more varied wigs.

 

I would be absolutely elated to find the perfect SD elf boy that isn't limited or too young looking.. A cross between Luts SDF Uriel and Migidoll Fairy Jina would be perfect.. All he needs are those dreamy romance eyes, pointy ears and pouty lips!

Also, I'd love it if Iplehouse released a slender/non-muscular YID or SID male body. I really like a lot of their female sculpts since they have potential for my characters but the body doesn't quite fit the image I have in mind.

 

I wish Volks would release a SWD and/or YoSD version of Maki Tsuyoshi and the SDGr Okita. >< And thirding SDGrG and SD17 bodies to the FCS line-up!

 

I wish Hypermaniac would come back and make all of their sculpts available and non limited.

I wish doll companies had regular "archive sales" where they make available all their previous sculpts for people who missed out.

I wish all the doll companies would offer the option of a universal resin colour that would match every other company's resin.

I wish fast and reliable shipping weren't so expensive so I could afford to send my dolls for face ups more often. The shipping often costs as much as the face up. Either that, or I wish my favourite face up artists lived in the same city as me.

 

A Fairyland Feeple60 Shushu. I can't get enough of that sculpt and I wonder what she would look like as a big SD girl. ***sighs***
