okay, my first head with interchangable eyes...

The commission I'm currently working on (Sonia) is for a DOA member so I decided to dive in and make hers what I'm going to call a 'DOA edition'. My dolls usually have rooted hair and painted eyes but on this one I'm doing the hollow head, interchangeable eyes. I thought it would gross me out too much to be playing with the eyeballs in her head but it actually gives the doll a different kind of life, you know?

anyway, here's a pic of the rough head. Her skull cap is off and I haven't put her eyelashes in so her eyelids are also incomplete.

the white smudges on her are cornstarch cause she just finished baking.

I am going to redo her left ear, but other than that I am really pleased!
