We're putting in a new fence around the backyard. Wiishu and Pooki have been very excited about it. Now...they're not so sure...

I'm so glad you enjoy them! I've got a bunch to process! Some a year old. I'm such a terrible mama.

Do you like how Pooki is employing his new-found talent with words? He's such a little stinker.

Thank you. We love it. And it IS an "attractive" nuisance. OTOH, we have netting over the top and I'd hate to go out of a morning and find some uncontrolled dog (or kid) had managed to get tangled in it and drowned. It's not that the dogs can't get in, but at least it's not begging them to investigate.

 

Thank you! He's turned into something very special. The bridge is just two 2x12s that we cut to shape, a few 2x4 braces underneath, and planks. Did it ourselves! Two old ladies with power tools! Bwahahaha. Same with the mural. We sketched it in mud first so we could just wash off what we didn't like! Painted it in house paint with primarily sponges, and sealed it with a clear sealer. I'll probably touch it up after we get all the landscaping done. The fence is helping the street noise a lot. Speaking of which:

Thank you! I hate to admit...if you saw their little faces close up right now, you'd know I don't resist. Poor things are so chipped! Esp Wiishu's mouth. You notice he's so embarrassed, he keeps covering it. I'm such a terrible mom....I'm hoping to get up to Sims' place soon to get them cleaned up.
