I still find your color language very tantalizing. It takes a lot of skill to create many unique psychological atmospheres with your preferred limited color palette and the variations in light and dark. The overarching theme of anxiety and torment is very powerful.

 

As usual, your aesthetic choices and the emotiveness of your photos is top tier.

 

Wow! These are all pretty incredible. Very graphic and surreal.

I think I like Widow and Metamorphosis best.

But the back tattoo in Venom is insane. Do you do that? Are you terrified of moving that torso joint?

Letting my eyes follow along through the images, I feel like I am remembering fragments from a long and complicated dream; and now awake, I am trying to piece together the message which I know must be important but which nonetheless eludes me. :-) Very archetypal and mysterious!

As always, your otherworldly editing skills and regular photography skills blend together to astound. Wow. Words fail me for this set, but you always manage to do everything I wish I could with my own photography.

You always put a great emphasis on emotion in all your work, but I'm intrigued by the more abstract feel some of these pieces have as you interpreted the themes. 'Lure' in particular grabs me; those hands appear throughout the set without their owner ever being clearly visible, and that makes them all the more haunting. Or 'Leech' and 'Husk', which are beautifully unsettling. I'm impressed by the use of hard editing in 'Fossil' and 'Venom' pairing so flawlessly with the more natural photography. 'Silhouette' is particularly striking. Your use of lighting and shadowplay is on full display here, but that downwards motion of the purple light conveys so much energy.

It's been at least a year since I've properly interacted with the forum.

I'm glad to have come in time to not miss this set.
