Yay, new thread!

Just throwing it out there, but has anyone tried an Oasisdoll head on an Iplehouse SID body? I'm specifically thinking of Linglan, but anyone will do.

 

Hi. Anyone know what exact resin colot is the oasisdoll?

 

It's a very pale pink. And as I learned, without a faceup, they will appear ghost-white if you take a picture with flash!

 

Can any pinkish white body from any company (mainly Chinese) will do? I am thinkinh of putting it on a Doll Love girl body

 

She matches up pretty well with Angel of Dream pink resin. Haven't tried her on my DZ pink body yet but that would probably be a decent match as well. I'm not familiar with Doll Love so I can't offer an opinion on that.

 

AOD and DL are related so they both probablt use same resib. I better try that out

 

Anywho has anybody tried oasisdoll and SQlab together?

Does anyone know a good place to buy wigs for these girls? She is wearing a Nine9 Style wig but it tends to slide off a little. I'm trying to find a wig that will stay firmly on her head.

 

Try Dollmore, Luts, Leekeworld or any company. Licht wigs are very good.

Yumeko-chan, can I see your Linglan undress? I might add the AOD body in the lisf

 

Is this ok, or would you prefer a full-body shot?

 

I prefer body shot standing but that is fine, I will add AOD to my list.

 

Does anybody know where to find pictures of a it girl body? As well as a description of its posability? I would like to see the joints when they are 'used' like when the girl is sitting or having her lower legs under her? And the elbow joint as well?

*ETA* Check out Sarina's initial release pictures of the ITgirl body, it should have a range of poses. If there is a pose you want that isn't found on her blog, let me know and I can try and take some pictures for you.

Another question: Does the $540.00 full body include high heel feet, fist hands, eyes as well as normal legs and hands?
And is it easy to switch between the pair of legs?

Yay, Moli!!! I've been holding out for this. And I'm so glad to see the Chicgirl body is being re-released - it's such a beautiful body, Jadeite is my favourite doll out of all my crew, she's just so perfect and lovely.

 

Submitted an order for a Yaoyue head today! Yay! (Even though I swore I'd get Priss a body before starting on any other dolls...XD)

 

Yay! Yaoyue is an awesome sculpt. I was debating whether I get her or Linglan for my character in my proposed Otome game! But her feminine teeth expression gave it away. Too bad the body I am on the way is Mirodoll white and no WS for Oasisdoll ):

I recall I ordered my Linglan head at the tail end of the 2012-13 event and that it was a four-and-a-half-month wait for her ^^; Since I ordered at the beginning this time, I'm hoping it won't be quite as long, but I'm not holding my breath

Hopefully not that long! It's been a while since I ordered from Oasisdoll, so I can't remember how long it took them last time, but from memory it wasn't as long as 4 months.

 

Last time I ordered a head during the winter event (it was the '11-'12 event, not the '12-'13 one I mentioned above) it was near the tail-end of it and I waited 4 1/2 months. Certainly hoping it's not that long this time, especially seeing that I'm not seeing that many people have ordered at all.

 

You never know, I think Oasisdoll is very popular with the Russians. But there definitely don't seem to be as many orders as last year.

Can't wait for my Moli! Would have ordered another Chicgirl body too, if I had the money, but alas! If only money grew on trees.

 

Hope the wait for these lovely dolls won't be too long for you guys.

Hi everyone! ^^ I've been lurking in this thread because I absolutely love the Oasisdoll girls and I've enjoyed looking at everyone's photos of them! This year I'm finally able to bring home my dream girl, Linglan on Chic girl body.

I skimmed through this thread and the few last pages of the previous one, but I didn't find discussion about shoes ( I'm sorry if I missed it! ><;; ). I've been eyeing some lovely SD16 size shoes that I'd like to purchase for my girl, but I'm not sure about the Oasisdoll girl feet size. Could anyone with a Chic girl measure the heel feet for me? Or if you could share where you have bought shoes for your girls, that would be really helpful too. ^^ Thank you in advance~

Chicgirls can definitely wear SD16 heels. I purchased a couple of pairs from TWTell and my girl fits into them perfectly. She can also fit in SD13 heels, if they are big enough - mine are from Nine9Style.

 

Yes, I confirm that the SD16-size is well suited for Chic-body. Heel-version fit just perfect! ^_^

They just put up a notice on their FB page today saying the winter event stuff will ship in mid- or late-March! Yay!

I also got a shipping notice for my Linglan! O__O Imagine my surprise, because I put in an order after the event had already ended, so I wasn't expecting to get a shipping notice until late April at the earliest. She probably won't make it here before I leave town for a couple of weeks come April, though, as EMS from China tends to be really slow... I'll have to hope that they'd be quick for once, but I suppose I need to prepare myself for the worst, ahah. xD;; I really wish I could see her before I go away, though... !

 

Luckily Oasisdoll is in South Korea and not China, so...

 

I've always been under the impression that they're a Chinese company, have I missed something... ? I mean, Sarina's blog is in Chinese and my doll is shipped from China (I can tell by the tracking number's CN ending).

 

Maybe I need to get more sleep (I DID have surgery on Wednesday after all) @_@ You're right, my tracking number has CN at the end too.

I got my Linglan home already two weeks ago, but I had to leave town for a while (and I was busy with other things), so I didn't have a chance to do her face up until today... although, it didn't work out too well, so I probably need to re-do it when I get her actual wig, because it won't have long bangs to cover the messed up eyebrows. I never seem to get the perfect face up on the first try for any doll, ahah...

In addition to the wig, she needs her own clothes as well. All my Soom Super Gem female (old type) tops are too big on her at the bust (oh how I wish there was a larger bust option for these girls) and they're not really her style or colour anyway... xD; But I love her so much already, she is so photogenic and her body poses like a dream~

How about the feeple60 moe line body to oasisdoll head hybrid? Does anybody done that or have any picture? Or anybody knows anything on company that have well proportioned body with wide hips and not skinny body that could match oasisdoll skin? Im really in need for your help guys. Thanks!

 

Thank you! Yes, I was very positively surprised! And after I switched new strings for her (the default string was kind of too loose) and sueded her joints, she now stands like a rock and holds poses even better! I'm so happy that I decided to buy her, even if the Chic body was quite expensive. Totally worth it! ^^

Congratulations on your order! I hope that you will post photos of your Natalie when she has a body! Sadly it seems like there are only a few Natalies around... I hope that Oasisdoll would have a new order period for Natalie head again, I'd love to get her as well~

Fairyland's normal skin is much darker and more orangey-pink than Oasisdoll's creamy normal skin... so you would need to blush the head a lot to match. I'm not sure about the neck fit either, the Feeple60 body's neck might be a little too thin... but I can't say for sure. I don't really remember seeing Oasisdoll hybrids (other than on boy bodies). But for resin matches I'd look at other Chinese companies like Spiritdoll, they tend to have creamy/yellow normal skins. Sadol also has a creamy normal skin so it might match... their bodies certainly have lovely curves, if you don't mind the lack of a torso joint. ^^

I've been planning on taking a comparison photoshoot of my Soom Super Gem female and Senior Withdoll girl with my Oasisdoll Chic body, but I haven't had a chance yet. I'll have to do that when I get back home from my trip. I really love Oasisdoll's Chic body, it has wide shoulders and hips that I really love about it. villemoart on flickr has a comparison of Oasisdoll Chic girl with Soom SG, Mirodoll and Souldoll Zenith female bodies: here.


Since the last time I visited this thread, Yun Hee got her actual wig. ^^ I also made her a simple party dress a few weeks ago, although it ended up a little short and it has some fitting issues, ahah... but it shows off her lovely curves! I love her booty!

Does anyone know how close the resin match of Oasisdoll is to Volks? I'm thinking of putting Linglan or Yao Yue in a Maskcatdoll body and I know that Maskcatdoll has a pretty close resin to Volks.

 

Oasisdoll resin is very pink. I think Volks resin is more on the yellow side.
