Sooo... what's new ? Working on my second SD doll ^^ I'll stop the android until the mid february so I started back an old project.

What I have so far is head, torso, hands and legs. I'm quite happy having managed to make the hands not so badly ^^

 

Well, I'm pretty addicted to sculpting. I've always needed to keep my hands busy, sewing or drawing. With sculpting I can express my thoughts and I love this challenge, managing to create a good looking doll.

Mew and Nohema both got new wigs, now I just need to find clothes for Mew. I wonder if she would fit in Yo SD clother or maybe barbie tops as her bust is really small...

Sooo.. to answer the questions :

BrightSuzaku, his male bits will probably be the last thing I'll sculpt. I need to focus on the joints before thinking about sculpting a penis ^^;

penguu, the wig is a leeke wig I braided. It was a bit too small so I had to resculpt the headcap to make it fits her ^^;

The android is comming out nicely, for now there's just one almost done, I changed her name from TK to Arcadie I have the arms and hands left to sculpt and the joints to do before starting the android like customization. I also need to think about her feet, there will be three option parts, bondage ballerina boots, high heels and simple feet.

My Nameless boy has nos two almost good looking hands and a knee ^^ It's a three parts legs that will allow him to take more flexible poses I hope.





Side note, Arcadie will be mouthless, a kind of reference to anime I both watched and loved when I was younger, Captain Harrlock and Space Adventure Cobra ^^

 

The corset boy is also in good way. He has now two arms and is stringed. I need to sculpt the elbows and the left knee. The hands are almost done, I also need to fix the left hip joints. There's the feet left that I can't do right, It's or too wide or too long to fit SD shoes.. Annoying -.-



And I need to remove all the paint on his face... you can't imagine how I hate myself for having tried to spray primer on him .. It's so difficult to remove !



Anyway, I hope to finish him quickly as I really want to sew clothes for him. And make the "corset" too.... a little surprise for the end

 

Petitefilou, I'll carve them rather than sculpt. there's already tiny details I've sculpted but the rest will be carved, it will look nicer on her. I need to buy hair to malke a wig but I don't know yet which color ...

Today I've done Ningyo's joints (yeah, I found his name .. okay, I know it's sounds lazy and a bit silly, ningyo means doll in japanese, but I think it suits him. I mostly calls him Nine anyway ...)

I'm pretty upset with Ladoll, it breaks when it dried and I need to fill the holes again and again ....



arm joint, it's a 3 parts arm, I like it and well, it's also the joint I do the best ....

One foot left to sculpt before fixing all the details and use gesso...

 

Nine might not have exactly the skin tone than Mew (mew's skin color was an "accident") but he will look less gray. I'm still thinking about the color, will it be normal skin or maybe a bit tan (not as tanned as a dollshe doll XD) but maybe like Volks suntan, I don't know yet I haven't made my choice... and I need to buy paint anyway.

It's a special day today ! Ningyo is string, he can stand and pose pretty well. I'm so pleased it worked fine. Of course there's many things to fix but well, it's a good begining. He is thin and curvy as I wanted him to be.

 

h a c h i k o, I'm always looking for different designs, of course I like "commercial dolls" but i fell in love with the asian bjd artist spirit, the round shapes, sometimes so special and uncomfortable to look at. Now I can make the dolls I like and that I can't find on the web. I still love the dolls I own but I'm trying to find something different by making my own.

Bruny, Nine can be both male or female yeah, I tried to sculpt his penis but in fact he just looks better without. ^^

Be proud of me Kirane, I've managed to make a foot with toes !



And fixed his mouth



I love his legs ^^;



And with clothes. I'm happy the Fruits style worked fine on him

 

Thanks for your comments. Geez... I feel ashamed not having worked on him much more since the last time I've posted.... But well ... Now he has new clothes. But still not painted.
