I don't know what to say. I remember the first time one of my friends showed me the site to Nari-pons. I'll be honest and say I was surprised and I felt that it didn't fit her sense of aesthetics. However, there is a charm to them that I cannot put my finger on but there is something about them that is cute, if not everyone's version of cuteness.

Yeh just look at those pouty mouths!! You just got to love these lil ones!!! They have a habit of creeping into you heart and then all is lost!!!

That's Pansy. I thought she was the grumpiest Pon of all and then one day Th1 was selling a Pon and well... this is her! She's such a sweet little thing, but she has her moments of being a grump. She's just cute in this pic.

Ingie, you are so in trouble when you get some money. Those chubby arms and LEGS and they have an 'outie' tummy button that makes you go all silly. That fat little tummy is so kissable. That's if they let you near it!

The Kelly clothes fit them! They ride in all the Kelly cars and toys and they are so easy to buy goodies for, besides she could steal... erm.... share toys with your Brownies and Puki. *ggg*

 

Holy wuff n puff, Wilkies! I misplaced my birthday card from my mom, and it had some money in it........... stupid me...... what did I do with it?? LOL

 

Yup my girl "shared" really nicely



Now she lives in the attic with all her treasures and everyone else gets the rest of the house. She stands guard at the top of her stairs just in case

 

Juniper Snowpea is a pansy, too, and boy she really does look grumpy. Daisy is pretty grumpy, too. gothiclibrarian's Honorine is a Daisy.

 

GothicLibrarian's two are the first ones I'd ever seen. I was so drawn to them and the Juniper showed up and started making such a scene I couldn't help but give in!

 

I'm beginning to lose my ability to resist Nari-Pons and this thread isn't helping. I think eventually I'm going to have to have either Ginger or Pansy. Their grumpy looks never fail to amuse me!

 

There is something special in naripon.

Ugly, with attitude

 

Honestly (I hope not to offend those who like her?) I laughed really hard when I first saw her. And then in my mind, I thought of the Hunchback, "Go back to Notre Dame!"

 

Ahaha I laughed when I saw her too! But it was more of a "Ahah ha... What were they thinking when they made that?" she's just so... bitter and squishy! Like she's been whacked in the head with a shovel... Kinda makes me think of Little Nicky xD
That being said, I don't think I could ever come to love that face. o_o;

 

Um... yeah. For sure she's no juniper snowpea, and i'm thankful for THAT!!

Just seconding the likes of petitefilou and linakauno... not for me.

At least other molds are versatile, you know? Sometimes (it's rare, but really, sometimes) Juniper Snowpea looks sad. She's got crabby, annoyed, sad, wistful...

I'm not a fan. Eek. Glad I didn't look at this at night, or I'd have nightmares galore. One quick look at the one pic was enough.

St least Juniper Snowpea is CUTE. Even when crabby... she's CUTE.

 

Jinji and Tippi are back out in public sight, so I can re-bond with them!!

 

they kind of remind me of like pugs. so ugly they are cute or so ugly you'd burn it acid. you either love them or hate cause it's your taste or not. i have tinies also, but to me i just find the face to be ugly. the shape of the head and lips just isn't to my appeal. i've seen one or two that was like oh that looks ok or good, but i still would never own one.

and i also don't mind murderous intent dollies cause some of my dolls i try to paint them that way.

 

From the looks she's giving you, you are VERY lucky she doesn't have a stinger on that costume!

These little girls are so darned cute...and they look pretty miffed at anyone trying to take advantage of their cuteness!

 

These are my same 2 Naripons,... so you don't think they're cute??

 

I love the grumpy little toddler look of Nari-Pons. I think the thing that looks odd about them is the shape of the eyes, but that can be remedied by softening the shape with faceup, so they look more human and less alien-like. But I think it's cute that they have an attitude.

Thank god I stumbled accross this, I just bought the same set off ebay for my Puki!! Thanks for the heads-up!! Oh and back on topic, I dont love them or hate them, but I do find them amusing in their chubby little "eating lemons" expressions.... they have so much personality!!!

ok, as it was requested..... my grumpy little "Minnie"..... i am surprised at how absolutely charmed i am by her...... i really bought her out of curiosity, but never expected to adore her so much.... she is irresistible.

 

he's wonderful...... i will as soon as i have some time, i have been so busy, i did take "Minnie" to a meet up this weekend..... she is so fun....

Well, here he is in his first appearance!




I'll be doing a box opening thread eventually (I hope this evening) and it is part of a whole little story about how Moth (Moona) and Lily (Fidelia) have spent their day.

I can't wait until I have a chance to actually start playing with him!!! He's got a lovely blue eye and a gorgeous face up!

 

Uh oh... everyone watch out... My Precious is in a foul mood.



Perhaps that's because her clothes don't fit (I'm going to make her new clothes, honest).

It's your fault I got a Toadstool, wilkies! When I saw how cute he was with your Fidelia (and got over my initial shock), I started going to the NotDoll Lab site and looking at him and looking for photos in the Galleries here. Finally I could resist his charms no longer! He is sweet in a grumpy, fussy sort of way. I know my girls will probably devil him as much as they possibly can!



Here he is relaxing in his chair after a hard day at the beach! (No matter how I pose him, that one arm always sits there like he's about to slap something or someone. I can practically hear him saying, "Why I oughta...!")

It's great to see more naripons . I love these tiny girls. Please keep posting. I will take a few pics over the weekend so I can share more pics of them. I was playing around with one of my preiwinkle and she has now a new body . And I'm considering getting a new one so she can be another little creature.

 

Kir, I'm dying to know what kind of body you gave your Periwinkle? I love the way the Nari-pon bodies look but not a fan of their kickiness...arms and legs flying everywhere!
