Hello. I ordered a head in the end of may this year. I have ordered before from Denverdoll, but those were in stock things and dolls. - never a problem. The head I ordered was TianBa 'Lev' head. in 1/4. no face up. In the end of October I send them a email to know how fare the order was, but never got any reply. I have send a email again just last weekend. but so fare no reply... Now im getting a little worried. og therefore this tread. Have any one have contact with them recently? From Dothea
If they don't respond and you paid through PayPal, you might want to file a claim before your time runs out. They might respond to the PayPal claim and ship your doll head. If they don't you will at least get your money back.
Unfortunately it appears that if the order was paid through paypal, the 6 months have just past. If the paypal was funded through a credit card, there may still be a chance. I had to do that once because paypal wasn't helpful with my dispute, so I went through my credit card's bank to dispute the charges successfully. As with DDE not responding, I inquired about something (I didn't have any pending orders at the time) about a doll and never got a response. This was around the spring/summer time. I wasn't too concerned since it wasn't something terribly important. @Dothea Did you email DDE with your order number or your name? Because with your last name, that's apparently how they look up your order. If so and they are not responding, then, yes maybe file a dispute if you can. Contact paypal to see if they can possibly assist you, if not and you paid via credit card through paypal, then contact your credit card's bank to dispute.
There is always the possibility that the emails aren't going through for whatever reason. Maybe it's going into their spam or the sending is somehow not working. You may wish to try an alternate email just to rule that out, or give them a call. As another person said, be sure to mention your name and order number. I've worked with DDE many times, typically no news just means the pre-order hasn't arrived to them yet. I've found them to be trustworthy and consistent over the years, so try not to worry too much. I've never had a problem getting answers to my stupid questions with them, so don't give up just yet :P
I had contacted them in mid October and heard back quickly. Agree with some others here -- maybe the email is being filtered out? DDE is also on Instagram so that's another place you can try to teach them, if email isn't working. Good luck!
Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I have been to a concert her in Denmark. ^^. Calling would be a little expensive since im I Denmark (EU). Could it simply be the email, is use Gmail?. I think I have a hotmail. I will try email them from there or try Facebook or instagram. And I have paid with paypal so yes the widow for claim closed the 26nov.. xS. Yes I included my order number. but not my last name. will remember that to the mail im sending tomorrow. Thank you all. I recently bought some in stock items from them (Not resin) and it arrived to me in about a week? I'm sorry you haven't heard from them! I also didn't try to email or contact them though.

@Dothea I'm a bit late, but DDE is extremely responsive. I've ordered from them many times, and they respond within a few hours. To me, it sounds like your messages are going to spam. I've had this happen with a dollmaker who I've ordered from regularly, and somehow, my emails, even though I had been in contact with them a few weeks ago, started sending mine to spam. I would leave a comment on Instagram saying what you said here and that you've sent them a DM with more details. That way, they can also get a notification as some private messages sometimes don't get notifications. Hopefully by now, you were able to get in contact with them!
Hello every one Just this morning I got an answer back. the head is not even with them yet, but they hope it will ship in the end of January. ( long time for at head with no face up, but oh well ). Seems like it was my email that was the problem. Thank you for all you help. From Dothea
Hmm...I believe that on the Tianba thread [post #14] that someone mentioned that the head would have been finished or shipped Oct / Nov. But, I was assuming that it was if you ordered direct. And, that seems to be true because someone posted the arrival of their head mid-late November, that person ordered direct. I haven't followed long enough to figure out how long it takes DDE [on average] to receive a doll, after people start receiving dolls direct from manufacturer.
@tinyflame Thank you for the info. Was just wondering why a head would take so long.. but then again, a lot of companies have longer waiting time now. Im just looking forward now to get the head. .
Ordering through dealers also tend to add a couple of months to the wait times because dealers order in batch, and it may take longer for them to receive all the heads. Just a note for the future!
