No Objections - Here comes Franziska! (IH JID Cecile) Update on 2nd Page (June)

Well, here she is. The girl that made me want a BJD in the first place. The one I ended up buying first.

Cecile. The first time I laid eyes on her, I knew she was picture perfect for Franziska von Karma from the Gyakuten Saiban / Ace Attorney series. Franziska is a character I love a lot, and I really wanted to have a BJD that looks just like her.

I had ordered her on December 9, she was shipped January 27 - and I could finally free her from customs yesterday.

I had to open her box there, but resisted from looking at her so I could enjoy doing this at thome.
Thankfully, Miuu accompanied me to the customs office and carried her home for me (thank you so much!) I was (still am) sick and did not have the power to carry her all the way.

The somewhat strange customs officer checked her really throroughly @_@
I wasn't even hiding anything, I guess he just wanted to check if her lower body part was as anatomically correct as the rest?

But as you can see, she's rather modest and would really like some clothes just about now.

I got that wig for her in Japan last spring, already knowing I would end up buying her some day. It is very very long and will need a haircut (to look somewhat like it does on this picture, just without the ponytail).

By the way the young lady is able to stand on her own really well. No sign of floppy legs. A+ Iplehouse!



Her pretty face ^/////^ Her eyes are so beautiful, I'm wondering if Iplehouse selected those for me cause I sent them reference pictures for the (slightly) custom faceup, and they knew the colour of hair she was going to get - the colours match perfectly.
Unfortunately, if I take pictures without flash of her, her eyes seem to be very dark, and the colour's lost. I will have to work on that, maybe with glass eyes.

Now, she'll need her whip, and the clothes she's wearing in game, and voilà - Franziska von Karma. But I already love her to pieces.

Aw, thank you. Franzi is my favourite female character from the series, but she's very nearly my overall favourite (if it wasn't for Phoenix). I'm having so much fun with her already knowing she cannot whip me yet ;D
