50–65cm Dolls No Name

Feb 10, 2019

    1. I apparently have a thing of doodling up new things without finishing old things. I sculpted the head a few months back and im just now getting around to fixing the body anatomy.

i wanted it a little more boyish than my first sculpt and I rly dig hooked noses
      It adds character ok

    2. oooooh I love his face!! Also noone has a perfectly straight and tiny nose. I also like his jawline! For some reasons, he reminds me a bit of Enter Shikari's drummer :O
For the demon head.. mate, those cheekbones? Those lips?? Are you joking? Scorching hotttt

I do prefer the demon's body a little more, but just because it looks more finished, but I like the curve of the shoulders of the other guy. I'd thicken his thighs for a good measure to make him a powerful muscular man (and thick thighs are always a good thing) as he looks evenly muscular but a bit less on his hip area, compared to the calfs and to the torso

other than that, I love the slight muscle definition and the nicely shaped v line! He looks more natural than the classic "totally ripped but very thin for some reason" male sculpt that a lot of companies have.

Good job! Do not abandon this project, is very cool!!

Oh hey I didnt see there was a comment!
Thank you lmao you're right, acanthus (the demon looking one) actually has maybe 4-5x more hours put into him than my current doodle lmao. No name is really just meant to be a test run model for learning how to joint and etc that i wouldn't have to worry about 'messing up' during the process haha

I'll need to think on that calves thing though cause believe it or not im wondering if i shouldn't downtune his muscle mass right now lmao. He seems a little too fleshed out compared to my initial plans

    4. that's cool! Both of these sculpts, even at different degrees of refined, look so good! Very manly and gorgeous bone structure

about the body, oh no! I like that he's toned but not crazy defined. I would say keep same beefiness but propotionize(??) him a little more! But if he's too beef for what you intended, then I think just thin him out keeping the same muscle definition! I think it's the best looking one without getting too extreme and unrealistic!

In any case, crazy good job! Sculpting 3D looks so difficult :P

    5. Great job, I can't wait to see the finished doll.

    6. Fairly slight changes over the last few days since this is a doodle project but I'm a little happier with how the proportions are. On the flip side though ive accidentally removed too much bulk from the arms and the hands need rework oopsies

Yeah I think I see what you're saying lmao. I overemphasized the curves on himj so he came out a little too beefy ratio wise. I've leaned him out a bit more now but he's still got a long ways to go

3D sculpting actually isn't too bad rn. I'm using fairly basic tools and im treating it like clay that just so happens to be able to make things symmetric on both sides lmao
The learning curve isn't too too bad yet
