I know I just posted some Nixie pics yesterday but these are JUST TOO CUTE... Nixie with my roommate's custom-made doll Cassandra. They've become friends ever since Ned made her! ^_^ Cassandra is not ball-jointed but she is inspired by BJD's. Her joints are floppy like a ragdoll, and all her joints can move. She has fabric upper arms/legs/tail, and real animal fur on her too. So enjoy the pics, they are taken here in our College courtyard in the beautiful afternoon sun.(Savannah College of Art and Design here in GA). Thanks a lot! I did not make Cassandra (read the post) she was made by my friend Ned! ^^ Nixie is all Super sculpey with some ultrasuede ears and a real fur tail. Cassandra is super sculpey too with real fur and fabric upper legs/arms. I love my Nixie! :grin: Sure do! I'm in 212 if anyone wants to drop by yay! She really loves that tree... ^^
I made her! ^^ She's all Super Sculpey that has been airbrushed with acrylics. The Mods moved this topic! o_o I'm sorry I put it in the wrong section...I didn't put it in the Artist's BJD's because Cassandra is not a BJD and I'd already posted a Nixie thread here...hummm....well alright! ^^ Does this mean all Nixie pics in the future go here? But she is done and she's one of my dolls now so I thought then that pics of her completed should go in the gallery. ops: Waaa... Weee hi Ned! XD You got a username, cool (Everyone, sugersphinx is my roommate / one who made Cassandra) ^__^! Yea, I love the ones of them in the tree, they look so real! Like they could pounce on you. ^^
I sent Zalem a note when I saw it had been moved earlier, she didn't know why it had been moved, but she was going to check with the other mods and let those of us with custom sculpts know whether or not they should be posted to the regular Gallery (I would think so, since they're finished dolls in our collections!) *squishes* -- A
I moved the thread I got a PM from another member suggesting it be moved and agreed. I do apologize for not sending a PM about it... There aren't hard/fast rules on where completed artist's dolls should go and I'm sure the Mods will add this to our list of things we need to sort through to keep y'all happy We'll be seeing many more artist's dolls, after all.
