Nine9 Doll "Bunny Nine" 35cm Line discussion!

I'm so in love with Pudding I can't stand it. I didn't even know Nine9 made dolls until I saw these in-between cuties. I wonder how their posability is... I'm so excited for more information about these girls. Pudding has immediately jumped to the top of my want list... those tiny teeth though.

 

They are definitely adorable!! I love Potpourri About the pose-ability, I think they should've went with a double jointed torso (two-piece), as clearly Pudding is laying down quite awkwardly in that glass cup because of how "straight" her torso is xD

 

Even if the posability isn't good the sculpting is very cute!

 

I wonder how hard it would be to mod a torso into two pieces... I love everything else about them, right down to the mobility joint in the thigh... It seems weird that they wouldn't have a two piece torso... I'm still wanting one bad, regardless of torso. XD I wonder how hard they'll be to dress... I'm sure Nine9 will release a clothes line for these cuties, but in general, I've never seen an in between doll... So I'm really excited.

 

Oh my, they're adorable! I love Pudding's little face and teeth, she reminds me a bit of Bluefairy Hana.

And what good luck for people with 35cm dolls from other companies since there will no doubt be a new line of clothes to go with these girls.

They're so cute, I'm really looking forward to learning more. They remind me of the Darak-i Claire/ C-Remy dolls.

 

New photos of Potpourri on their flickr. (I'm so confused today! Lol) these girls are both so stunning. I never thought I would like a sculpt with teeth but I love them.

 

They are so cute! They kind of have a bluefairy look to them. I wonder what their bigger dolls will look like, that is if they make bigger dolls. Either way, these are absolutely adorable!

The girls are finally out! At $290 for one with a faceup, I'm slightly hesitant. I'm still in love with them, but I'm going to have to seriously weigh my options on my wish list... Who here's going to order for sure?

 

My goodness, these girls are adorable! I think their little bodies are very cute and those teeth kill me.

 

I'll order one for sure, I just have to get my finances in order first. I'm leaning towards a Potpourri.

 

Any sign that they might be selling clothes for them?

 

There's a Bunny section under shoes, but no shoes yet.

 

Oh, I asked them and they said there will be lots of clothes. each doll has 4 option outfits already, which I think is a nice touch. I personally prefer either pudding A default or the Special Pudding A. I'd love to see if they'll add the special A outfit to my default order... So she'll have two outfits. If I decide to buy one, that is.

But after checking measurements, it looks like they could get away with wearing mnf skirts, and shoes, too. I'm not sure about tops, I didn't buy one so I didn't check those. XD

 

Pudding is very much on my wishlist. I'm glad there will be a lot of clothes (35cm dolls need ALL the clothing options they can get) but I'm really tempted to try and hybrid Pudding's head onto a shorter body. Even if all my searches for resin matches has proved it will be an adventure since there's no info on nine style resin, and the dreamingdoll (they seem to offer their 1/3 girls on the Elva bodies) results are all from a few years ago.

 

For those who are wondering, I contacted Nine9 and inquired about a layaway. They do offer layaway, at an initial payment of 30% of the total, and the rest made in one or two payments within two months. I attached the screenshot if anyone wants to read it. This may make these girls a bit more affordable for some of us (including myself)! I'm about 90% sure I will get a pudding now...

I agree, but at least they have nice Mary Janes! Clothes are easier to find than shoes. Dollmore Narsha clothes may fit.

Aren't they sweet? Mine refuses to be photographed without eyes! She is thinking about which ones she likes best. She came with 16mm eyes and they are too big for my taste. I think she'll settle on the green ones, but the purple are cute too.

I'm not too fond of the one style of shoe nine9style offers, so I'm looking into other options. Her foot measures 4.8 cm, so I'm looking for yosd shoes that run large. Any ideas?

 

I found a couple pairs of shoes from Ruby Red Galleria that are 4.8 - 5 cm. You might check their shoes and see what you can find.

I would second the note on RubyRedGalleria. I have some of their little yosd shoes, and they fit my Saintbloom. (Who is also this inbetween size)

I think she finally settled on some purple eyes. I found that the bigger ones suit her better than smaller ones.

 

I put the green eyes in my Potpourri, but maybe I will try the purple ones!

Nine9 Style has posted sneakers and more clothes for the Bunny line dolls.

 

I just ordered a blank potpourri and the bunny outfit! I like the default face up, but I bond better to dolls that I paint... And I really want to bond with this girl.

 

I'm thinking about ordering a Pudding… Does anyone know if long YoSD dresses would fit these girls? I looked up the standard measurements for YoSD and compared it to the Bunny Nine dolls:

Here are the "Standard Size Clothes Measurements" off of Alice's Collection for YoSDs:

1/6 Doll
Height: 25-27 cm
Chest: 13 cm
Waist: 11-12 cm
Hips: 13-14 cm
Shoulder Width: 6.5-7.5 cm

And here are some more supplementary measurements I pulled from a quick google search on YoSDs:
Neck: 6 cm
Arm length: 7.5 cm
Leg Length: 10 cm
Foot length: 4 cm

And here are some slightly different measurements for YoSDs I found here on DoA:

Height: 26 cm
Eyes: 14-16 mm
Head cir. : 17.5 cm
Bust/Chest: 14.5 cm
Waist: 13 cm
Hip: 15 cm
Across shoulders: 7.5 cm
Arms (w/hands): 9.8 cm
Leg (from hip to foot): 13.5 cm
Front neck to crotch: 10 cm
Foot length: 4 cm


So the shoulder, neck, and waist widths of the Bunny Nine line are both within range of YoSD. Bunny Nine's bust is within range of YoSD in the measurements I got from DoA. Her hips are about 1-2 cm too big for YoSD and her torso is about 2 cm longer. Her arms and legs are obviously much longer, so long sleeved YoSD clothes would probably look awkward on her. And I'm assuming that YoSD bottoms wouldn't fit her because her hips are too wide and legs too long, unless the bottoms were elastic shorts or bloomers that won't look strange on her long legs.

What I'm getting from looking at these measurements is that the Bunny Nine is basically like a longer YoSD with bigger feet and slightly wider hips. Would a longer YoSD dress fit her, assuming that the dress gathers at the waist?

To owners of a Bunny Nine doll: Have you had any success dressing her in YoSD clothes?
If possible, could you post some comparison photos of her next to a YoSD and/or a MSD? That would be amazingly helpful if you could!

 

These girls are sooo cute!! I remember seeing them awhile back and writing down their names for possible future dolls (I do that alot I dont know who I like better though, I think I'll need to have a better look at owner pics.

Same! There's not too many owner pictures out there since it's such a new doll. I found some on flickr, but I really want to see some pictures of Pudding and Potpourri's faces from several angles and different lightings. Sometimes a doll can look very different from what you expect because of its faceup or the way it was photographed. :/ I'm kind of leaning towards Pudding right now though, because of her daintier nose and slightly more closed mouth. Though I do love Potpourri's big round doey eyes.
