Hello I know how hard and frustrating it is to find certain patterns, so from here on out, I'm going to be making patterns of all the clothes I make my dolls and posting them here. I will put up a picture of the finished product, a pattern, and instructions. Out of pure respect for the sewing community, please do not use my hard work to make you a profit. Thank you. Basic Sewing Terms Please keep in mind that I am not a master pattern maker and all of my patterns will be drawn by hand and scanned. I will be making clothes for these three dolls: I may also make clothes for a Dollzone girl body, a Limho MSD boy body, or a LatiBlue girl body at some point. (Measurements can be found on their respective sites) ~~~~~~~To Make: Long sleeved dress for Delia Hoodie for Taryk ~~~~~~~Finished Patterns: ALL PATTERNS HAVE A 3/8" SEAM ALLOWANCE. Balloon Skirt | Pattern | Instructions | Finished Project | Hoodie | Pattern | Instructions | Feel free to post things that you'd like to see, questions, or requests. I will try to alter the patterns for you if you'd like. Just let me know. I may request a small trade or something in return for my services but it will never be much. :b
The first pattern is done! I just have to get up off my bum and upload it and write some instructions and post the picture. Hahah.
Thank you all for your support! The first pattern is up and I'd LOVE to see what you guys do with it! Feedback is always good too
How exciting! I'm going to make a pattern that I didn't have previous planned - one for a hoodie for an MSD boy. I promised my best friend I would make her kiddy one so I will pattern it as well
Very nice skirt pattern, but I was wondering why so much material? It is about making the dresses puffy? I guess that if I wanted to make a more straight short skirt I would halve the material of the main part and leave 5mm on top and bottom edge for hems. Drop the upper piece, hem both ends, and set a very small pop-stud at the top back. Alternatively sew as a loop and set a little fine knicker (panty) elastic around the top to hold. Phil.
It was to make it puffy - it's a pattern for a balloon style skirt, similar to this: http://chicisimo.com/files/2009/01/plaid-balloon-skirt-and-ves.jpg
I've got the jacket pattern drawn up, I just need to put it on two pieces of paper for printing reasons and get it scanned and uploaded.
Of course. I know they are not the best quality patterns, but they are simple and great for us who aren't professional seamstresses!
33 Great idea. These are really easy-to-follow instructions for any beginner (or advanced!) sewer. Thanks for sharing
i need to make clothes for my Mei before she gets here, will definitely have to try your skirt pattern
this is fantastic i feel these are clothes that'd be relatively simple to make, and would look great!
Thanks a lot for the patterns. I have a Bobobie Mai (MSD boy) and it is really hard to find patterns that fit him. Please do a pattern for pants.
