Here for your viewing pleasure is a white skin top and limited Dragon's Blood Red bottom: Nightmare Constantine -name pending- Order Date: June 20, 2023 Arrival Date: January 16, 2024 Vendor: Denver Doll No wigs or clothes, but he came with an extra set of hands, two pairs of horns, and a nifty set of dressing peanuts to make it easier to slip on clothes! The free set of eyes were a gorgeous deep red to go with his crimson hide, and the customary small bit of cleaning sponge. ~ON TO THE PHOTOGRAPHS, ALREADY~ Spoiler: BIG CHUNGUS BOX! Spoiler: Mummy-taur! Spoiler: Ya mans gots papers n parts! ~Glamour/Reference Shots~ Spoiler: Front View Spoiler: Rear View Spoiler: Spine Close-up Spoiler: Gorgeous 3/4 View As a note, I will say, he came a bit floppy compared to the other centaur doll I've bought from Dream Valley. Might be on account of his legs being thicker and his horse bum being heavier. That aside, I also noticed minor variations of the color of the red resin, but that's to be expected as the pigment mixes with the resin. This is also minor -at least to me- since he's gonna get one hell of a body blushing to go with his sinister looks! One tiny nitpick from me is that the spinal bones aren't magnetic and they just kinda slide around, which arouses concern for said bad boy body blushing. It would have been nice to see details like that better incorporated into the design. Not to mention, no magnets provided for the top of the head to mount the horns. -_- ok, maybe THAT one was kind of annoying. I mean, considering how pricey these guys can be, a better glue can go a long way! TL;DR Great doll, little floppy. Needs magnets! lol yay centaur doll! ~THANKS FOR STOPPING BY~
He is a stunner! Yeah - my B4-19 body was strung on the loose side. I'm wondering if our jokes about DV's Hulk stringing guy got back to him? I hope not - I would feel bad if they did. It was all in good fun! I'm surprised no magnets for the spine or the horns? That's a strange choice. Still - he's a gorgeous boi. Can't wait to see more!
I second the lament about the spine bits, I got my nightmare in normal skin, because I wanted to give his horse half a dappled grey paint up. My head does have magnets for the horns, maybe reach out to Denver Dolls because that sounds like a production error. lovely to see him in red like the promos
What an impressive boy! He’s gonna look great all painted up. Regarding keeping the bones in place-can earthquake putty be safely used on resin? That’s my first thought for keeping delicate bits in place yet removable.
Thank you, kindly! I've just gotten done with another doll on the table, so he's up. For him, since he's in that breathtaking crimson red, I wanna go for something on the minimalist side. Some runes on the hooves, shimmery black up to quarter shin with Celtic designs in negative space. And a translucent shimmery black for the tail to add shadows and light. For his torso, I'm thinking an Egyptian medium tan. Originally, I had planned for him to be the Gentleman Reaper, but he seems more tired and ever-so-slightly cocky. So, Retired Raider feels more fitting. Sarcastic and sometimes rude, but fiercely loyal and protective. He doesn't take anything seriously, but be warned if he does. He doesn't suffer fools, but is down for a hearty laugh. That kind of taur, yknow?
