New Zweii update and a THIRD new girl - 3" tall~!

    1. Third new girl Page three~!

      Her name is Clutter! she's sooo tiny!

      I was messing with Zwei the other day and decided to finaly fix up her joints! In the end she got a whole new head too! My roomate joined me and encouraged me create to the little centaur girl. . who I affectinatly call "Horse-butt" She dosen't have a real name yet ^_^ but then again she dosen't have a wig yet either. My roommate, Tursi (on the board) helped me paint both of ht elittle girls and now they can frolick about together!

      Zwei is 61/2" inches tall and Horse-butt is acctualy just a smidgin shorter. . but she's close enough to 6 1/2" too ^_^


      And Unpainted Zwei so you can see all her joints now. her shoulders and hips were REALLY axward before I re-made them

    6. horse-butt is entirely all too cute XD Are you thinkin' about making more to sell? I'm sure they'd be a big hit..I know i'd buy one XD and the 'oh but im a centaur, we're a noble breed' just cracks me up...the picture that is. the tail is just too cute XD

    11. Your really showing a lot of improvement since you first posted you dolls, not that you were awful before or anything. I really like the centaur. I'm reminded of a book illustrator I used to see a lot of when I was a little kid, bit I can't remember the name.

      Kaye: She's getting a name now ^-^ Her owner, my old roommate, is taking her to tour Spain. Hopefully she won't still be called horse-butt when she gets home

    40. Update on castings for Zwei


      the first attempt was an absolute failure! -_-;
      I'm going to go buy more mold making silicon and make a new mold for her and try again!

      I'm still going to try to finish the first casting this weekend. Getting Silicon tomorrow!

      I'll Iron out everythign soon!

    42. Update: I got more mold making material. . but now the acctualy casts are coming out like crap!

      Attempts 2-3 FAILED

      Hopefully 4 will bring some improvments. I'm trying another mold making material next time.

    45. I just now realized that the dolls were named 1,2, and the new one 3... XD And here I was just thinking Zwei was a cutesy little name!

      I'd love to have a little Zwei if you get the casting worked out!

      then Sechs will be the first boy!

      Casting Update:

      I found anew mold material that seems to be working really well! I've only tested it with one peice, but so far everythings going well! Keep checking for updates and I'll hopefully be able to post pictures of a resin Zwei soon!

    51. I just have to say this... I was exclaiming about the "made" dolls yesterday and my kids said "but why would someone want to make their own doll?"

      "Oh," sez mom, "just to see if they can, and to have something really different..."

      So we looked at all of the current threads in here and when I got to these they both just did a wow. "Those are... freaky!" "Is that good?" sez me. "Oh yeah!! Those are so COOL!"

      And when I mentioned that the centaur was called "horse-butt" it was all over :)

      Kudos for originality, cuteness, and the whole nine yards!
