Meetup New York City meetup - September 14th, 2019

    1. I made it to the meet last Saturday! I left early and didn't bring a doll of my own, but I was happy to chat and take pics. A couple Smart Doll people stopped by, too.

      This was my contribution to the meet. Though not a doll, I got this figure at Bookoff earlier in the day. I had seen her there a couple weeks earlier and wanted to get her. Luckily, she was still there. We spent part of the meet trying to figure out who she is. I've found out that she's a figure from Banpresto of Sheryl from Macross Frontier. I didn't know who she was before I got her, but I liked her and she made me happy anyway :)

    3. @Gamma Ray - thanks for the photos! (Love how you "pull the shirt up over" people's heads in the background!) A goodly variety of dolls! I'm not particularly a man-suit person, but that green vest/suit is wowsa!

      Love the hair on your figurine. I can see why you were attracted to it! Alas, we couldn't do that to doll wigs without employing stiffner, wire, and perhaps a small Van De Graaf generator--
