I finally made it back to the New York City doll meet yesterday. It was a really nice time with a lot of great Halloween-themed dolls and even some dolls that weren't so Halloween. There was even Beyblade! And Cousin It joined us! What a blast from the past! I brought my Iplehouse SID Eva in her sexy dominatrix costume so she could enjoy some Halloween fun herself. I have like 100 photos from the meet, so take a look at all of them in my Flickr photo album for the meet. (Mild nudity warning if you're logged into Flickr, you may see a beautiful chromed-out nude doll in the first photo depending on your safety settings. Not logged into Flickr? You won't see it.) Great pix! I miss the meetups-- Definitely worth the trip to your Flickr - what doll was the large fellow with the transparent "braincase"?
I'm glad you liked the pics, Hobby! We miss you! I don't know what the transparent doll was, but he was really cool.
Wonderful photos. Love you had great weather to be outside. Thanks for sharing these. I was at a meet up in Chicago area on 12th as well.
Thank you, animemom! We had good light for the pics. I should've gone back to one table after the sun made its way around the buildings, though. That one table got the only really bad light. We weren't actually outside! Take a look at the background. You can see the glass in the walls. Things can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter, though. I hope you took pics from your Chicago meet!
Hey, @Gamma Ray - you were mentioning the atrium - do they still have the various birds in the bamboo/tree clumps? I remember the population got impacted while the atrium was closed. Then covid didn't help. The birds depended a lot on "people crumbs" (I know they got small plates of birdseed put out for them in the undergrowth, but we always did our part to give them extra treats!) @kyukyukyu - thanks! I'll see if I can find a look at them.
