New to the hobby, hello!

    1. Hi there! I've been interested in bjds for over a decade, but I only just recently purchased my first dolls and started trying to be active in the community. My first doll arrived this week, a HDF Madeleine that I bought secondhand, and I'm absolutely in love with her. I'm still waiting for her clothes, wig and eyes to arrive, and I'm hoping to try my hand at sewing outfits for her too. I also have a Myou Doll Chelses and Lingwei-2 preordered, and I'm very excited for those to finally arrive!

      Despite knowing about bjds for years, I've only recently started learning a lot about them. I'm excited to have a new hobby to explore and a community to join!

    5. Hello!! I’m also new to the hobby!! It’s nice to “meet” another newbie! I collected other dolls for a while but am pretty much brand new to BJDs. I’ve fallen in love with a few, specifically Jacoosun x Catmo Rou doll! I would love to see a pic of your new doll once everything arrives! Congrats! :)

    6. It's nice to meet you, too! I've seen that doll, it looks really interesting! I started out with figures before this, not dolls, but I feel like both eventually lead here. I have a profile up for my first doll, but I'm still waiting on some clothes and accessories I bought to arrive so that I can take proper pictures. Thank you!
