40–49cm Dolls New to me SDmidi F35

    1. Been a couple years since I added to the BJD herd. Should remember to stay off Mandarake when I am not employed. Also did 2 things I told myself I would not do again.

      1. Buy WS resin.
      2. Buy an MSD sized doll (immature mini sized doll).

      Eyes glued in, oh well, not in hurry to change them they are a very nice hazel color. I am waiting on a wig and shoe shipment from Denver dolls. She did not come with clothes or wig. I am watching an Eqyptian Documentary now and think her name might be Tiye (Tai).

    3. I swear the great stuff only shows up on Mandarake when you're unemployed! :x

      Your new girl is so lovely! She has such a mature look for an SDM. I hope her size and resin tone will work out for you! Breaking rules like that is very risky, but sometimes it works out! Her faceup and eyes are very pretty! I wouldn't want to change her hazel eyes for a while either.

    4. Ha ha I told myself I wouldn’t buy anymore dolls at all since I retired and I just bought two.

      Temptation goes with the hobby I guess!

      She’s very pretty, I love Volks because they are very well made and can look so different depending on the face up.

      Mine are all mostly old school Volks.

    5. She's wonderful already! Congratulations! Sometimes you just have to take those chances I suppose. When you are unemployed you have the time to think about and do things with dolls... It's hard!
      I hope we'll get to see her around when she's all dressed up :D

    7. I think it was the mature look that attracted me to be honest and made me break those rules. She reminds me of my SD13 seirei F26. Could be a little sister to her I thought. We're waiting on clothes (I am making) and wigs/shoes coming from Denver dolls. My only other wigs in 7-8 are for my Amanda Beauty who is a completely different scale/character.

      My last 2 immature minis were a Volks MSD cat girl Shinsiya? I think... and a BF Jerome. Very different. I like the updates Volks has made with the SDM size. The only thing I am unsure about is the hands and feet seem kind of immature and clunky now. Thinking about adding some other option hands and seeing which I like better.
