I finally got a shipping notice from Lati. My HK elves are on their way!

And I'm still curious...are there people who won 1 of 9 elves?

 

It figures I should fall in love with these dolls,just after they run out...poops on my luck!
How long before they restock??

Just wanted to add that I spent the last 3 hours looking at photos on Flickr....I've been bitten hard!!!

 

Me too LadyCrow! I keep seeing these little guys around and now I want one. I tried to sign up on their website and it would not take. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you have to wait until they re-stock?

Also what is the difference between the the yellow editions? I am not quite sure what I am looking at.

I love my tinys ...there is 1 missing though ...only 1 ....a tan LEA
Im tempted to try and trade my Miel Elf for one ...but Lati did say they are thinking of doing more tan ....dose an exited little I WANT dance

 

I'm hoping that maybe they will have a 3rd anniversary sale,which would be Sept. I want a reg. yellow body Coco or Lami soooo bad,Tan skin would be awesome!

 

I had to use Internet Explorer to sign up and order, it didn't like Mozzilla for some reason....

 

I use IE and signed up last week,worked for me that way too.

 

I asked Lati and they said they would next open up for orders in September ^__^

So little time to decide which two to get xwx;;;

 

OMG...I have little time to save up...or sell my other dolls. Which ever it takes...I have to have one!! I guess they don't do layaway...lol

I have hesita a long time between LEA and COOKIE. I bougth but .... I'm afraid that I made a mistake ... I think I sould take LEA .... I'm waiting that she come to make a decision.

worse thing I ever did was to sell my Old white Lea ...I had been quite happy owning 1 Lati Yellow for years ...I sold her and as the parcel left the house ...I went mad ....I missed her so bad ...I had to get another ...I knew the Cat Lea was the one

Now I have 2 Lati Lea ..Coco ,Miel and Byrul , they are just wonderful little things
I would love a Sugar Lea , Tan Lea and sleeping Lea Elf ...can you see and obsession forming ?

I'm glad they're doing another order so soon! I love my Lati Miel - and if/when I get another yellow girl I'm going to get a Lea! Her sad face is so precious.

 

I love all thelati yellows, especially pictures of little Byurl on Flickr. That little smiling face just makes me melt. Would someone like to share their Byurl pics here? It's a good thing I missed out on the Lati Yellow ordering period this time, or I would have added him to my list of dolls coming in.

 

I feel the same way about Byurl as I did about Miel at first - I didn't like her on the Lati website but on Flickr everyone's look so cute it makes me want one!

 

Did you see the picture of Byurl with a large doll, and a caption saying "Love my mommy"? That was it for me. I have to have one. All these tinies remind me of my son (almost 1 year old). Never would have thought I'd find such a new hobby once I became a stay-at-home mom, but what a fun hobby it is. Of course, staying home with my baby instead of going to work is a fun change, in itself. The problem is, with all the free time during naptimes and after he is asleep for the night, I find time to make purchases like these tiny dolls.

There was a Byurl SP for sale in the marketplace,but it is a girl I think.I guess there is both?? I almost got her, but hubby wouldn't cough up enough $$...lol
So, I hope I'll sell a couple of dolls before they open the sale.

Yeeks, I got behind! Thank you for the tip. I will try Internet Explorer instead of Mozilla. Hubby prefers Mozilla but I do have both.

I have been bitten by the Lati bug. They are just so cute. And at the moment I am so burned out with my Naraes. I love my Yo-Sd. She is so much fun and these little Lati yellow guys are adorable.

 

How hard are these guys to restring? I should add, I've never re-strung a doll...lol

Re-stringing - It is quite simple. I have restrung all of my dolls as I had to sand and/or blush or just plain put them together like the Unoas. I just did my Yo-SD and she was very easy. I do mark inside with a pencil the right side so I don't like things backwards. Whatever works for you, do as it will avoid problems later.

There are also some great tutorials on the forum that I watched a few times before trying it. So check those out too.

I got my pury and lumi a couple of days ago, Pury has tiny 8mm acrylic eyes and Lumi came with acrylics too. It makes sense for pury since I rarely see 8mm glass eyes if at all.

Do all yellows come with acrylics now, even though it says glass eyes will be sent?? Help!

Lati announced that they will be releasing Bunny version for Yellow & White on 8 Sep & basic re-opens in Oct for ordering.

No pics yets but it's time to start saving $$

 

Do those bunny (or cat) version hands come off like gloves, or are they permanently on?

I have to be careful, of what I look at on the computer, when Chelley is sitting with me. She wants all the cute things she sees. Anyone surprised?

 

They are magnetic parts, and the whole hand/foot or paw comes off. You can remove them completely and restring them with the original style of hands and feet. I didn't like the looks of the magnetic hands and feet, since the magnet part is longer and makes the joint look weird ... so the first thing I did with my Kitty Byurl is remove the paws and magnetic connectors and restring the original style hands and feet ... I probably shouldn't have ordered the Kitty version, but I thought the face-ups were so pretty.

 

Does anyone know when the new Yellow basic will be in stock again? Normally, how long does it take?

Also, how does the quality of the Lati dolls compare to Custom House?

I love Custom House faces ...but never liked the hip joints ..they drive me nuts ..but thats me
so I prefere Lati ...

but they are both beautiful quality and both well made and finished off ...I just think its down to personal taste

...Oh yes ...Custom house resin is very pale ...were as Lati there is a very definate normal and white resin

Lati Yellow are my favorites! Love their sweet, little faces! Those dresses are to die for, also!

 

I have a picture request. I would love to see a comparison of Lumi and Byurl. I just saw a Lumi on the marketplace, who is adorable. The only reason I didn't make an offer is that I want Lati with human ears, not elf. I love the Byurl face, and Lumi is a sweetie, too.

 

Heh, I have both of those! Here they are together:


Byurl is on the left, Lumi is on the right. Byurl has a regular face up, Lumi has a premium face up, and they are both have natural skin tone. Neither of them have elf ears...but Byurl's stick out a bit more because because I think "she" is intended to be a boy, but mine is a tomboy girl and I think her ears are so cute!
