New BJD Fan!

Welcome! I’m fairly new to the hobby myself, just got my first BJD last November, but have been having a great time so far and hope you do as well! Male dolls are definitely my preference, too.

 

Welcome! I don't have a lot of BJDs, and only one male, but it's always fun to meet new doll people!

 

Hello and welcome. I think I've been in the hobby for about 3 years. I began around the pandemic. I collect mainly male dolls in sizes between 60 to 75 cm. My largest male doll is 105 cm. I collect females as well between the sizes of about 20 cm to I think 61 cm. I also have some anthro bjds not sure size. I'm not sure where my soom humpty dumpty falls into.

 

I’m new too! I have a BJD head that is waiting on his body and no other dolls yet. The male dolls are definitely my favorite. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Welcome there are plenty of hobbyists who have or prefer the guys. You see different parts of the larger community in different places such as corners of instagram or certain company discussion threads here lean more guy or girl heavy than others.
In the old days I was first preferring the guys and met others like that on Flickr. I think after you have a doll, if you post pictures on a place with community aspects you will then draw in others who like what you like, and that's how a lot of people have met each other.
I hope you will have a lot of fun getting into the hobby!
