Never Have I Ever...

I have fallen in love with so many discontinued dolls this year. It hurts my heart so much.

Never have I ever attempted to resell a doll I had purchased. (there's such a thriving second hand market but..I can't imagine how hard it would be to give up a doll you bought)

 

I have very soon after I got him home too. Heartbreaking all round.

Never have I ever, posed a doll in a dramatic gesture and forgotten to take photos

 

I've forgotten to take pictures of my Amara balancing on one foot....four times. Each time it was to try out new clothes so I wasn't focusing on that as much but still....dangit!

Never have I ever made a pair of shoes for my doll of any kind.

 

Um...not for any BJDs. Do Pullip/Taeyang shoes count?

Never have I ever...made a yarn wig.

 

I have! But it was for a monster high doll though.... Does that count?

Never have I ever.... accidentally scratched my doll while changing hands/feet.

 

I have. Nova's got some minuscule chips in his lower arm where it meets his hands. Whups. I don't feel as bad as I could, though, since I did get his body for cheap secondhand and I'm not 100% sure I'm in love with it anyway.

I have hosted several doll meet-ups, ranging from 6 persons to 60 persons.

I have! I sent a head off for a faceup, a body off to be restrung and sueded, another body off to get a custom fit outfit, and soon I'll be sending a full doll off to be dyed and painted!

I actually make new characters for every doll I buy! I'm scared to use existing characters close to my heart, because what if the doll doesn't come out right and it ruins the character for me? Easier to make a whole new story that I am not overly attached too.

Oh man I wish I had never! I don't think a single one of my dolls except my Zaoll made it through the wiring process without scratches. Thankfully the only one that was on the outside was Chelle, who has scratches on one wrist from improper wiring Sorry girly

Never have I ever bought a wig that suited the doll/character on the first try.

 

I have! Though it was a simple pick, to be fair. Floor-length, straight, white. It's low quality and I'd like to replace it on those grounds alone, maybe try out bangs, a different style, etc... but this wig is the one I bought for her when I bought her, almost 3? Years ago, and it's still her primary to this day.

Same! Sort of? The mail lady did ask about the large box one of my girls came in, so I opened her up to show her. Mail lady said she liked her and went about her day.

Never have I ever owned a fantasy colored doll! (Though I've got my eyes on one...)

I haven't found a legendary item but I have found some pretty amazing props.
