Neither have I, I've been sorely tempted though. I saw one tattoo artist, I don't remember what she goes by but I think she's in Russia, that does beautiful things with color. I found her work in the bjd-database, it was a gorgeous neck-chest, carousel themed tattoo using a lot of pinks. I really want to find it again.

Neither have I, I'm very meticulous about my dolls wigs. I make sure that it's the right size because I'll end up hoarding off sized wigs if I don't. "It'll be useful someday!" -

Never have I ever bought a full doll. I have a habit of acquiring heads and than tracking down the bodies.

 

I have never had a doll by a body of water either.

Never have I ever taken naughty photos of my dolls. But I plan to sometime.

Never have I ever...ignored a stain on my doll just because I didn't want to deal with cleaning it. (Sorry Aelic, your wig stain may be eternal...)

I have, and I need to get some thimbles because my fingers really don't appreciate the abuse.

@KiyoshiSenshi this is a relatively new impulse project so I'm still fleshing out the character. All i know so far is he/she has a really goopy eye. This is basically going to be a giant mod project. I learned how to sculpt 3d scars on dolls and I really want to play with it more since the techniques aren't limited to just scarring. Plus since i can't find a winking head (other than Carter and Alice99), I want to try an eye open mod as well.

Never have I ever looked at a labor intensive doll project and felt like I was about to take down a dragon.

 

Doing that right now, actually... I'm afraid to start carving because I'm worried I might ruin the head. D:

I haven't but I'm planning to, I have a great idea for the "whole body make up" (if it's over all body, is it called body up?); nevertheless, I have no further plans for the character, so I just want to do her and find her a new owner.

Nah, I don't think I'd have my dolls in bed with me. Resin is nice to hold, but not really cushy enough to be conducive to sleep.

Missing by one day is enough to have me slamming my head against a wall. Well- if the sale included an item I really wanted. If it's just stuff that would be neat, I can usually hold off.

Never have I ever modded a dolls body. Gonna have to soon because Obitsu likes their necks DC kinda long. Not knocking DC's aesthetic, I actually really love it, just using it as a comparison.

 

I've done elf ear mods, but nothing on the body (yet, I'm planning to tone down some muscles on a Doll Legend boy body to better suit the character it's for, since it's too muscular)

Nah. I'd only dress a boy in girl clothes if it was really part of the character. Otherwise, I'd just get a girl!

No room available for large dioramas here, so it hadn't crossed my mind. But I wouldn't mind doing one somewhere down the road.

(@KiyoshiSenshi CandyKitten eyes are lovely. They have a really neat glow to the iris. Glad they're not closed for too long for you)

I really want to try sculpting! But I've got other irons in the fire, so when I finish those projects first.

I haven't done that, no. Dolls are just a hobby, and "real world" responsibilities come first. (Though I have put off menial things like dusting and laundry. It got done eventually though. :P )

Never have I ever...made a whole doll outfit without a sewing machine. (Or a regular needle and thread, for that matter... Ilya's outfit was all leather tools, embroidery thread, and eyelets.)
