Nendoroid Figures - Where to buy

Jun 21, 2021

    1. My kid is into anime and gaming and found a good smile figure they liked on Amazon and I told them to look them up to buy direct. The price was ridiculous on Amazon so would be better direct but I’m just wondering if there is a current US dealer for them. They want to make sure they are buying from a legit source.

    2. Bigbadtoystore is a US dealer that sells them! Chibi chop shop is also in the US and sells nendo parts.

    3. In my opinion, the best option (so you know for sure they're legit!) is actually direct from the source! GoodSmile USA

I have one I preordered from them that arrived not long ago, very nicely packaged (I also have a couple Pop Up Parade figures that were preordered), and a couple more pieces on preorder now. As a heads-up, unlike doll "preorders," Good Smile doesn't charge you until they're ready to ship, and they only give a couple days warning, but other than that it's a very smooth experience :)

    4. If it’s an older release (usually why it’s so expensive on Amazon), they might want to look into buying it preowned. My Figure Collection is a great website where people sell their figures. It’s also a great way to keep track of figures you own or want to own, and get information on dealers, and figure release dates.

I personally buy my nendoroids direct from Japan to avoid the huge markups in Canada. I buy from Amiami (huge preowned selection too), HobbyLink Japan, Hobby Search Japan and Solaris Japan.

    5. All good resources, thank you! They are now looking at the figures and the jointed dolls to possibly create OCs with. I’m trying to get them into bjd too, lol!

    6. Other than chibichopshop, there is a group on my figure collection i've used in the past to get certain parts for making OCs outa nendoroids, it focuses on splits for unreleased nendoroids, but also sometimes people sell parts there. (over all the site is nice too. I like how counterfeits are normally documented there when people stumble on them)

    7. There is also Tokyo Otaku Mode which sells a number of nendos from current and previous releases as well as a lot of other anime stuff from collectables to some plush and clothing.
also GoodSmile US will charge you for a preorder if you use PayPal instead of a credit card. At least in my experience.

    8. For preowned Nendoroids, you could also have a look at Mandarake and Surugaya which are both reputable Japanese second hand stores. I'm not sure how much they charge for shipping to the US though...
