eheh i don't know, seeing the wig size i think is a small head so maybe a 60cm body, i just i dunno which matches eheh

 

Me too..i'm quite dobtful for the wig size..even if according to neck measuraments the narin neck is about 11cm in circumference,that dosen't mean that the proportion would nicer on soom body XD

 

I guess the best choice to find easily a match could be pure white, as cream white could change form brand to brand...

 

its just a shame that they wont sell with a body choice i would buy her as a him :P

I just ordered her... in tan urethane. She will be my first LE, and I am totally smitten with her... I can't wait. I have nooo idea how long she will take. But she's too perfect.

I'm actually going to wait until she arrives to compare her to some bodies my mum has, see what matches... all while I save up for the means to get a body for her. :3

 

UHmm...you're right about chooing between white matte or french resin white.
As this is a LE head unfortunately the narin body with this head isn't avaible,but maybe you can mail as well to dolliefari INTL to see the reply.

For those who want to get the Narin or Narae body, first you should check out if she will work on the male body as the larger heads on the Narin/Narae bodies are not able to switch.
I love this head it is so incredible! I would think the WS would be easiest to match.
One thing, in the promo pictures she looks a little cross eyed, no?
In any event she is just amazing.

 

Wow, she is really beautiful! But so small! I'm very curious about the body she's shown on as well, because in both the news thread photos and these photos her head looks too delicately boned for the body. She'd probably look really excellent on the very fine and tiny Souldoll double body, but I have no clue whether either Souldoll resin color would match any of these urethanes. @__@ Whites are probably safest.

 

I bet she might look great on a Shinydoll body, it is very small and graceful.

 

Yeah, that was my first thought, but the sculpting styles are so different I would find it a bit jarring to go from such a willowy smooth figure to a very realistically detailed face.
If she took an 8in wig and 14mm eyes I wouldn't even be thinking twice and would already have one paid for, but...

 

Dollyholic, it's such a small run is there no chance she will be released again? There's no way I can afford her right now, though I desperatley want her. I feel such a fool getting so upset about a doll head! AGH!


RE bodies: what about the ringdoll new girl body? they are very very thin/delicate with small heads. They are a chinese company but the quality is really nice (I hve a full doll from them, and I really like it - I tend to be picky)

Not many dolls blow me away just on face alone, but she has - she is utterly gorgeous! I've just ordered her in the real skin, with the default face up. I'm a little worried about the stability of the french resin, though I think Narindoll has an additive to delay the yellowing (?)....anyway, it's great that she'll fit the Volks DD body, beauty and poseability!

She reminds me of Supia Rosy....I've had 2 in the past and she can wear a 7.5" wig no problem and has smallish eyes.

 

Wonderful head! I really need some more informations about it.

1) It is possible to have the same face up in picture?

2) Can we have some measurements to see if the head is compatible with the bodies we have?

 

Is she going to fit a Narae 60cm body and if so can we order just the body with the Neferti head?

The tan matches Volks DD as in the one made of vinyl? I don't really wanna put her on a vinyl body.

 

Oooh I wouldn't mind putting a regular resin head on a vinyl body, I don't think the FR would work as well.

 

In post #28 Dollyholic says the Real skin (light tan) works pretty well for DD. That resin colour is only available as FR; the tan for urethane is just 'tan matte urethane'.... (hoping I haven't got this wrong and need to amend my order.....

 

The Obitsu 50 cm vinyl body is incredible and handles smaller SD sized heads very well. I put a Shinydoll head on one and it's a near-perfect match.

This face is breath-taking. I saw the King Tut exhibit a few months ago and was very taken with the bust of Nefertiti they had in it. I wonder if the artist used that as inspiration? At the time I remember thinking what a beautiful face it would be for a BJD.

 

yaaaayyy!!! I've been waiting for her to be available. Placed my order for golden beige urethane - figured that would match something I have here.

 

I really want a voluptuous resin body for her. But where am I going to find a match for tan urethane or french tan?

 

I'm sure she will have a body when Bimong decides to make it, that's when I will wait to get her. She is very unique and looks like a 60cm Narae only way more grown up.

 

Dollyholic - I wonder if it would be ok to ask if you think the real skin (light tan) french resin, might be comparable with Angell Studio french resin. I know it's probably difficult to answer this just using pictures, but I'm just trying to compile research and a possible resin alternative to the Volks DD body!

The made-up Neferti doll shown in the sales page is in French tan resin. It looks very light compared to my tanned Angell Studio boy (not sure whether he's French or urethane though).



I don't have a picture of them side by side but I'm sure my tanned Angell Studio is also darker than my Iplehouse real-skin boy.

Santinian - Congrats on your order! I guess it won't be long until they are all gone...then the wait, probably a couple of months minimum, but that's just pure speculation.

Thanks for that photo of your Angell Studio boy, he looks like a nice caramel colour....Neferti, looks like she could have a touch more pink in there...it's gonna be hard to tell without seeing lots of dolls in person for comparison. It's a shame bodies aren't yet available seperately....oh well, I'm sure there will be more info on this in the next few days.

 

Her face is hypnotizing the shape of her jawline and the way her eyes are done seems very different from most of the other sculpts I've seen recently. Lucky I've already decided on a doll, or else I'd be kicking myself for missing this one xD

 

Maybe this head suits good on new Raurencio Studio body,just IMO.

 

She looks a lot like my mother. o_o Which is strange for me. Growing up, i almost never saw anyone who looked anything like my mom. There weren't a lot of koreans living in the STL area in the 1980's.

Santinian - Yes, it's just as well it's only the head for now, otherwise there would have been no way I could have afforded her. Part of the reason I jumped at the chance was the possibility of using the Dollfie Dream body, of which I have 2 at the moment. I have no problem with her sharing a body....though the resin/vinyl mix might be strange and not everyone's cup of tea, I'm willing to try it out!

Batchix is gorgeous, it's no wonder.
I think that you can mix the resin/vinyl, you just have to be mindful sometimes with clothes. Maybe some Isadora Duncan scarves!
