Narae/MNF/Unoa slim mini shoe thread

Mar 21, 2008

1. 14" kish shoes fit quite perfectly on minifee, booip. :)

2. Based on your post and Fen's response, I ordered high boots, low boots, and sandals. They came quicker that I expected. The boots and sandals fit fine on my Minifees, but there are a couple of issues:

The zipper pulls on the boots are apparently for zipping, but not unzipping. My wife and I both tried, and she found that the only way to unzip the boot was to gently pull on each side of the zipper as if it was Velcro. No big deal, assuming they are supposed to work that way. They zip up just fine.

The sandals look really cool, but there is no way to keep them on the doll's foot while posing. There is a buckle on the heel, but it really doesn't keep the straps under tension. I really like them, and if anyone else knows a simple way around the problem, let me know!

Pictures after I finish sorting and posting the pictures from Sakura-con, which may take a while...

~Ranma

3. When I had a Minifee, I bought her some Mary janes and some boots from a store on eBay (Deb's Adorables) that were listed as Lark, Raven, Wren, and Piper. The Mary janes fit perfectly, the boots are a littles snug to pull on, but once on they are great. I cannot find my pics of them right now as I am not near my main computer and they aren't up on my Flickr, but they stand very well in them. Once I find the pics I will update the post :)

Edit: They are very inexpensive but well made shoes

4. Here is an advisory based on footwear items I have recently received purchased for the Narae arched foot for high heel shoes:

The Narae high heel (arched) foot does fit some shoes that are made for the Tonner brand 22”American Model hard plastic fashion doll and she can “free stand” in ones that have the correct heel height.

Not all shoes being marketed to fit the AM doll foot will fit Narae’s arched foot. Even if they do fit the foot some shoes have too short heel length and some have too high a heel length for her to “free stand” stably wearing the item.

Do not be tempted by this pair of Tonner brand AM boots because they cannot be put on Narae’s arched foot because they are not wide enough in the ball of the foot and too short in the toe length.

And, this pair of Tonner brand Am boots (brown or black color) will fit nicely on Narae’s arched foot but the heel height is too short for her to stand stably in them.

This pair of Tonner brand AM boots do fit very well and Narae can stand stably in them.

Disclaimer : all replications of an item are bound to have variations within the same size for finished products. The item you or I possess and attest to fitting in a certain way maybe smaller/larger in some places than the "exact" same item in another person’s possession.

5. that is such a great idea as I can't seem to find any mnf shoes I like. Luts is all sold out!

6. Hi! I just want to let you know that these shoes from rRabbit fit Minifee feet perfectly.

She has stockings on the above photo, but they're very thin and the shoes would still fit just fine without them.

Here she is standing steadily with them on:

I will be buying another pair from them soon. I'll let you know if they fit! :)

7. Thanks to all of you for your great informations!:fangirl:
Beautiful dolls and nice pics from them too ...

8. Hi!
Please excuse my bad English :)
My question is: does Minoruworld's footwear fits Fairy Land MiniFee girls feet?
I think that footwear from "Junior" line of shoes will be the one, is this true?
Unfortunately, i can't find any of this information on forum or internet.

9. Yes, they're actually a really good fit -- better than most!

10. Ashbet, thank you very much for your reply! When I buy the shoes, take photos and show them here :)

11. Hi! It's been a while since I last explored the forum. ^^

Here's a shot of my Narae in her hh feet wearing a pair of 22" American Model heeled sandals I got off Ebay (Sherry Yang? or Paul) They fit pretty well, but after a year, the front T-bar strap came off from all the stretching. The material's pretty thin and fragile-ish. She can stand unaided in these. :)

I'm planning to get a few heels from Facets by Marcia, but I'm stuck on deciding which pairs to get. Lol.
Will hopefully share more photos again soon!

12. Were you able to fix the strap (glue or a stitch?), or are the shoes ruined? (If fixable, I love them -- they look fab!!)

<3!

13. Andi Yes! I applied Super Tacky Glue and the heels survived! XD

14. Oh, excellent -- glad to hear it! :aheartbea

15. Has anyone else had any experience with rRabit shoes? I love so many of the styles they have, but I don't know if I want to chance it myself.

16. Hi again folks, I'm also looking at American Model shoes and I'm wondering if I want to use those for my MiniFee, will high heel feet be necessary?

17. Those shoes you linked should fit a MNF girl, although they'll be chunky. (I wonder if the "Obitsu 60cm" is a typo -- usually, 43cm dolls would wear a totally different shoe size!)

American Model shoes fit Narae high-heeled feet, so they should fit MNF high-heeled feet -- definitely won't fit flat feet.

Good luck!

18. Absolutely.
Here is my shushu wearing the American Model "perfect 10" boots. They are snug even on the heeled feet.

19. We gotta update this thread. I am hoping to get a MNF soon. What about 14" Kish shoes??

20. I just got a whole bunch in the mail, so I'll try to take some photos this weekend. :)

21. I have some 14" Kish shoes and they fit my Unoas and Minifees like a dream.

22. I really dont know where I can post this as
I am confused with the rules but still havent found a place where I can purchase nice flats for my unoa girl

23. try Deb's Adorables on Ebay. Her 14" Kish, Lark, Piper - shoes fit nicely on both minifee and unoa. (just scroll down the left sidebar until you see the link).

24. My minifee wear 14" Kish shoes - heres my Shushu Angel in her brogues

25. Looking forward to more pics. :)

26. Does anyone know if Evangeline Ghasthly or Ellowyne Wilde shoes fit Slim Minis with high heel feets?

27. i think that they both have feet that are too small, roterwolkenvogel, though the shoes made for the resin version of evangeline ghastly might fit. looks like ellowyne wilde is about 4.7cm.

i dunno that i posted these up yet. little miss matched mary jane flats fit mnf high heel feet. this pair has been strained a little across the strap and it is separating on one side on one shoe, but they've been used a lot by the time that happened.

28. fenris I already feared that OTL Though I should soon be able to test it myself as I'm getting some of their outfits that also come with the shoes xD

29. Ellowyne shoes are way too small (but do fit ChicLine!). Someone on Flickr said that some of the boots for the *resin* (not vinyl -- they have different foot sizes) Evangeline Ghastly fit, but it may be the case that some do and some don't.

Ellowyne clothes generally fit Narae/MNF/small-bust Unoa, although you may have to take their hands off to put their arms through the sleeves.

-- A <3

30. it's taken over a year of heavy use of these to get them to start breaking. they're soft vinyl, so kinda stretch. they are painted and are white underneath, so it's noticeable. i think i'm going to see what adding some glue does to help stabilize the tear.

31. I just realised now that I never posted that Lorifina shoes fit Slim Minis perfectly. The downside is that it's a discontinued fashion doll by Hasbro which means you'd need to get them off eBay - on the upside they are between $ 5 - $ 15 per pair and if you are in the US you can even luck out and get free shipping (if you are not, you mostly pay as much shipping as you pay for the shoes itself).

They are made out of soft vinyl (? this is me guessing), therefore able to stretch a bit and they are a fine alternative for cheaper shoes if you (like me) tend to spend copious amounts of money on the dresses and completely forget to pick up shoes /ahem

32. I love those Lorifina shoes, they're adorable. There's a few of them on eBay right now, but unfortunately they refuse to ship to Europe.

As said before, shoes for 22" American Model dolls and resin Evangeline Ghastly usually fit Minifee high heel feet. They can't stand in all of them though. Shoes by Paul Zhangby on eBay are so wonderful and they're relatively affordable, I own quite a few. I just discovered these I hadn't seen before, available in many colours but I'll probably get them in red:
www.ebay.nl/itm/Sherry-22-Tonner-Am...44?pt=US_Dolls_Bears_Toys&hash=item43b9b9b664

33. Wow, those shoes look so cute on the girls! I've never thought that Lorifina shoes could fit a slim msd! Thanks for the info! :)

34. Evelien,Can those pair of shoes fit the slim MSD feet, cause I bought a couple of his shoes too, but they were stated as MSD size, so they could fit my MSD dolls. But for the other sizes, I've asked him about the fitting but he doesn't seem to reply me yet. So I was wondering if the pair of red boots that you've posted could fit a slim MSD feet that are size 5.4 cm ?

35. Well, as I said, shoes for 22" American Model dolls and resin Evangeline Ghastly should fit slim mini's high heel feet. All of the shoes I and other DoA members bought from this category for their MNFs, seem to fit. The red boots were shipped to me today, I'll probably have them in 2-3 weeks, and once I have them I'll definitely post the result.

36. Evelien, alright thanks for the info! :D

37. So the 22" Tonner American Model dolls shoes sold by Paul Zhangby fit perfectly MNF with high heel feet.

As you can see on this picture, I manage to make my MNF stand with them without any help.

But unfortunately I've tried to put these shoes on my WD Priscilla with her high heel feet, but they didn't fit, her feet were a little bit too large.
So these shoes don't fit every 1/4 slim dolls ( although when I bought this pair they were supposed to fit slim MSD dolls ...)

38. Oh yeah, what you say about Withdoll girls is true, their feet are just slightly too large. BUT DreamingDoll girls have tiny high heel feet with the same arch, they do fit into these shoes :)

39. I bought some of the Paul Zhangby boots for my Narae's high-heel feet -- they do fit (quite well!), but she will not stand independently in them. With a stand, she can do a bunch of cute poses, though, and they look great on a seated doll, as well!

Here's Sparrow wearing a black lace-up pair:

I bought the purple metallic scrunch boots, too, but I haven't tried them on anyone yet.

40. @Evelien, do you happen to know by any chance how to purchase some shoes by Farcets by Marcia? A while back, I saw some shoes by her on your Flickr account, that I really liked. Just recently I bought some high heel feet for one of my Minifee's here on DOA, and now I have the feet but no shoes. So I tried to purchase the shoes that I had seen on your FLickr account for my doll. I found Farcets by Marica and I send her an email a little over a week ago, but I never received a response. So maybe you know how to get in touch with her, or you might know some other place to get some shoes for my doll? I would appreciate any information you might have. Thanks!:)

@Ashbet, your doll looks very nice on that picture! Not just the shoes, the entire outift, she is really beautiful.

41. Sending an email is the way to go. She then sends an invoice that you can pay. She usually replies within a day to new orders, I'm not sure what's going wrong here since her website doesn't list any conventions she could be at right now, perhaps she's sick..?

42. Thank you so much, Evelien! I will just wait a while longer and then maybe send nother email? Maybe she is sick like you said, or possibly on a vacation? Today I found some shoes by Paul Zhangby on eBay and they are for 22" Tonner American Model/Resin Evangeline Ghastly and I remembered, that you said that they would fit Minifees. So I orderd one pair of those, at least that way I have something. But thanks again, for you information on the shoes by Marcia, I will let you know how that worked out! :)

43. I got the shoes by Marica; she eventually replied to my email. I guess, she was out of town for the weekend. But the shoes are really cute, and fit very well. I would put up a picture, but I don't know how one can put pictures on here? Sorry.:(http://www.ipernity.com/doc/301511/23702479 I hope, this link will work.:)

44. It's not easy to share pictures from ipernity. Possible, but not easy. I usually use Flickr or imgur.com for that :)
I have the same shoes by the way, they're adorable aren't they? :D

45. Yes, these shoes are adorable. I saw them first on one your pictures on FLickr, and since I liked them, I wanted to get them for my doll too!:) I saw several other shoes on Marica's page that I liked, so I might get another pair sometime soon.
I have pictues on FLickr and ipernity, but I can't upload anything on here from Ipernity or Flickr. I can get pictures on ravelry from Flickr or ipernity; I take pictures of my knitted outfits sometimes and put them on ravelry so I know that works. But I can't put anything on DOA,tough. Anway, once my shoes from Paul Zhangby arrive, I will put up a link here!:)

46. If you want help posting a picture from Flickr here, pm me :). It's not that hard actually.

I'm wondering about something... the shoes I got for my MNF heeled feet, also fit perfectly on my Narae's heeled feet. BUT she's completely unable to stand in them. Has anyone been able to get their Naraes to stand up in heeled shoes using the heeled feet..?

47. My girl wears nothing but heeled shoes with heeled feet and so far she's been able to stand in everything. But a few facets by marcia boots are a bit harder to balance because the heel is crooked and they bend the ankle forward too much. She's a hybrid but has the Narae body; examples: 1 2 3 4 (in the last one my Narae is borrowing the feet because she only has the flat ones).

48. Okay.. I finally managed but she has to lean backwards really unnaturally or she'll fall over on her face :-\

49. http://www.ipernity.com/doc/301511/23842223 This is the link to the pic with the new shoes by Paul Zhangby, which arrived today! I love them, they are so cute. My doll can't stand very well in thoses shoes, but I will try to take some better pictures soon!:) BTW, thanks so much Evelien for helping me find all these cute shoes!:) Your advice on this shoe thread is really helpful to people like me, who have NO idea where to find cute shoes for the dollies! About the pics, I will try to put some better ones up on Flickr and then maybe you can show me how to get them on here. I will pm you! thanks so much for offering to help, very nice of you!:) Oh, I REALLY love the pics of your Fairyland Family on your Flickr account! They are so cute, and totally realistic looking! I could look at them forever!

50. Your girl looks awesome in those shoes!!!

Thanks so much and it's my pleasure. I'm having so much fun shoe shopping for my Minifees and I want others to have the same fun :D

51. Thanks so much, Evelien!:) I really like the shoes too! I can see how you have fun shoe shopping for the dollies, because there are really some very cute ones out there!:)

52. Sparrow is one of my favourite Naraes. :aheartbea

I need your wisdom guys, I'm looking for a cute doc martens boots for my Narae but every I found looks big and nothing realistic. Did you know where can I find some please?

53. Hi I dont have a Narae but plenty of Minifee but I belief they have similar size feet. I found Releaserains Dr Martens look good and fit well. Get Matt /14" Kish size for the best fit.

54. Releaserain (Ada) on ebay has cute Doc Martens Boots they are a bit big innersize is 6cm they are listed in the Unoa section however.

55. Thank you!! I saw them but it doesn't convince me. But on Samson's mnf looks great! Provably I will try them :D

56. I've tried many 22" American Model shoes from Paul Zhangby, but has anyone tried the same size shoes from Releaserain? They should also fit.
http://stores.ebay.com/Releaserain/...42387011&_sid=181564781&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

Speaking of Paul Zhangby, he has a few new models that are very cute:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-American...359?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4610f4d097
http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-Tonner-A...781?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item460fd2a8fd
http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-Tonner-A...594?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43bc008952
http://www.ebay.com/itm/22-American...370?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43bc2ebc92
All of these are available in many colours and as always, his shoes are highly afforable. I don't know how he does it...
