I have no time to be antsy about anything, or even take pictures. ;_; lol

 

I received a SD10 Swarrico girl body today for my Chesi! I had forgotten how much I love the Swarrico body.
Now I hope to be able to get some proper pictures of her soon. Until then I'll just spam Instagram. Haha.

 

Good news! Finally received reply from Napi, they posted Rogebell on the 7th, and it's in Melbourne already, so should get my head on Monday!!!!

Hope everyone else's arrive soon.

ETA: OOOOH! I just checked my own order status and there is a tracking number! It's not working yet, but I'll give it 24 hours and check again, before I worry- hopefully, my ladies are on their way! *happy dance of excitement*

 

I've been so busy getting ready to move I haven't had a chance to take pics of my ladies on their new bodies... T^T

My own girls arrived yesterday! *flails in excitement* They are way too cute for words and I LOVE Dreamy Rogebell's expression, she just looks so peaceful I'm so pleased with them!

Sorry girls, not ignoring you, I have been very busy sewing. Yes, my Roge arrived as expected and is settling in with her body. The resin match isn't terrific but it'll do and I will post pics when I have given her a face-up. Love all the spam of your new arrivals, they are gorgeous!

 

I can't believe Ive never heard or seen of this company before. Ever since Xanadu Dolls told me of her plans and of the head sculpt, I got curious and Im hooked to them ! I haven't seen anything remotely as cute as these sweethearts ! Im hoping they rerelease or sculpt newer heads because all Ive been seeing is sold out all over the page XD

Second Banshee - Your Aurora really did me in - gorgeous ! Both of them are cute but Im just partial to Aurora

Xanadu Dolls - Im happy she finally arrived ! Im kinda saddened to know the resin match isn't perfect, perhaps lightly sanding, or using the mr.superclean sponge all over the body to reveal a newer layer of resin color ? If Im being honest with you, I dont think that would make much difference since the body tone is almost exactly like my newer Volks dolls with slight mellowing. Im keeping my eye on this thread because Im really interested on seeing how your character turns out

 

Xanadu: That's great to hear that she turned up finally, and I totally understand the whole 'resin match isn't perfect', hahaha when I finally get around to photographing my girls properly, you'll see that my OE girl is a gorgeous creamy colour and her body is practically a banana >.<;;; What body did you get your lady? I'm sure you've posted that, but I can't remember D8

HardCandy13: I agree- they're really sweet, very cute, and I love their distinctive look ^_^ Thank you so much for the kind words about my Aurora- I actually had a Napidoll Rogebell before this girl and D8 I sold her for some silly reason. So now I have her back and I don't think she'll be going anywhere.

 

Maybe someone can help me: How much does shipping cost to Europe? I'm planning to buy Napi's head

And could you please tell me how long you waited for your head?

 

If I remember it's $20 for EMS for a head. ^^
I took airmail for my Rogebell and it took over a month to get here once shipped!D:
So I would recommend EMS to save you from the fear that the package has gone missing.
I don't remember the waiting times though... But it wasn't too bad. ^^

 

Oh my god, that is way too much cute. I'm so jealous, I wish I could have gotten a dreaming Roge too. ;-;

My ladies are mummified and packed up right now. Probably won't get pictures of them on their bodies until i get to Japan. Even though I've had the bodies for two months my life has been super hectic and leaving no time for my ladies v.v

My Pekato is here! I'm currently talking to someone on the MP about a body for him, so now I just need to book a faceup artist. Waiting for slots to open on the first of the month, hopefully. But here's Aubrey with his wig and eyes, at least! Stuck him on my Luts JDF body for the photo - actually a pretty good match!

Hyper, I love my LM bodies. The match is great for new napi resin and the bodies themselves are nice. I suggest the B body for maximum mobility!

Going to put them back together this weekend. ^^

Yes it is my lm body and no it didn't. I unstrung all my dolls tho pack them easier in my carry on luggage when I moved to Japan. Xp I need my forceps, going to try and find a pair tomorrow.

Chesi head has a giant neck opening ... So does it have any gapping on the little monica body?

 

XD thanks, I needed a better way for them to travel. Took my inspiration from the pink zippered cushions LTF used to come with!

But it seems there is a hair of gapping. You honestly can't tell unless you're looking. Here is a pic, mind you this is the original head. Shoulda grabbed the renewal that I have x.x



Edit: the fit of the revival head is a lot better imho. If you would like a pic of that just say the word. ^^

 

Oh yes please!! chesi renewal has a slightly smaller opening than the original?

i tried my only SD size body which is a sqlab DG59 with my chesi renewal head ... And the gapping is huge! Lol

 

I hardly notic it on either head, tbh. This is the renewal. The neck hole is slightly different upon close inspection.

Lol I really like them. They're great bodies. Nice and poseable, the resin is clean and smooth as well, minus a few seam lines. The NS matches new and old Napi resin very well. Currently saving for a third. ^^

 

Crapy cell pic of Myth all put back together (and standing on carpet no less!) My ladies need some serious camera time. Maybe this weekend if it doesn't pour....

 

She looks adorable! Can't wait to see the Chesi's all put together too!
