Napidoll Discussion Part 1

Hi guys I am going to order Agabell in white skin. I'm trying to decide what body I want to put her on. I tried to search, but does anyone know if she would fit on a Luts Delf girl body? If I get her a delf body, I want white skin, but if she wouldn't work on that body, I'll get her in normal skin and put her on a Volks SD10 body. I know the two white skins wouldn't totally match but I don't care, I just want to know if she'd fit!

I'm also seriously considering getting Lumiere too. Would he fit on a Delf boy body? What boy bodies besides Volks have you put your Napidoll boys on?

 

Shawnee: ^_^ Heya you ! I think they should work just fine on those bods, considering they are the same size as F-60, and we have the wonderful Bandersnatch in here with her Rogebell on an F-60, who looks just adorable! And the Luts skin should match very closely in white- I believe they are close to Volks resin matching now!

That's fantastic news I was initially thinking senior delf girl body, but it looks like too much boobage for the Young little Agabell x3 So delf girl body it is!! I know the Napidoll white is a little pinkier, but I love body blushing so I can always do that x3

You know what I've noticed lately, btw? You have great taste in dolls :P



edit; I feel very stupid. How on earth do I pay them? The only option is "Bank Deposit" and it claims it's the same as paypal. What should I do? D: Do they have an automatic invoice like other companies? Or will I have to send the payment directly to their paypal? (That would suck because paypal won't let US customers do that anymore...)

I ordered her body last night, hopefully it isn't too bad of a hybrid ^^ I'll let you guys know how it goes when they both get here! I don't think I want the delf boy body for Lumiere though...I want something with a tad more define muscles.

XD Thanks. Honestly all I could see was derp on her face too in the beginning, lol! But I saw owner pics of her and I just...couldn't handle it. She's so funny and unique looking and I regret to this day not getting a Rogebell when I had the chance. I'm so excited for her I've already got things going. I'm getting her custom Mehiart eyes, custom outfit, I just have to find a good wig... I had one, but my dog freaking chewed it up.

Speaking of Agabell, does anyone here have one? Or Lumiere?

I have been thinking of a Delf body for my incoming Rogebell.....even though I think Mirodoll is a much cheaper option, I'm not sure if I like them

Funny enough she had the Lumiere head too, which also made me take the leap! Though I ordered my boy blank because I want a darker faceup for him.

Yeah, I'm not TOO picky about bodies because mostly they don't even get seen, but I've been wanting a white skin delf body for some reason so it worked out, lol.

 

ok....trying to find a body, for those that have either of these two....can you help me, trying to decide if AOD resin is closer to napidoll or if Volks is better

Oh! Oh! Has anyone else seen the new Dreaming Rogebell???
I think I'll have to bring her home!! The real question is, do I get her as an alternate head for Margo, or as a separate doll to be her sister? NS or WS?? Decisions!! >w<

 

She's sooooo cute, isn't she, Bander?? ^_^ I think she's definitely coming here. I love the dreamy expression on her head- I just wasn't 100% on my normal Rogebell. So this is perfect for me. I think I'll be getting her in WS- my question is if I get two and have one with modded/ custom shaped eyes as well

Hi Shawnee, I think I may be able to answer some questions.... I have Agabell in NS and Lumiere in NS. They both have a skin tone similar to Luts Real Skin Normal it is very light almost a white with a pinkish undertone.

I have my Agabell on a FantasyDoll white boy body which is slim with a short neck. There is a very slight gap when you put the head on this body- I think the neck measures 9cm while the delf girl body is 8cm. So there would be a slightly larger neck gap. Napidoll does recommend SD10 because they have a wider neck. Don't know about the resin match though. But my delf hands from 2007 are a pretty good match except for being a little whiter.

As for Lumiere his head is very big XD. He looks sorta ok on a delf body but you can see that his head is larger. I have mine on a senior delf body (65cm) from 2012 in real skin normal. He looks good but I think on a 70cm body he would look even better! XD

Not only that Lumiere is a gorgeous head as are all of Napidolls heads. I hope I've helped some, good luck

 

Sooo... I ordered Rogebell and Dreaming Rogebell I decided to give Rogebell another go... I might mod her eyes more, or I might not, but this time I got her with a faceup. I asked for a faceup like Dreaming Rogebell, so we'll see how that goes ^_^ I have two SD10 Suwarrico bodies coming home soon, so they'll have their own bodies. Now I have to find wigs and eyes, and we're set ^_^

 

Congrats on your new purchase, banshee. I really like the face up the dreaming version has.

I'm super excited for two reasons today!
Firstly, I received my Flower Pink Hoodie Set from Volks, so Margo has an adorable new outfit!! (pictures coming soon I promise!)
And secondly I ordered a Dreaming Rogebell too! Yaaay! Margo is getting a sister!! I ordered her in Normal Skin with the default faceup, cause it's super cute!

I finally got around to my Pekato.

Just a quick phone photo on my volks body because i accidently let my unoa zero's body fall apart and im too tired to mess with it xD

In person, i can't notice a difference with the Unoa zero body at all, i took some flash photos with my camera though, and you can tell the head is lighter. (My body is yellowed too though)
You could have to get make a piece to fit the head to the unoa body or mod the neck, i just stuck some kneeded eraser in it to hold it on.

Volks body of course in person and flash is a noticeable difference.

 

MG Bandersnatch! If it wasn't for your gorgeous girl, I wouldn't have ventured into this size doll!! It was love at first sight when I saw your Margo, but Rogebell wasn't available at the time. Saw Agabell and was tempted, but something held me back . . . obviously for a damn good reason. Then today, reading your blog, I got inspired all over again and I ordered my Rogebell head (just in the nick of time too!), so there looks like being quite a family of these lovlies in Australia.

BTW What's the normal turn around time on these?

Banshee - Haha nice spotting! I did remove the pompoms, it was super easy too! Just took a little bit of pulling and they popped right off! XD

captainkyo - Wow! Pekato makes a beautiful girl! She seems very graceful & elegant! She looks nice on that body too! I'd love to see her on the Unoa Zero body too (or even just her head on the torso!) I'm always looking out for more positive Napidoll resin matches!

Xanadu Dolls - Ahaha~ I always feel humbled when I hear someone reads my blog! >///< And even more so that I inspired you to get your own Rogebell! Congrats on your order, I'm so glad you decided to jump on in and get her! Margo was my first proper "SD" sized doll too! She took a bit of getting used to, but I just loved her from the moment I opened her box! XD
Oh and regarding turnaround; I asked when I placed my order and Napidoll said it'd be around 1-2 months, I'm hoping she'll be home in time for Easter!

 

Bandersnatch: I enjoy reading dolly blogs, especially those more BJD focused. In time for Easter would be really great, I love chocolate, but Rogebell would be better than an ol' Easter egg any day! (and better for my waistline too)

I am so excited! A friend of mine had a Napidoll Naya head I was able to take home on layaway, I am thinking I'll get her a feeple60 body but either way, I can't wait to bring my Naya home after falling in love with my friends almost 2 years ago now.

I don't know if Spirit Doll resin matches Napidoll, but you can find lots of info all throughout the thread by searching and there is also this thread all about Napidoll resin matching! >w< I'm really hoping that with some new Napidoll owners coming in there might be even more info on compatible bodies!

Hi guys! My napidoll Winfred that I orderd from the marketplace arrived yesterday. He's really cute! The image below was taken by his previous owner.



His faceup is nice but I may get him repainted. I can't find any other Winfred's on DOA. Such a shame! He does have a slightly awkwardly shaped head cap - it's very small and shallow and almost square shaped. It limits what wigs he can wear. I fixed it by stuffing some paper in his wig before putting it on, which gives him more of a crown XD

 

Oh wow he's really cute! I don't think I've ever seen one of them around, what a lucky find Sillypeach! I hope to see more pictures of him in the future!

Ah, that's smart thinking Mistress! It'd be a shame to buy a body only to find out her hooves don't fit!

WOOP!!! Guys!!!!!! My heads are in Miamiiiiiiiii!!!! If customs doesn't decide to be a bunch of meanie faces I SHOULD have my heads by the end of this week, if they keep to their "one week in customs" deal I've previously experienced.

Aside from that I"m at the 25 day mark (as of Friday the 21st) with my bodies. Which means I'm about 15 business days from Little Monica's posted max time for the Harmony bodies I ordered!!! So the twins will have bodies soon and I can begin making cloths for them!~ And once I know the hooves for Myth will fit on the bodies I"ll be ordering a third, plus 2 pairs of high heel legs for Myth as well!~ XDDDD

Can you tell I'm super excited!?!?!?!?

Purchasing some new Spring Leeke wigs for the twins (proper and travel wigs) as well as a Lilac Fer for Myth!!!! I'm getting there slowly!!!! xp

Speaking of Myth! I plan on blushing her hooves once I can get my hands on some MSC and I get the twin's bodies from LM. ^^

 

I've missed you guys!!!! I got my Little Monica bodies while I was away on holiday in DC!!!! I did a quicky box opening video and I plan on taking some quick pics tomorrow since after my test I plan on passing out, so no picks until tomorrow! I did get some freebies though, necklace, hair clips, candies, mini teddy as well as heel feet for both bodies! I planned on getting the heel leg parts, but it seems like I won't have to!

Funny thing about this picture though, and all the others I just posted with the twins, is that Bubble Gum has red eyes in, since I don't have any extra. I used the red I fixer in Lightroom to change them to brown... which is better than blood red
