Not sure if this really helps anyone, but more resin comparisons are always useful!
Here's Napidoll White Skin with Little Monica Normal Skin.

It's pretty close! Napi WS is just a fraction paler, so Napi NS would probably match alright!

ALRIGHT! After QUITE a bit of searching I found the reference photos that Shuri graciously posted for me of her Roge on an LM body (NS) as well as a pic from Elsii of her Roge on an NS LM!~ So I'm still going to go for LM bodies. They look great, match well, head/neck is proportionate and the resin is a good match! ^^

I like the articulation of the Supia body (and the lowered cost) but what's the NS resin match and how well does the neck fit the head?

 

I cant remember now that i try and think about it.
It's been a while, my bf's aunt has that hybrid.
Ill have to stop by and look at her again xD

I just remember that the look and proportion was so nice~

As for me, I'm probably going to stick with LM. Ordering soon, once I decide on if I want to get the heel legs as well... they're so pretty but they would add an extra $140 to the cost, and that's cash that can go to faceups and outfits.... x.x

 

I was thinking about these eyes from Licht for Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum, what do you guys think? Too cartoony or perfect? I've been eyes ing them for a while, but I also want normal eyes for them too.... considering getting two sets for all 3 of my girls since I would like Myth to have blind eyes as well as the sparkly purple ones I want.... thoughts???

Also, does anyone know which are the peach red and which are the regular red? I want the pink ones but of ciurse they can't just call it pink.... or label anything......

Pekato arrived~ The head is much bigger than my Narasaki's xD (of course colour is much paler too)

Ill have to see how i feel after a faceup some eyes and a wig~

Hi everyone sorry I disappeared from this thread but my Lumiere head arrived Friday. As promised I will take pictures of him on several bodies when I get home from the doll meet. Congratulations to everyone who got their shipping notices/ heads! So excited to see pictures!

I'm really holding out for some new releases from Napidoll... I like the way their sculpting is going lately, with different artists around to give different things... I wonder what will be next?

 

I agree Banshee!!! While I haven't purchased any of the new heads from Napi it's nice to see that they have some sort of variety!!!

I think I'm ready to buy my two LM bodies!~ I've decided against the heel legs for now, though I do want them in the future. Myth will have to share with Dolce until I can get her a body, but at least the twins will have their own, and they'll be off to get faceups by the end of January if all goes well!!! I'm very excited!!! Should be placing the order next week sometime, I haven't had a chance to sit down and freak out about it lately! lol

The resin match is really good. I think the head looks pretty good on the body.

YUP! Eludy's isn't opening slots until late February though so it will have to wait until then. But, at least I'm ready to send them!~ lol

Awe your Roge looks so sweet Hyper!~ XD I do have a few things in mind, pink and blue DD-esque for the twins and purple and sparkly for Myth. Going to buy their eyes from Mako after the bodies have been purchased. I"ll have some time on Tuesday to get it done so that's when I'll sit down and do that. xp

 

Oooh that sounds awesome, Mistress love that idea, your girls will look amazing!! I remember you posting a head comparison pic a while back ... But thought i'd ask you anyway, what's the difference between the Chesi renewal and the original Chesi heads??

 

Not much tbh, the only real difference I can see is the resin quality. I like the newer resin a lot better, it's got tooth where as the old resin has almost none making it more shiny without a faceup. The old resin seems to be whiter? It might be the light reflection making it seem that way though. Aside from the difference in resin there really is no difference in composition, though I feel that you can see the teeth more on the old version, but that might be me because sometimes they looks the same size and other times I'm like

Interesting Mistress I can see what you mean about one being just slightly shiny - but with a faceup you won't be able to tell! I'm excited to see your girls with faces! Did you ever get the right wigs for your girls?

 

Uhg no, x.x There is one from Licht that I think would suit Bubble Gum well, and I'm still searching for a non Leeke one for Cotton Candy that has enough curl..... Not a lot of curly light blue wigs out there as far as I can see. And Myth has had hers (from when I got the hooves from you), but I found another cute one I want for her, it's also Licht.

Since I have to wait until the end of Feb to send them to Eludy's I'm going to buy their eyes and wigs after the bodies tomorrow. But I am going to put Myth on my Volks body today and get some pictures of her. She's been neglected T^T

Mistress: If you can find a curly style you like on FormyDoll, they actually take custom orders ^_^ It's a pretty straightfoward process too, and they're pretty easy to talk to ^_^

 

Ah I think you're getting me and Second_Banshee confused again Mistress! ^^; I believe she sold you the Beryl hooves~ I was just about to suggest For My Doll! I've never ordered a custom wig, but I've got many of their In Stock styles and they're really nice wigs, very soft and easy to style!!
Hmm yeah curly blue wigs are kinda hard to find! There's a few around on ebay! But I don't know where else to look... Best of luck in your search!

Mistress: Teehee, ;P I don't mind being confused with Bander, she's a pretty top chick! But I get like that- there's nothing wrong with being picky! And like she said, the FMD wigs are fantastic- I have a few of their in-stock wigs as well, and love them ^_^

 

How do you do the custom colors? I really like the K-002 but I don't see it in the color I want, the heat resistant F8 they have pictured in some of their pre-order wigs. xp

I feel bad though b/c I always do that with you two, I'll get it one day x.x lol

 

Hehe, you actually just email/ message them! I recommend just screen shotting the wig and details of it that you want, and then the colour, and emailing them ^_^

I wonder- do you think Napidoll will eventually do their own bodies??

 

I hope they do, it would be a lot easier than shopping and saving for bodies separately! x.x

I"m thinking about ordering from FMD as well, still deciding though, and between eyes and bodies it might have to wait a little while.

Hope you guys don't mind the intrusion, but can any of you tell me what bodies, apart from Volks will take the Napidoll Agadoll head? Will it go on a FL MiniFee?

 

Minifee is WAY too small. It fits on the FL f60 body i dunno about 65, also fits supiadoll

 

Yes, Napidoll heads are definitely SD sized! Ideas for bodies: Little Monica Harmony, Fairyland F60, Ariadoll / Switch Humming Dolly, Sadol Love 60 (not sure if anyone has tried a Napidoll on one of these?) I think someone even had a Rogebell on old Custom House body?
So there's lots of info on bodies and resin-matching earlier on in the thread!

 

Yes Kyo and Bander are right. Minifee body is 45cm, usually for 7-8in heads. Since Agabell is an SD head (8-9in) it should go on an equally proportioned body, like 60cm or 65cm if the proportions are right. The head DOES fit on a FPL60 but the color match is very very off, imho though I know there was someone that uses one for WS. Best match resin wise would be Volks, Crobidoll, Supia, and Little Monica 60cm bodies are just a few off the top of my head. All are in decent proportion as well. ^^

 

Has anyone put any if the napidolls on a mirodoll body? I have a Napi girl coming home (YAY) but that was the body I was considering since I know a lot of people use that for Supia hybrids

ROGEBELL!!!!!! I am so so excited, I actually missed ordering her last year because I was "getting out of the hobby".....and then I rethinking that and she was sold out, so I was really bummed, but now she will be coming home!
I *think* Mirodoll bodies should match, at least from reading, since Supia bodies match well for Napidoll and a lot of Supia owners hybrid their girls onto Mirodoll bodies.

So i put my Pekato head next to my Unoa zero, and the match is pretty pretty darn close xD I couldnt notice a difference in person really.

Yeah Xanadu, there was A LOT of back and forth about what works! XD I should have 2 LM bodies in a few months, so... PICS! XD

 

Xanadu: I think that since Agabell's head looks rather small on the Volks body, it'll look disproportionately small on a Crobi bod, since they're SD16 sized...

I reckon she'd look awesome on a 50cm body like Oceanmoon or SQLabs, but I am not too sure- also, because Supia is so slender and cute, I think she'd work really well on there??? She seems rather tiny from the promo pics, but I could be wrong!

 

SQ Labs has just opened a pre-order for their small bust 59cm girl body... reckon she would look cute on that!
