Mystic Kids Waiting room

I just sent my initial layaway payment for a full Caroline in normal yellow. I'm already struggling, wanting to throw a whole week's worth of pay at it to get it faster. Who knows I might see if I can make another payment next week. I need help

 

If you are making a pre-order- no matter how quickly you pay the waiting time will not change. Trust me I paid in full and still waited an extra month due to lunar new year holidays. Don't rush

 

I just got the shipping notice for my Lillian! I ordered her 5 days ago from Alice's Collections and because she was in stock, she's already shipped. I'm SO excited to get her. She should be here in 5-7 days (love that free EMS shipping.) I got her eyes, wig, shoes, etc from Alice's Collections as well, so I just need to make her dress once she arrives!

 

Just ordered a Mystic Kids Evelyn head. She's going on a body from another company. XD I already own a Mystic Kids Vanetta YoSD. She's excited for her big sister to come. Here's a pic of Millie Amilee Morou. She's incomplete for her character though. XD

You make BJD clothes too? I am making a new wig, dress (and petticoat, bloomers, ect), and shoes for both of my girls. Would love to see what you make for her!

I understand. It's really hard to wait! Just ordered mine and i'm going crazy. But making the waiting time fun by designing and making outfits for her. Will just tack them together before she comes (and make the pattern a cm bigger than company size information) and tailor them when she arrives. Hope you can get your Caroline soon. It's an adorable sculpt for sure! Good luck!

My little Millie (YoSD Mystic Kids Vanetta) took about 3-4 months? According to my AC account I ordered her 11/07/2014. and she arrived about.... let's see the day she arrived to me was 2/2/2015 (according to her ID card). But she came 30 days previously So 1/2/2015. So about 3 months wait time for doll, and wig.

I do a birthday but I haven't gotten presents for little Millie yet. She's about 4 now. And her birthday is 2/2/2015, the day I opened her box! Sorry I'm a little late to the party but she's beautiful! Do you have a name for her?

I agree with Sweet Tea. It's hard with measuring tape. I'd suggest the method she suggested. If you have success let me know! Would love to see the rings eventually!

Congrats! There's also a second hand waiting room too! It's in the same spot as the other waiting rooms are located in! If you want to meet more people you should go there too! I'm currently in the Myou doll and Mystic Kids waiting rooms since my Lucy will be an Evelyn head sculpt and a Myou 44 CM Girl body! I bought her new though so I'll be waiting forever, hehe. Ordered her on the 19th last week. Congrats again and would love to see her when she's here!

 

Waiting for me is the hardest, especially when I'm excited about something. Fortunately (and unfortunately) Alice Collection only had 3 month layaway so I can get it all paid off sooner but then the real waiting game starts haha

 

I agree. I'm so excited for Lucy to come. Lol. She was my graduation present to myself hehe. But my next doll I will be paying for myself with my own money. Since i will be getting some sort of job soon. Hehe. Gotta make sure i budget though. Gonna have a doll fund for sure.

 

YES! Today I ordered my first ever BJD! She will be an Evelyn sculpt. I am currently talking to a pattern maker about how to modify her patterns to fit her body. And since I decided against the factory outfit, wig, and shoes I will be browsing etsy for such things. EEK!!! This is a big day for me!!!

 

EEEP!!! My girl shipped today! I have her tracking number and everything! I'm so happy and excited to finally be able to show her off and all the clothes I make for her.

 

She finally arrived!!! I'm so happy! I can't wait to finish up all of her clothes and stuff

 

What are you guys opinions on MK waiting times? How long are they? I see so many diffrent waiting times for them that I don't know what to expect ^^

Okay, because I placed an order with Alice Collections on a Mystic Kids Lawrence for my girlfriend on the 29th of August and I've seen waiting times of around 30 business days, or 5 weeks ^^

 

I just ordered Mystic Kid Francis from Junky Spot yesterday, and got the order confirmed! Now I am just waiting on the tracking number! Here is the company picture!

Hi everyone! I just want to ask all the 1/4 doll owners if their doll's neck looks like it is too wide for the head? (I'm staring at my Natalia and it bothers me so much) if anyone owns any other 1/4 size dolls- how does it compare?

 

Waiting on Mystic Kids Eli! I love his big wide eyes, I needed a large innocent looking boy doll. I am excited for him to arrive home!
I am not fond of the prototype picture, but looking at the doll under the hair and clothes, I think he is going to be amazing!!

I'm getting my 1st Mystic Kids, Ellis. I've been wanting to upgrade one of my 1/4 dolls into an adult and Ellis was the closest to his mold (was still a second option though). I'm pretty excited and was glad AC was doing an event and the majority or there wigs, clothes, and shoes were on sale (plus Ellis himself ) Cant wait til he comes home

 

Yay! Finally I've ordered my first BJD at 'Alice's Collections': QingChen FOX (SD) / Full Set.
I know, I must be patient a little longer to get him. But this is already really exciting.

 

I have ordered a Verdin head from Alice Collections, I will be putting it on a Huajing body so I'm excited to see if it is a match.

 

Today I've got the message from 'Alice's Collections' that my order has been sent to my home.
Yay, finally I'm going to get my QingChen FOX (Full Set)! Hopefully the package will arrive soon at my place.

 

Today my above mentioned SD doll has arrived in a big and heavy package.
The international shipping was really fast to my surprise.
Currently I'm still a little struggling with his 71 cm size and his weight. This is my first BJD. And all the time I'm hoping that I won't get him broken.
As I've dressed him in his full set clothes, I've always had the feeling he's generally fighting clothes and prefers to be naked. Or he was just teasing me. After all he's a fox.

 

My Beth is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. She’s been done for a long time now, but I ordered a Doll Family-H head at the same time as her from Alice’s Collections, so it held up shipping to me. Which is pretty silly, honestly, since they ended up shipping them in separate boxes, and the DF-H head came by itself on Friday, so they totally could have shipped the Beth months ago, when she was ready!

ah well! I’m excited that she’s finally coming home.

I live in the UK which is a big pile of British suck and I ordered my Mystic Kids Eli and Milo on 01/07/2021 from Junkyspot who are awesome but then my package got stuck 'in transit' on 06/07/2021 and it hasn't mooooooooved for like 2.5 weeeeeeeeks.

I am going INSANE. I know there are huge problems at the moment so I'm trying not to get too anxious that a band of pirates showed up, hijacked the van and pilfered my beautiful boys to put in their collection of treasure hidden in some distant cave or something.

(sobbing, crying etc) Why aren't they heeeeeere? Their wigs are here! Their eye putty is here! All the face up stuff I ordered is here! JUST NO BEAUTIFUL BOYS!!!

Edit: I forgot to note that they got here around mid August! They're so freaking beautiful and awesome!

I just ordered Mystic Kids Beth yesterday. This will be my 2nd BJD. My first BJD was ordered in stock from Denver Doll so I've never had to wait for a doll to be made before. But I'm excited.

 

I just ordered Mandel from Junky Spot. I said 'no dolls this year' that didn't work out very well. I had been looking at him for awhile, but kept buying other dolls. I finally decided to just go for it... now to buy him some shoes.

I have a Muxue head on order from AC that I hope to hybrid onto my currently headless Angel of Dream body. But I do have an Evelyn and she is a lovely sculpt.

Ordered in January and the area was shutdown until recently. Got a shipping notice yesterday! Things are on the way : )

My mystic kids Muxue hybrid doll.
The body is an Angel of Dream 1/4 size girl body ordered through Alice's Collections back in 2020. Aside from some old body blushing the resin match is good.

I've been calling her Hildegard von Resin for the way her wig cap and somber expression make her look somewhat like she's escaped from a medieval tapestry.

I just ordered 1/3 boy ELLIS from Alice Collections. A Christmas gift to myself. Of course he won't get here by Christmas, but hopefully within a couple of months. I'm giddy with excitement. If he looks anything like the photos, he will be the perfect sculpt for the character I have in mind.

It has been a long long search for the right sculpt for this character. I have a body, and have bought 4 different heads over the last 6 years, trying to find the best sculpt for my guy, but none of them really fit my vision.. When I saw Ellis, I fell in love, and he is as close to my vision as I can get for my character. So I went ahead and ordered the full doll. I will find another use for the body I already have
