I ordered an MK Lillian a month ago and the package is supposed to come tomorrow! I am sooooo excited she will be my very first BJD.

OMG, she came today, and she is GORGEOUS! I took pics, but didn't get a chance to upload yet. I hope to do so tomorrow. I see how this could be addictive. ^_^

 

updated with ship and reception dates. She's a lovely head who needs a body. Her partner is a 72cm, who should be near 7 feet tall. She's supposed to be around 5' 2-3", but the proportion difference between her previously designated body and him looks a little... Obscene, actually. Love the sculpt, find the magnet and tab a bit tricky, stiff, not intuitive. As always, AC was great!

My little girl came last night. We already had some drama, of course. I don't like the eyes they come with at all. In the process of removing them, the eyelashes pulled off, along with a tiny bit of her eyeliner paint on one eye. She didn't speak to me or even want to tell me her name until this morning after numerous wig and eye changes. She said I can reveal all once I finish making her some clothes.

 

Oops, can't believe I forgot to post when my boy got here. I'll put up some pictures after he gets a new faceup and when I'm happy with the clothes I've made for him.

 

Anyone can tell me how long is the avarage waiting time for an SD head with Mystic Kids? I ordered a Miri head on 05.16. and I can't waaiiitttt Also I'm worried that she might not make it in time before I go away on vacation

Ordered a new body for my DoD Hoo head. It's my intention to age the character, so getting him a body that's taller and with a little muscle is just right for him.

I just ordered my very first ball-jointed doll and she ended up being a Mystic Kids Elisa Elf I fell absolutely in love with her and something just clicked, which took me by surprise! I cannot wait until she arrives~

 

So excited!! Got an email today - my Ellis is on his way!! Tracking says he should be here Monday!

 

My Ellis arrived yesterday... such agony-he was supposed to be here Monday but got held up at customs I'll probably post some pictures this weekend. Sorry, I'm behind. Got slammed at work and then the update happened. My body arrived and I'm very happy that the DoD head that I put on it fits perfectly!

 

I hadn't planned on buying him until next winter, but I couldn't resist the Black Friday sale for him. Since paypal was acting a bit odd, I thought I didn't get him until I got an email saying they shipped him about ten minutes after I bought him. The Junky Spot sure works quickly, incredible.

 

Shu (Francis) arrived yesterday! Sadly, his wig didn't turn out too well, the fabric I was using shed too much while I was sewing it. I just bought a couple new ones for him, I'll post pictures when he gets his new wigs and I finish his pajamas.

I just placed an order for Mystic Kids 45cm Natalia (pink skin, w/faceup) last night through the JunkySpot and got the shipping notification when I woke up this morning! I can't wait for her to get here!

I ordered my second doll a week ago from Junky Spot and my estimated delivery is THIS Friday!!! I ordered Lillian. Shes so cute can't wait until she gets here. Now I'm just for her wig, clothes, and shoes to come in from China. Thats still going to take a couple of weeks. I feel bad shes going to be bald and naked for a little while.

 

Im waiting for my beautiful Nicole to arrive! she should be here at the end of the month at the latest!

Just started a layaway with ACBJD for a qingchen fox full set for my sister !

 

I believe it’s about two months. I ordered a 26 cm body from alice’s collections about three months ago for a head I had but changed my mind about the head a month later and added a Julien head with faceup. I asked to have them wait for both to ship together so I just got an email today, exactly two months after the second order, saying they were shipping both orders today. Exciting!

I ordered my MK Lillian on July 20th and she still hasn't shipped unfortunately. So it has been 103 days. It's my first BJD and I am beyond impatient and getting annoyed now lol

I'm now waiting for my first BJD
I ordered 45cm Natalia from Alice's collection on Saturday (18th November). I have messaged them about approximations on how long it will take and they said about 3 months for the doll to be ready, so hopefully, I'll get her in January.
It is a full set in normal skin colour
I do have questions for anyone more experienced out there- how recent are the 3 part bodies for Mystic kids and does anyone know of any company with normal colour posable hands that fit mystic kids?
I have seen posability reviews for the 2-part torso but not the 3-part so I'm wondering what to expect

 

Congrats! The new three part bodies have been available since the beginning of this year with the release of their new dolls, oscar and nicole. I should be getting receiving oscar soon in the three piece body, maybe i could share my thoughts when he gets here, but i’m expecting goods things since someone in the discussion page mentioned that the new bodies pose wonderfully
